Ok, so as some of you may already know, I'm engaged! Woo hoo me, right? Hmmm. Listen to this.
Raymon, my fiance, is a great guy. He adores me, he makes me smile, he makes me laugh, he's hard-working. . . he just got a football scholarship to UGA and he's studying to become an OB/GYN! I mean, the dude's got his shit together. And when it comes to Brionna, oh Lord. He is SO in love with that little girl! She calls him da-da (her FIRST word, believe it or not, little brat!!), and he claims her as his own. I'm talking doctor's appointments, clothes, toys, the whole nine yards. . . he's daddy! And his family is just head-over-heels! His father hasn't held a baby in five years. Not since his eldest daughter (18 at the time) hung herself. I walked in with Brionna and now whenever I come to pick her up (Raymon keeps her while I'm at class), I always find Bri and her "Pee-Paw" and "G-G" asleep together. It's like we're one, big, happy family.
My only problem is Raymon! Lord knows I love him to death, but geez! He's always up my ass! I've always been kind-of closterphobic, but for some reason it quadrouples when I'm around him. I guess that's cause he's ALWAYS wanting to touch and kiss all over me. I can't get nothing done! If I'm cleaning, EVERY SINGLE TIME I bend down to pick something up, he's right behind me. He always corners me and tries to make me kiss him and I'm like EWWW DUDE! SPACE! And I swear, at LEAST 25 times a day he'll pick me up, carry me to the bedroom, climb on top of me and try to kiss all over me. . . just hoping I'll change my mind about waiting until I'm married to have sex again. But that just turns me off even more. He acts like a horny 14-year old! I have other shit to do then lay up in the bed with you all day! And him and his cousin have this stupid game going to see who can leave the most hickeys on their girlfriend's face. Like WTF? Who does that shit? Now I'm looking like somebody whooped my ass! It's pissing me off just THINKING about it! Ughhhh! And I've tried to talk to him about it - he just laughs and calls me crazy. He doesn't realize how incredibly bad the shit pisses me off. It's so bad to the point where I'm seriously thinking about leaving him.
But that's why I came here. You ladies are full of advice! I don't want to just give up on us because of something stupid like this - but I just can't take it anymore! What can I do to save my relationship!!??

Just tell him to chill the f**k out, hickeys are not sexy, and not professional when you go somewhere, I had an ex like that, I had to make up some shit, told him his breathe smells like ass and everytime he tried to kiss me I'd shove gum in his mouth, he eventually got the idea, LEAVE ME ALONE, f**k! lol

Hes just madly in love, its a new relationship, thats what happens. Enjoy it. Ive been with my SO for 7 years, and now we really arent like that anymore.. he gets like that when hes really horny and it pisses me off when im trying to do the dishes and hes all up on me.. but i deal with it, because i know he just loves me, ya know? it wont last forever so just try to enjoy it. And if its THAT bad, tell him that you just need a little space, you dont always want him hanging off you. You like it, but when its the right time. Tell him it turns you off.

I wish I had advice for you, my husband is the exact same way. I'm not a very affection person and it kills me! I just try and compromise. Half the time I tell him he better run and half the time I just suck it up...

I know he's a great guy and I should feel lucky he pays me that much attention, but that's really ALL he wants to do! It just drives me crazy! I want to be able to do something BESIDES kiss him! I want to go places and do stuff with him and my daughter and he gets aggravated because I won't stay there and be all over him. I took Brionna, him, my nephew, my girlfriend, and two of my guy friends to the park yesterday and I couldn't even get out there and play with the kids because he was all over me. I was trying to swing Brionna and Noah at the same time, and instead of him swinging one of them, he comes up behind me and grabs me and tries to pull me away so that I can go sit down and kiss on him! I dunno. Maybe I'm over reacting . . . but I just don't want to be touched! Lol. I sound like a whiney baby, huh?

Oh I totally know what you mean I mean affection is good but too much is just plain frickin annoying. I had that problem with my ex. I mean it's great to a point but when you ask them to stop and they don't then it becomes just plain disrespectful and would make me even more mad. You need to sit down with him, let him know how serious you are so he doesn't start laughing or make it into a joke, you should let him know you don't know if you can stay with him if he doesn't back off a little. If he loves you he should understand. Especially about the hickey thing, that's immature as hell. I think hickeys are soo trashy, I can't stand looking at people with them. If he wants to give you one he needs to do it somewhere where people wont see it. Just sit down with him, be completely honest and tell him exactly how you feel. Good luck.

I think it's great that he shows so much affection towards you, I wish i got more affection sometimes lol but I do think you need to sit down with him and let him know how you feel about the amount of "affection" he shows you. Let him know your serious and that it's not a joking matter, that you are feeling smothered at times. I think if you get him to realize just how your feeling it'll be fine. Let him know that you like the attention and everything, just not the amount lol.
