My daughter is 7.5 months old and still uses slow flow. The medium drowns her.

My LO would get frustrated with the bottle right before he turned 3 months so I changed the nipple and he was happy. He's 6 months now and doesn't seem to be frustrated withe the 3 month nipples so I'm not changing them till he shows me signs that he is.

Buy one nipple or a set of two and see how he does. You'll tell if he's getting it too fast.

Also I have a friend (on here) that uses the drop inns and advent (I think) and she said that the 3month nipples came out too fast for her boy but the advent nipples is what her son could handle. Just thought I'd tell you that. Good luck!

That's the same question i would ask and also how am i going to know when they want more oz of formula. my daughter is now 7 mnths and you can actually tell when its time to change to a med. or fast flow. it's like when they are hungry you can tell and when they have a dirty diaper. its the same thing. if your baby wants more or faster he would get fustrated and thats how your going to know he needs a faster flow.

I have a 4 month old that's using the slow flow NUK nipples and when he drinks the nipple completely caves in... I really can't tell if he's frustrated with the flow speed, sometimes he'll start fussin while feeding and reject the bottle for a sec but that's usually when I assume he needs to be burped...
