ok, now I'm scared. I have had this spot on my side that has been painful to touch for a couple days now. All day yesterday I was crampy and my stomach was continuously hard and I pooed 8 times yesterday. I was wondering if I should call my doc today, so I googled and now I am really freaked out about placental abruption. I haven't had any bleeding. So my question is, has anyone had a serious complication, such as placental abruption or something else that cause uterine tenderness and not had any bleeding?
From what I've seen and read, placental abruption can happen without bleeding out. I don't know alot of the signs, so if you're worried, call your doc!!!!
Quoting *Big V*:
I'd stay off the google...
In most cases an abuprtion happens very fast, and has extremely painful contractions on top of each other and a lot of bleeding
Maybe you have a stomach big or maybe you're body is starting to really get ready for labor...
Quoting No day but today:
I had a placenta abruption...I went almost the whole day without bleeding, but my back hurt REALLY bad. It was my lower back, which that is a sign of placenta abrutpion is your lower back hurting really bad. When I did bleed I started hemmoraging blood clots and lost a lot of blood. But the only symptom I had was back pain....you can have them without showing any bleeding, but I know in my next pregnancy the doctors always told me to come in if I had that pain in my back again right away.
OMG you should call...I had a hidden placental abruption with no bleeding and had all those symptoms. Thank god I fought my docs to check me out...eventually seths heart rate went super high and I had a an emergency csection. If you feel something isnt right stick with it!!
yeah my friend had a placental abruption and she had extremely bad contractions and very heavy bleeding -
there is a TON of pain in placental abruption.
Also, there COULD be no bleeding, I know someone on here where there wasn't a ton of blood until her water broke prematurely.
