I just recently switched my daughter to soy formula (Enfamil Prosobee), and I have noticed the powder formula tends to clump at the bottom of the bottle and sometimes cloggs the n****e when she's trying to eat. I didn't notice this with the regular milk-based formula but I was just wondering if anyone experienced this??? I was thinking of switching to concnetrate,(that's what the lady at the WIC office suggested). But I was also wondering how annoying the concentrate was to transport? The powder seems like it would be more convenient. Does anyone have any insight?

I used the concentrated stuff with my 1st baby...it was a pain in the ass. I only use powder now. I get clumps every once in a while but nothing too bad.

When I make a 4 oz bottle, i put in 4 oz water and only 1 scoop of powder then I shake the shit out of it then I add the 2nd scoop... That helps minimize the clumps.
But if you do decide to go concentrated I would still keep a can of powder for going out... :D

that's not a bad idea, I'll try that with the next bottle...I'm wondering if the clumps is from soy??? b/c before I switched I didn't have a problem at all with the regular enfamil. Maybe the formula just doesn't like my water??? Who knows...but thanks for your advice, I really don't want to switch to concentrate because if I don't like it I'm stuck using it for at least another 3 months til I go back to wic, . I hope the putting in half the formula will help...thanks again :D
