I have been kindof embarrassed to put this on here because it is REALLY weird, however I dont know who else to ask.. (I wont have health insurance until November) So, please no drama this is a serious problem.

Okay so ever since I had my daughter (3 and a half months ago) I have felt like every time I poop my perineum gets sore (I did NOT have an episiotomy I had a C-section and its not sore at the side where the anus is it is sore and the side of my vagina..) I have tried wiping better ( I thought that was the problem) But its not.. I wipe SUPER good, and some times even shower that area after pooping.. Honestly I am wondering if it is possible that something happened and my vagina and anus are some how connected and maybe poop is coming out of my vagina.. I know this is soo weird and gross, but I cant even have sex hardly and I want to but it just hurts.

Feel free to ask questions
and if you have ANY info on what could be going on PLEASE let me know!

lol idk.

this is going to sound even grosser, but if you really want to know.. take a mirror and watch to see what happens. EW.. but it would save you a dumb doctors visit? lol.. if nothing is wrong that is..

how if you had a c sec if your perineum sore?? im confused.

Google vaginitis (I may have spelt that wrong). Basically, it's like an infection that causes swelling and pain. I know our local health food store has stuff for it. It's a pill made by Hylands.

It is probably a bad stretch mark down there. I had a vaginal delivery (and second degree tears) but I know you can get stretch marks down there even without delivering vaginally, just from the pressure of the baby. I also have a super deep stretchmark that still gives me problems occasionally.

The other possibility is hemmoroids. I know it seems odd that it would seem to hurt near your vagina and/or perineum, but I had a bad one that still flares up and causes me pain that sometimes seems to come from the back edge of my vagina. I never even knew I had hemmoroids until I asked my doctor about it lol.

I'm confused as to why you think poop is coming out of your vagina...

I would do the mirror thing, and then see a doctor. *hugs*
That sounds really painful. I'm so sorry!

Ok I hope this is a current topic. I was just searching perineum tears online for my own information and came across this and registered just to answer your post. After I had my first son I tore and then went through 4 months of crying whenever I had to go number 2 before my husband convinced me to see my doctor. My symptoms all sounded just like yours but I chalked it up to tearing. BUT when I had my daughter I didn't tear and all was good for the first few weeks and then it started happening again. I asked my doctor and she said that when you are breastfeeding (and I'm not sure if you are or not, I was), your body takes the estrogen from your skin etc to keep up with the nursing. Therefore your skin loses it's elasticity making it painful to ummmm.... stretch? when going number 2. She also told me that if it kept it up to come back and she could put me on something to help.

I hope this helps... what a nice first post to your forums! lol.

ETA: I see that you are formula feeding, but maybe your body is still dealing with post-pardum hormones???
