Baby K'tan vs Moby Wrap Hello ♥ Kitty 1 child; Texas 1507 posts

I'm so torn in between the two.
I'm leaning towards Moby because I hear more about it but also heard it's a pain in the ass sometimes.
The K'tan seems to be easier but I'm worried about the support but kinda expensive.
Any opinions or suggestions?

I bought the Moby Wrap just before I had my fourth baby a couple of months ago. Prior to that, I'd been using a Baby Bjorn because I hadn't had much luck with all of the different slings I had tried. (My babies love to look out at the world instead of being contained.) I wanted something with a little more versatility and something I could nurse in so I bought the Moby Wrap. It was so comfy and definitely versatile but just didn't work for me in the end. With three other little ones to worry about it just wasn't practical to try to put it on in a parking lot or in a store. It might have worked if I could have just put it on before even getting in the car but I live in the desert and was dying (temp wise) in all of that fabric. If you live in moderate temps, you might really like it. It is very secure- probably more so than the Baby K-tan. Anyway, I just ordered a Baby K'tan and am going to give it a go. Good luck to you!

I first used the Baby K'tan when I was a nanny, and now i got one to use with my own kids (and it's my signature baby shower gift too!). I love it!
You can do all the same things as you can with a Moby, but it's easier to use. I had trouble wrapping the Moby - too much fabric. The Baby K'tan took me a minute to figure out too, but once you get it it's so easy.

I recommend the Baby K'tan to all my friends. I just love love love it!

I am torn between the two as well for #2 that I am expecting in Aug. I read this article on the Baby K'Tan and it sounds greathttp://www.allreviews.com/baby-carriers/2009/11/20/baby-ktan-organic-carriers-support-good-causes/ , but I like that the Moby is more adjustable. Do you all find th Baby K'Tan is secure? is it adjustable?

Baby K'tan all the way!!!
I have both and I find that the moby is a little too fussy and the baby seems to sag after a little while wearing it. Also - the Moby has a ton of fabric which drags on the ground when you are putting it on.
With the K'tan you just reach back and pull on the loop and the baby is in place.
Also, it has less fabric. I love it!!
