Middle names to go with Abigail. user banned
13th Nov '09

I realize we have only been trying to conceive for a few weeks now, but we've already started talking about names. If we have a boy, my fiance is dead set on naming him Joseph Michael, so no questions there. If we have a girl however, we both agree on the name Abigail but disagree on the middle name. I like Abigail Grace, he likes Abigail Elizabeth. I don't dislike Abigail Elizabeth, but I feel it's a bit lengthy. What do you think? And what are some other classic, traditional names that you think go well with Abigail? Thanks in advance. :)

When I saw the topic header, I immediately thought Grace before I even saw it was an option!

IMO, Abigail Elizabeth has too many vowel sounds all blended together...

Grace is nice, but Grace and Rose are becoming the next Lyn and Marie, generic and filler-ish.

my husband and i were going to name our daughter Abigail Hannah.. We are religious, and it means my fathers gift of grace.

Grace is becoming really over used IMO. It's a loverly name but it's everywhere. My name is Malinda Elizabeth and I don't mind it but it is definately a little long. I actually go by Lyndee and I think it sounds long like that too lol. Have you thought about using anyone specials middle name? My middle name is after my Mimi.
