I let my mother watch my son for the day. So I come back to her house and pick him up and her friend is their. I sit down and watch TV with my mother for a little bit and then her friend holds my baby upside down by his feet. I freak out when I see this and get my son from her and she says I am being overprotective and she was just having fun. My son is 4 months. Do you think I am being to protective can holding him upside down like that cause damage. I am just curious.
I'd be f**king pissed
Quoting madden's momma:
Was she playing with him? Was he smiling or laughing or what? lol
My son is 10 months and I do that among other crazy things that you'd think would scare a child. lol
I freaked out the first time my SO did it, I'm sure it's harmless for only a few seconds but seriously you don't even know that woman!!!!!
4 months old seems a little young--especially if it's not your child. I would have had to b***h slap her.
OMG!!!!!!! my son is 4 months old and i would FLIP THE f**k OUT if someone had my son upside down by his feet!!!!!!!! i mean i play around and tip him backwards a little. or play "airplane" where he does a nose dive but it's for like two seconds. but by the FEET!?! seriously!!! f**k THAT!
I would of flipped the f**k out!
is she serious? you def WERENT being overprotective. I mean he is your son, so who the hell is she to tell you what she can or cannot do? I say shes stupid
My uncle used to take his kids and hold them by the ankles and throw them up and flip them around, catching them by the waist "just to have fun".
And no, you're not being overprotective. Eff her for thinking she can treat other kids like she treated her kids when she raised them during the dark ages.
I would have went off.
Quoting MISS Tommie[BBM]:
I hold kieran upside down by his thighs, he loves it. He cracks up. He just turned 4 months last week. I mean I don't hold him like that for any kind of extended period of time, more like a few seconds, but i dont think its causing any damage. They're upside down in our tummies, right? Unless its for a long time i dont think its a big deal
I wouldn't like it either. Their little ligaments aren't very strong at that age. I had my shoulder pulled out of place when I was an infant, because my uncle was holding me by just my arms.
