Ive had this wart on my foot for probably 6 months and i was told that if i left it alone it might go away on its own. it didnt though....so around mid first trimester i bought the freeze off stuff and that made it smaller but it didnt completely go away so my mom bought me the other kind with a brush and bottle of salicylic acid. i looked on the back of both products before i used them and there wasnt any warning against using them while pregnant....well my mom asked me if the one she bought me was safe today and i was like thinking ummm i need to check it out, but why would she have bought it if she wasnt sure? so i just was searching google and now im so upset because apparently prodvcts with salicylic acid in them are extremely unsafe and can cause reyes syndrome and im beating myself up over this because i was stupid and didnt research this before! ive also been using face wash with that acid in it so its not like ive just had small exposure here and there. i really am scared that i hurt my baby and i dont know what to do.....im so stupid :( has anyone been in this situation i just feel like a dumbass for not being careful enough...

egh...I'm sure everything will be okay.
I used a few things that I shouldn't of taken while pregnant, because I didn't read the label until later.

I think you'd have to use it daily in large amounts to cause any problems.
I never knew anything about it, and continued to use my salicylic acid face products, and I also removed a wart on my hand while pregnant.
Both my girls are totally 100% normal.
I dont think it's something you need to freak out about. Seriously.... if I avoided every single product or food someone told me I shouldn't use while pregnant... I'd have to live in a bubble. :)

I'm going to say that one time use is ok.
It's recommended that you avoid it while pregnant, but mistakes happen. Don't beat yourself up over it

I have heard, if you cut a square of duct tape and tape it over the wart... and make sure it's covered 24 hours a day for a week or two the wart will die and fall off.?? IDK if it's true or not. But it's safe... lol
