my son just got ovr chicken pox, damn it i didnt take any pics..
um, chicken pox normall start on the back, around the groin area and under armpits before they spread to tummy, arms, legs and face.
to me that doesnt look like chicken pox but more of a rash.
chicken pox look more like tiny red pinpricks when they first show and after a few days turn into big watery lumps.

does he say they're itchy? does he have a bit of a fever?
try google for some pics.

also, idk how it work there with your insurance and stuff. but if it is CP it was far far cheaper for me to take him to my doctors to get a script for his bath stuff and lotion. i bought some stuff from the chemist and it cost me like $20, then i took him to the doctor and got a way bigger bottle of his bathstuff anf lotion for $6.

if money is tight, baking soda in the bath is also good to soothe. it doesnt sting or anything so dont worry about that. its an old thing, you grandmother probably used baking soda in the bath for your parents when they had CP, lol.
