I know watery clear runny NOSE is a symptom of teething, but over the past week one of my sons eyes has been really watery too. Is this ALSO from the teething, or is there something bigger going on?
Is it clear? Or yellow/green? It could be the beginning of a blocked tear duct.
Its normal your baby produces a lot of water in his eyes my niece is just like that...seems like she wants to cry all the time .

Ok I just looked this up:
I DOES sound like a clogged tear duct. He has the bulge and the redness around the eye too. Uh oh...
Ok, it definitely sounds like a clogged tear duct, but I also read this:
How is it treated?
Since the majority of cases resolve without treatment, most doctors suggest waiting to see if the duct opens on its own. There is spontaneous remission in 95 percent of cases by age 1.
In the meantime, doctors typically recommend keeping the eye clean, and may prescribe an antibiotic eye ointment to help reduce the discharge from the eye. Often, health care providers recommend massaging the lacrimal sac
