honestly i think its got something to do with either allergies, a lot of the time she throws up mucus in the morning, or acid reflux

maybe GERD or reflux? Does anyone in your family have a hiatial hernia? They can be herditary and my hubby has that along with GERD and throws up a lot, esp. after he eats. Is it worse right after she eats or if she lays down after eating?

My son sees a GI specialist at Chop. His name is Dr.Flick and he is AWESOME! He has done so much for my son and everytime I had a concern he saw him in a matter of days and has done several tests to figure out the problem. I would highly recommend him you try getting her in to see him. He has appointments at the hospital and also outpatient center in chalfont.
What pedi do you see?

Check with your insurance but you may not need the pediatrican to make a refferal. I know with my insurance you can just contact a specialist yourself.

I know this is a way old topic but does anyone know if she ever found out what caused her daughters vomiting?

I am facing the same problem with my daughter. She is 2.5 and has been vomiting daily for the past 6-8 months and the Dr keep saying it's normal and she will out grow it. It's been almost 8 months of daily vomiting sometimes 2-3 times a day. This cannot be normal and she is losing weight. 21 pounds at 29 month is not normal.
