I'm wondering if you can make your own...and how easy it is to do? I can pick up fabric tomorrow but I'm wondering if anyone's done this before and what was the outcome lol.

I've made both the Moby style wraps, and the Mei Tai styled wraps.
I prefer the Mei Tai... seems to support the baby better.
The Moby is so easy to do... the Mei Tai requires some sewing skills. ;)

Do any of you mommies worry that the wrap/sling might come undone and you might drop the baby? I'd love to use a baby sling but I'm so worried that the baby will end up getting hurt. I know I'm overly paranoid.

A Moby wrap is super easy to make! All you need to do is cut the fabric and you're good to go! ***That being if you use a jersey/stretchy cotton type fabric because the edge of the fabric will just roll.

Hi, it's David. I work for a company that makes hand sewn baby slings. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have about them.

The head of our company has 3 kids under age 6 and a fourth on the way this winter, she knows everything about baby wearing. We have some helpful videos on our site on fitting the sling, different positions, questions, etc. - Cheeky Baby Slings
