does it work?
Ive heard if you suck your stomach in EVENTUALLY you look thinner (due to muscles tightening)... so just wondering who has tried it, how long before you see results IF ANY and also how did you do it (for example did you suck in for say 1 min then let go then suck in again or ?? )
obviously i know you wouldnt physically be losing weight but instead perhaps tightening to look thinner..
any advice, comments etc welcomed!

I used to always walk with my stomach muscles tightened. It became habit for me and I didnt even have to try.
I wish I could. I cant even tighten them for 4 secs lol
Never tried it but I have one of those exercise belt thingys that I use..and I hope it'll work.
Research "belly chain to lose weight" It's a chain you put around your tummy and close around your sucked in stomach, lol. You wear it for about 10 minutes a day, several times a day, and you're supposed to lose stomach fat. It keeps you from letting go of the muscles and forgetting. I've never used one, but someone told me about them...:)
I used to suck in pretty much all the time. At least when I was around anyone. I don't know if I really lost weight, but it became a habit so I guess I looked thinner either way.
i think if you walk upright with good posture, your stomach will naturally go in and make you look thinner. me being a former dancer, do this without thinking about it. but i have noticed that if i stand in front of the mirror and "relax" i look pudgier. but when i stand normal and with good posture, i look thinner .. make sense?
yeah i have really bad posture!
i should work on that, but i crushed vertabra in my lower back when i was younger and ever since i have compensated and correct posture actually hurts my back severly :|
Before I got pregnant (and even until I started showing), I always sucked in my stomach. I hated the way it looked and when I sucked it in, it eventually just became a natural thing for me. But it never made me actually thinner.
this made me laugh. Whenever I pose for a pic, I suck in my abs, pull my shoulders back, stick my head all the way out till it almost hurts and point my head down slightly and tilt. Oh and myhands on my hips. It makes me look 20lbs thinner in pics :)
