I have to be honest, I don't know too much about Party Lite. However, I just joined Scentsy and my first full month was in June. I can tell you that my first month's profit was just over $300. And I haven't done any parties yet, that's just from taking the products in to work.
PartyLite looks like they have beautiful products, but I like the safety and simplicity of Scentsy. And the feedback from my clients is AMAZING! There are TONS of scents to choose from, and TONS of warmers. They are also coming out with stuffed animals with scented pouch inserts, and scented foaming hand sanitizers.... these will be available Sept 1st 2010

Quoting *Spottieottiedopalicious*:" if you've tried both, which do you prefer?? I love partylite, but with a houseful of very tiny kids ... [snip!] ... kids i haent been able to really indulge for a few years. I thought about trying Scentsy, but i wanna hear from others first."

If you have small kids you need to steer clear of Scentsy. They boast that they're flameless products are better for your children and safer however their lightbulbs burn so hot they can burn your children if they touch it and their melts are high maintanence. I sell Partylite. Partylite also sells warmers like Scentsy however Partylite uses led lights which burn more efficiently to save you money on energy costs and protect your children with lower heat intervals. It will never get warmer than a warming pad. Also our melts do not have to be repoured into their containers to maintain their scents and last longer.

If you do miss candles keep in mind that Partlite candles burn cleaner than any other candle on the market and burn at a lower heat. I've actually spilled wax on my arm accidentally and it felt like a paraffin treatment. Your kids, your home, and your budget are safer and better off with Partylite.

My scentsy warmer doesnt get "hot" at all, just warm.
i agree with what this user said: "The best thing about Scentsy is that it is safe for little kids. 100% non-toxic and only heats about as hot as a parafin wax hand mask. And no flame so no risk of the kids burning themselves or burning the house down. :) "

How hot does the Scentsy Wax get?
The wax temperature is very low, just above body temperature. The Scentsy Wax never gets hot enough to burn anyone since we use a low watt light bulb.

With regarding the question, Scentsy or Partylite, I have tried both. I perfer Partylite all the way. I also have 3 young children in the house, but they do not bother with the display's of Partylite, because they know that if they break it, we will no longer be able to enjoy the beautiful, clean aroma that Partylite has to offer. True that Scentsy is a bit cheaper, but unfortunatly with a big part of their product, I would still of been left in the dark when our hydro went out due to a storm. My candles from partylite was amazing during this time. I was able to light up my house, because Partylite offers the brightest candle in the world, which I have 10 of. After burning them for 8 hours straight, I still have plenty of candle left, and they burn clean and I would never go back to Scentsy, just my opinion. Thanks
