just so you know I just got a changing table really nice one for free on freecycle! all it really needed was a new pad. its very sturdy and not wobbly at all kids grow out of stuff so quickly you can really get nice stuff and for free. no garage sales to sift through and paying more than you want for an item!

good luck finding good products moms out there!!

A tip from when I worked at babues r us... ALWAYS Leave the carrier arm up in the carry postion, on the infant carriers even when in the stroller. My friend bought a travel system which is discontinued now but her son was in it and it colapsed and the only thing that stopped him from hittinbg the ground was the carrier arm on the infant carrier.

My baby hated tummy time, too. We just kept it short. And I tried the boppy and several different tummy play mats. It didn't matter. I don't think the boppy will help with tummy time, but we did use it when she was learning to sit. You wrap the thing around their legs to keep them upright. So to answer your question. I don't think it will help with your child learning to like tummy time. The other uses for it worked for me. I tried to use it as a nursing pillow, but I prefered to use a regular pillow instead. I did use it to wrap around her when she laid on her back (as a way to prop her up). If you can get one cheap, I probably would get one.

oh well thank you for that post! I saw you posted the first time but I wasn't sure if you didn't use it for anything because you didn't like it, or it didn't work out well. I don't think I'll bother with it.. I've been trying and I prop him up on a pillow, put him on me, lay down with him, play with a toy by him... none of it works. And nursing I just use a regular pillow.

i had a boppy with my first, I liked it for breastfeeding but unfortunaly I had to stop after he was a month old cause I got blocked and got an infection.

I still used it a little bit, I liked it for holding him for long periods of time and even for bottle feeding. I think I really used it alot.

I got one for free at my baby shower so I am happy about having it I prob would have bought one ifi didnt get one. I liked it but everyones different.
you can use it for helping them sit up. but I think the walker worked better for that for me. babys hate tummy time its just how it is I think. what I did with my son was made him sit on his tummy and moved his legs like he was crawling so he got used to the motion and it made it so he didnt hate sitting still as much.

but after a while he would cry so it didnt last long had to do it in short spurts.

I have a vibrating chair. Is that just as good as having a swing and/or a bouncer. Or should we get one of those two too?
