How often are people rejected/disqualified for those branches when it comes to orthopedics?

DH just had his MEPS today and they told him he has a pronation.
He failed the one test where they have you touch your elbow to your ribs and flip your palm over. He is also color blind. He is so upset that he may not qualify for the army =( he was really excited about it. They are having him go back Tuesday but I'm not sure what for...

My hubby is a Navy recruiter so I will ask him when he gets home. I know that there can be differences from one branch to the next but I'm not sure.

He might be able to get a waiver for the rib touch thing. Being color blind will not keep him from joining but will keep some jobs from being open to him.

Oh and forgot to mention..Since the economy started going to the shitter the military (especially the Army) has been really tight about getting waivers and things.

The recruiter will just have to sign a waiver. My SO failed by 1 point and he just got a waiver.
