My name is Kristen, 3 years ago I joined this site when I expected my son Anthony in 2010... My old profile might be able to be found on here, however things have changed and I'm no longer with his father for he went "down-hill". Today I am a happier lady lucky to have found love again. Me and my boyfriend Matt have been together over a year and I found out I'm expecting #2! Surprised and excited I'm also scared as hell. My last labor story is horrific, I shared it on whattoexpect.com and got trashed for it so ill just tell it on my profile. To make it short and to the point, I died during labor. Yea not many come back to say this but I fought death to push my son out on September 18, 2010. I'm very blessed that me and my son are okay and living a normal healthy life and now he will get to be a big brother! Maybe it's the hormones but I cry at the thought lol I'm looking for support with mothers who will also be doing all natural births and could support me through this. I'm looking forward to meeting all you mommies and I will try to be of much help as possible as well! Good luck to you all! :)

I am a mother of 2 expecting #3 in April! My first delivery was completely natural at the age 16 and 115lbs on due day I delivered a beautiful 7lb 7oz baby boy! I was in labor for about 22 hours I was told so many stories about problems with the epidural I was scared to have it. The actual delivery was pretty intense but during labor the doctor gave me newbain ( not sure how that is spelled lol) through my iv. It helped a lot at first but has labor pains intensified it was less effective. I was very young and this was my first child which increased my anxiety. It is going to be painful no doubt but just remember women have been doing this since way before the epidural was invented. Even though you're not new to birthing I would suggest taking a birthing class. They can give you lots of helpful tips on how to get through this natural child birth. They teach you all about controlling your breathing, finding focus points (which helped me a lot) and many other things you may find useful on your big day! Good luck to you, you can do this!!!
