hello my name is Kris. I have a little girl named darlene. she is now 23 mos. 28 lbs and 33 inches tall and still rear facing. Im a Child Passanger Safety tech (certified to install car seats). If you have any questions on car seats, installs, extended rear facing or extened harnessing please pm me.
so near the shoulders is where you shouldn't be able to pinch it? ON or near? because I didn't try there, I can pinch it below the chest clip. I'll take a picture later and send it to you when we go to get diapers.
Kris I have a q for you. I have an evenflo covervtible (triumph advanced lx) and I have my 6 month old in it. The thing is, I keep hearing you shouldn't be able to pinch the strap to create a fold, or else its too loose. But I can do that with his straps, and they are so tight I can hardly clip them. :(

since you know a lot about car seats are there any good ones that let a 4-5 year old stay in a 5 pt harness? hes like 45 inches (i think) and 36-38 lbs. he is right at the threshold for his harness on his seat.
What's the deal with using a carseat that has no cover!? Ok...not ok...!? It's a Cosco Scenera and the baby is just riding in the plastic shell...:?
Yayy good to hear from you that you like it, I'm glad I picked a good one
hey I was just wondering what your personal opinion was on the my ride 65? we;re thinking of getting one for our oldest so he can rf longer, then put our littlest in his evenflo triumph advanced.
I have no clue about the Peg Perego g3!? Sorry! I haven't even heard of it... You are right, the iCandy second seat is small! But, the seat on the Select is a only a smidge smaller than a Bugaboo Cameleon seat, which is pretty large! I think it'll definitely last...Here are some IRL pics...they start on the second page and are sporadic through out the next 6-7 pages! http://strollersandprams.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=27891
I dunno if wer are done done...we keep throwing around the idea of a 'Maybe Baby'...but hubby's not even here and will only be here for 18 days in April...so if it happens, it happens...if it doesn't we are taking that as a 'sign' and we'll be done! HUGE life decisions are easier when left to chance! LOL I'm gonna get to googling this carseat. Someone posted a pic of their baby in it RF'ing and it looked super upright!!! I'm really sorry about your loss, I had no idea! But...
I know I always bother you with carseat questions...I'm sorry...but who better to turn to!? I was wondering what your review of the Orbit Toddler car seat is...or if knew of a good, honest review off site?! I just swapped the Bee for the Orbit Toddler system and was thinking if I liked the quality of the stroller, I might get Lambie the carseat?! Since she is still ERF'ing...the swivel seems super convenient?! PS. Congrats on TTC!!!
K...what would you choose...I found a NIB Graco Nautilus on CL for $100...[I could probably negotiate slightly lower]...OR...the new Parkway SG [which is also about $100!] :?: He's alittle over 5.5...doesn't mind a 5-pt harness...but I would like more room in my backseat, though it's not a huge deal! HELP!?
The Parkway SG!? Is it any good...and what's the buckle in the middle of the seat for!? I like that the cupholders are more forward, cause in our car there is no room to flip out from the side! We have the old model Parkway, but my friend keeps it in her car, cause she takes my son all the time! I am using the Decathlon RF'ing for Lambie...till she hits the 33lbs limit. Which leaves the Recaro's that are in Hub's car and her Boulevard, which he does NOT fit in...in the crotch area! LOL I'd like to move him to a Booster...!?
