HI, My name is Jessica =) My fiance and I have been together almost 10years and 04.15.10 were blessed with our baby boy Kaleb! He has since become my world =)
On April 15th, 2010 i went in for my 40wk check-up (yes i had him on my due date) and they measured him to be about 11lbs 6oz so my doctor basically rushed me over to the hospital for a c-section. They had to move the time up 2hrs but while being prepped for surgery i went into flow blown labor, its all kinda a blur to me cuz i was freaking out, but before i knew it Kaleb Scott Bennett was here weighing 9lbs4oz...... no 11 ponder but still a big boy :)
The Day he was born (04.15.10) 9lbs4oz 21inches
Londyn is here 08/04 I have 2 kids and live in MassachusettsJune 21

Your son is adorable! :D
Your very welcome! don't let a crapy labor system get to ya. You aren't a lone mama... so many woman end up depressed and unhappy with their labors :[ The current system is very flawed and it's so sad. Medical "professionals" dont understand how they make woman feel. Its not just " oh, I am going to get over it" it effects you forever... even if you aren't actively sad it does stay with you as a memory. Every woman deserves the birth she wants and if that isn't possible then she deserves the right to try. ;P I hope I can have my ideal birth next time as well! I am so envious of these woman that have these beautiful, short water births... complication free! :]
http://www.webmd.com/baby/news/20060607/more-c-sections-more-complications ^This is a good article. Its about how multiple C-sections can be dangerous :O OH! I like this one. Not scary and its pro natural birth XD. Which is safest for a VBAC mama: http://www.hippiedippiebebe.com/childbirth/risks-vbac-repeat-c-section/ Here is a comparison of Csection safety vsVaginal: It's kind of scary since you already had a Csection but It has some good points on it. :O http://www.childbirthconnection.org/article.asp?ck=10166 * There are a lot more risks with repeat Csections but doctors don't say that because they get more money and it's easier for them if you choose it. You need to do what you feel safe with but I personally would reccomend a home birth or birth at a birthing center just to ensure the happiest and safest labor experience you can get :3. Bad labor experiences can be very traumatizing... I had one lol. So, you have to feel as safe and secure as you can. Thats all that matters mama I wish you the best of luck with which ever rout you choose! If you decide to do a HBAC or VBAC, I BELIEVE IN YOU! XD! As cheesy as it is. I do believe you are capable of a vaginal birth. Hell, even a natural vaginal birth ;P We woman can go through more pain then one would think. haha. Next time, I am hoping to have a nice safe water birth at home. :] I ended up with pre-eclampsia and was pretty traumatized by the hospital so idk, I kind of was a home birth advocate and it reassured my feelings on it and now I am going to school for midwifery! lol. You gotta be in the system to change the system. Ya know?
If you want, I can send you some really wonderful information on how Vbacs are actually safer. Its so rare to have any issues mama. In fact multiple Csections are worse on the body. You have a higher rate of blood clots and some other stuff but I don't want to scare you in case you decide to have another Csection. :] Just make sure to do some wonderful research! I believe in your body! :D You can do it!!! You could maybe look into a birthing center even! They are wonderful and I know the one I went to had a 7% hospital transfer rate and only a 4% Csection rate! Maybe one near you would be that great! Its extremely safe and secure :]
I'm sorry mama! D: Maybe you can always try for a VBAC? You have over an 80% chance of it being successful the second time around :] So, I wouldn't worry if you ever decide to try again! Labor is pretty easy as long as its natural. Pitocin s***s balls... at least you avoided an induction lol.
I am not trying to come off weird or anything but I read your labor and I was just curious, did you get a Csection because your doctor though your baby was too big? That sounds really awful. :[ I think I would be super mad about it. How did you handle it?
