My name is Jamie and I'm married to the LOVE of my life, James. We have known each other for 11 yrs and been married for 4 yrs. He is my best friend and without him who knows where I'd be today. He is the best father our children could ever have. They are lucky to have him and so am I!!
We extended our family by 1 on August 7, 2007 when our precious angel Connor James was born. He is absolutely amazing!! He is 2 1/2 almost 3 years old and growing up more and more everyday. He wants to do EVERYTHING for himself. He has become quite the daredevil trying to do handstands and such...OFF THE COUCH. On Aug. 23rd he'll be starting pre-k. I'm not sure how I feel about this. I know it will be good for him to be around other children but at the same time I just want to keep him home with me. He is excited about his baby brother. He's been such a help picking things out and getting everything ready.
**UPDATE** After TTC since November 2008 our prayers have been answered =D
LMP was January 4th, 2010. On January 30th I started spotting (implantation bleed) Tested January 31st had a faint positive. On February 2nd our dreams were answered and we got our BFP!!! We had our first doctors appt in Feb and they confirmed I am in deed pregnant. It's been a rough 15 wks. I have been so nauseous and very tired. Hopefully once I am further along these symptoms will start to subside. We find out what our little bean is May 12th. (Which happens to be my husbands birthday)

**UPDATE** I'm 23 almost 24 wks into my pregnancy. We found out that we're having another boy. We're very excited that Connor will have a little brother to play with. June 19 went to L&D to be monitored for pain and pressure in the pelvic region. They did a vaginal exam. My cervix is still closed and I'm not leaking any fluid. They tested me for a UTI and other bacteria infections and GBS. The results came back negative for a UTI or other bacteria infection and we're still waiting on the GBS results. After being on the monitor for 2 hours they concluded the pressure was being caused by the contractions I was having which were 1-6 min apart. They gave me a shot of terbutaline to stop the contractions and relieve the pressure. Within 5 minutes I was feeling great. They monitored me for another 1 hour and I was having a couple smaller contractions but nothing I was feeling. They finally allowed me to go home around 1230am. I have to take it easy the next couple days. I have my routine OB appt June 23rd and we'll find out more then.

**UPDATE** On June 28th I went back into L&D for no fetal movements in 4 hrs. When we got there of course LO started moving. They wanted to check me anyways just to be sure everything was ok and the baby wasn't in distress. They hooked me up to the monitors and it took them FOREVER to find LO's HB. Once they did the had a hard time keeping it cause he kept moving all around. While my nurse was in the room she noticed I was having contractions 2 min apart. Right away they gave me a shot of terbutaline and put me on a fluid IV. They checked my cervix and as usual there was no change...still closed and very high. They ran a test that lets you know what your chances are of going into labor within the next 2 wks. Luckily that came back negative. They monitored me for another hour and since I was still having contractions they gave me 1 more shot of terbutaline. I was finally able to leave around 12am. I had a follow-up appt the next day with the dr on call from the previous night. She didn't want to check me for risk of having my cervix start to dilate prematurely. I was told to continue to take it easy and monitor the contractions. Any more the 4 in an hour that wont go away after laying down and drinking some water to go back to L&D and get checked out. So far so good. I've had little contractions here and there but nothing to worry me. Next appt is July 21st. Hopefully I can get some answers as to why this is happening again.
