Looking good is not a privilege, it’s a virtue which people earn with practice. Everyone likes to look good and be appreciated and praised by others for being so. Now when it comes to the matter of celebrities, the story is altogether different.

First of all, you are usually a celebrity because of your looks. Your skill sets come in later. All those millions of followers on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook start following you mostly because of those ravishing looks. Not a day goes by when a celeb can step out of the house without donning makeup. She has to be picture-perfect at all given times. That’s what the cost of stardom is. But again that’s the reason they are there. They love to be admired, and for that to happen, they have to always look fabulous. It's not a simple feat to achieve, and to maintain that lifelong is no joke. Some lose it after some time and some others bounce back looking more gorgeous than ever.

Now it’s mainly up to us to judge them by their looks and rate their performances in the public eye. Once you start losing that oomph factor, no amount of makeup or expensive clothes is going to bring back that charm. Here we present some celebs who totally lost their charm after their pregnancies and never bothered to or simply couldn't regain it back. And then there are some who are almost equivalent to goddesses. They just shine, no matter their age.

17 Kate Winslet

Who are we to criticize another person’s body or looks? We sure do idolize women to the extent of even copying them, especially when they are celebrities. Kate rose to fame after starring in the blockbuster success Titanic. She left such a lasting impression on the minds of her fans and followers that even the loss of those dazzling looks doesn't take away from her acting abilities. There is no question about it, pregnancy is indeed a miracle, and so are the millions of followers she has. Kate definitely let herself go after her pregnancy, but she doesn't seem bothered by it or seems to care about getting back into shape. And that is fine with us. We still love you, Kate.

16 Leah Remini

Leah Marie Remini. Now, what is it that makes you a sought-after person even after you seem to have lost out on the oomph factors in all the right places? Leah still has a strong fan base. Guess that comes with being bold enough to leave Scientology and actually become an anti-Scientology activist. Guess Tom Cruise and you might not be the best of friends now. Also with that kind of a history following you, I don’t think we can rightly blame you for not getting back into shape post delivery. Being a producer, actor and author might be leaving her with too little time to actually find time for herself. My heart, here at this juncture, might actually come out for you a little.

15 Drew Barrymore

Drew was and always will be my personal favorite - whatever state she is in now. I find her to more cuter now than she was before. Unfortunately, in Hollywood, celebs have to put their appearance first if they want to keep themselves relevant. Well, I would grant her one thing, she still really carries herself well, considering the kind of controversies she’s been involved in. Be it failed relationships, drug abuse, rehabilitation, liquor addiction, she’s been there, seen it all, and has bounced back in life to achieve the stardom she rightly deserves. And I’m more in love with her for the same reasons. But this world itself is a very cruel place, and I don’t think out-of-shape stars will gain more fame by remaining so.

14 Alanna Masterson

Those eyebrows just did us in, didn’t they? Alanna Masterson, born in 1988, is an American actress known for her role as Tara Chambler in the AMC television series The Walking Dead. In May 2017, Alanna Masterson deleted her Instagram account after she was body shamed.

Some viewers mocked her weight after an episode in which she was actually six months pregnant. The producers hid her baby bump behind props, but some viewers thought she looked overweight.

A couple of days after the show was broadcast in the US, she posted a snap of her newborn daughter Marlowe on Instagram. She hit back at her body shamers: "Dear Instagram trolls, bodyshamers, and the men and women who think it's OK to comment on my weight. I hope that you don't have children. And if you do, I hope you teach them about kindness and acceptance. I hope they learn that it isn't OK to make fun of people or call people names. I hope one day YOU learn what it takes to be a parent."

13 Jessica Simpson

Everyone has a mouth, and some are notorious for really speaking their mind. I really doubt Jessica remembers shaming a fellow pop star over the change in her body after delivering a baby. I guess karma came back to bite her? Jessica got the same amount of shade thrown back at her by the media after she got pregnant and gave birth. The media and fans alike called her out for packing on the pounds during pregnancy and not bouncing back quickly enough after it. Jessica did try to make a comeback and make attempts to regain her stardom status. She became a spokesperson for Weight Watchers and has managed to lose some pounds since. For some reason though, Jessica's reputation never seemed to bounce back.

12 Hilary Duff

A far cry from the fresh-faced child star that stole hearts, Hilary Duff packed on about 50 pounds while pregnant with her first and only son named Luca. During and after her pregnancy, Hilary could not hide from the body shammers who were quick to point out Hilary's "thicker" frame. Hilary, on the other hand, was not phased by her post-baby body and gave herself one year to get her weight off as she wanted to focus on her son. The paparazzi caught Hilary going to and from the gym and it's clear she has since lost most of the pregnancy pounds, but her body is forever changed. “I’d rather be happy than bitter because I can’t eat anything good,” she said.

11 Mariah Carey

The raunchy, vivacious Mariah Carey gave her fans sleepless nights with her crooning voice. And even now, years later, she still does magic with that voice of hers. So it came as a surprise to the world when Mariah made headlines not for her voice or records, but for her post-pregnancy body. Mariah got pregnant and gave birth to twins, named Monroe and Moroccan, which already doesn't sound like an easy task, so it is safe to assume she had an even harder time bouncing back. But Hollywood's most infamous diva didn't seem too concerned with shedding the pounds. Mariah still parades around in public and on the red carpet in skin-tight dressed, short skirts, and high heels. As long as she thinks she's fabulous, that's all that matters.

10 Kelly Clarkson

Kelly Clarkson rose to fame after winning the first season of American Idol. Her striking voice combined with the millions of hearts she stole in a short span of time is no easy feat. The world loves Kelly, or so we thought. After giving birth to her son named Remington, Kelly made news for her obvious pregnancy weight gain. She looked unrecognizable in the eyes of her fans, and the media would let her know it again and again. Kelly would later address the haters. She stated, “There are just some people who are born skinny and with a great metabolism – that is not me.” Does that sound like an excuse? Perhaps. But if she's happy, nothing else matters.

9 Kate Hudson

Kate Hudson was born in 1979 and she rose to fame after starring in the movie 'Almost Famous,' which won her a Golden Globe award in 2000. My all-time favorite movie of hers is “How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days.” This one movie alone turned me into a diehard fan of hers, and we can assume it's the same for many of her other fans. During her first pregnancy, Kate ate as she pleased. She admitted that she ate cupcakes for breakfast and plenty of ice cream throughout the day. Her mother allegedly had to pry the spoon away from Kate to keep her from eating any more. This caused her to gain 60 pounds. She gave birth to her son in 2004. She was more careful about her diet when she had her second son in July 2011.

8 Kirstie Alley

She had miscarried her first baby and she says that pregnancy was what set her on the path to being so overweight. "When the baby was gone, I just didn’t really get over it. Neither did my body. I so thoroughly convinced my body that it was still pregnant after nine months that I had milk coming from my breasts. I was still fat, I was still grieving, and I had just been told it was very possible I would never be able to have children. Fat, childless, with little hope for any future children…that’s when I began to get fat."

Yes, I agree that is indeed tragic. But your life is not over. Mourn the loss. Grieve for months or even a couple of years. But unless you want to be miserable for the rest of your life, you need to get back on your feet and get running. Literally!

7 Amy Adams

Amy Lou Adams, born August 20, 1974, is an American actress, known for both her comedic and dramatic performances. She has won several awards including two Golden Globes. She is 2017s highest paid actress!

Well I don’t want to see you, dear Amy, in this fashion. The next time I spend money on tickets for your movie, I need to see the gorgeous, glamorous Amy, the dream of a million hearts. But it’s still a miracle on how she carries herself in this manner even at the age of forty three and counting.

Pregnancy has left its toll but we are sure, our love for her will get her up back to her own sweet self in time. Now, time is what we don’t have. Guess will have to start idolizing the next highest paid actress. I wonder who that could be.

6 Kate Middleton

Just absolutely and simply no way I can move the cursor ahead to blame you. Kate’s story is a fairytale (literally), or like rags to riches kind of inspiring story. But whatever it may be, we blindfolded love you for just who you are. Kate Middleton, The Duchess of Cambridge. I can already feel the goosebumps just, mentioning her name here. Respect guys, respect.

Thirty-six years old and just getting more and more gorgeous as days pass by. As we all can see, those excess baby weights are already on their way out, like they don’t feel at home there. Well, that’s royalty for us. Graceful is the only word that comes to my mind, whenever I mention her name. I, for one, am not at all complaining about that teeny, weenie, excess bulges, which I am sure will vanish in no time.

5 Beyonce

What does she do? Didn’t she have a single morsel of food after delivery? If ever in the history of mankind has someone jumped back to being the epitome of perfectness, then I guess it would be Beyonce.

She must be giving real sleepless nights to the rest of the brood above who still is facing failure in getting back into shape. Now those curves that she’s brought back looks more perfect than the ones she had years back. Three hundred and fifty million in her bank account and some of us might say, with that load of money anything is possible. But no. It is just sheer dedication from her part that has made this possible.

With a hundred plus million followers all over the world, it’s just got better for her. Guess her hubby is one hell of a lucky guy. Beyonce just raised the bar for getting back into shape after pregnancy for all celebs out there.

4 Nicole Kidman

Some are termed as celebs, and some are very righteously termed as Goddess. Nothing but the best. Ultimate, born to rule. Well, idioms and phrases are countless when it comes to Nicole Kidman. How, why, when, where, are the most immediate thoughts on my mind. This is one lady that I think God took a lot of time in creating. And that too with such amazing results.

Elegant, blonde and stunningly beautiful, Nicole Kidman is known as one of Hollywood's top Australian imports. She was actually born in Honolulu, Hawaii, as her Australian parents were there on educational visas. While starring as Tom Cruise's love interest in Days of Thunder (1990), she won over the Hollywood hunk hook, line and sinker. After a whirlwind courtship, they got married in December of the same year. They divorced in the year 2001.

Despite traumatic experiences with hubby Tom and Scientology, she still braved the odds and reigned supreme in this cut-throat world, this is some serious lady with balls. Not even a single non-American female, apart from Oprah, might have this kind of a fan following in the US. My queen of dreams.

3 Angelina Jolie

Angelina, the dream of a million hearts. Well known for her steamy roles, affairs and relationships! One of the few celebs who adopted children even though she had her own and is raising them perfectly well. Three sons and three daughters. That’s a load, but the story does not end there. She is a Goodwill ambassador too. She still is one of the most beautiful females alive on this earth. An end to the affair with Brad Pitt and still running strong like a Great Dane. Words seem to be too less when describing Jolie.

If I seriously start writing about her, it’s going to get more longer than most of the epic books available. So let’s just cut it real short and say “the most sensational women ‘. I still wonder how she maintains the drop dead gorgeous looks of hers. It never ceases to amaze me to watch her on screen. And my personal favourite being SALT.

2 Amy Poehler

It’s not all easy when you are an actress, voice artist, comedian, director, producer all combined into one. And then again, you have to juggle your family life, get babies and then get back into shape again. Wow. That is really one tall order. But to have it done well is a herculean task and Amy Poehler has got it all done the best way.

A really inspirational way of getting things in order. The willpower she has displayed is worthy of all the praises that can be showered upon her. Most ladies by the age of forty-six normally lose their looks and figure. But not our dear Amy. And with the kind of support Will is giving her, no doubt she was able to zoom all the way ahead. Amazingly great performance off-screen. Wish more ladies followed her cue and took better care of themselves.

1 Tamara Ecclestone

A model and a socialite at the same time? It's a deadly combination, but something which I really love.

Tamara Ecclestone has the fantasy life most can only dream of. Daughter of the former chief executive of the Formula One Group, Bernie Ecclestone, Tamara is a well-known television personality. She isn't afraid to admit that she spoils her daughter Sophia, who was born in March 2014. She said she finds it 'hard' not to give her little girl anything she wants.

Plenty of good curves for all in this picture to be fascinated about. Dreams are godly, but not when you get to know about a particular TV personality, who is more ravishing than Queen Cleopatra herself. I’m hereby issuing a lookout notice for this silent siren and declaring a big thanks to whomsoever who can get me a personal introduction to her.
