15 Biggest Babies That Couldn't Be Born Naturally

Having a baby is one of the greatest miracles a woman could experience. Pregnancy is a wonderful thing, but there are many side effects that most women have in common. Many women have morning sickness, feel sleepy, and of course, have many more trips to the bathroom. With all of the things women go through during pregnancy, it is still all worth it in the end when it is time to hold your precious bundle of joy. There is one thing that not too many pregnant moms have in common; not many women give birth to massively big babies.

The average size of a baby at birth is between 5 pounds, 8 ounces and 8 pounds, 13 ounces. Of course, there are women who give birth to 9 and 10 pound babies, but it is not as common. There are also rare occasions when babies are way bigger than usual.

One of the biggest babies ever to be recorded was a baby boy who weighed 22 pounds! It was reported that when his mother’s water broke, she lost about six gallons of fluid. Sadly, he did not make it.

There are rare occasions when women end up having babies who are bigger than average. Surprisingly, sometimes these women give birth naturally, but that is not always the case. There are many factors that can play a role for a baby becoming that big. The mother’s pregnancy weight can cause this rare occurrence. Diabetes can also play a major role in having a large baby.
