It's no secret that women are having babies in Hollywood just like they're having them here in the real world. Also, first-time moms are typically older than they were even a few decades ago. This is also the same in the real world like it is in Hollywood.

What is different between the two types of moms is that celebrity moms usually have an unlimited amount of resources from which to draw for things like fertility treatment, self-care, and even child-care. Nevertheless, we woman here in "Everyday Land" still manage to get buy.

What we don't have in common is the level of publicity. I know you have your regular gossips in your own city and state, but your business or what is allegedly your business is  probably not plastered all over the tabloids. This is where celebrities have to have thick skin...or awesome comebacks for the haters.

This post is about celebrity moms who had or are still having a hard time getting rid of the baby weight. This post is NOT a body-shaming post. Honestly, I can't think of a more disrespectful article to read for women who are beautiful, hard-working, kick a** moms (like you and me).

Yeah, we're in the same boat when it comes to people judging us for our bodies. It's all over the world. And here's the thing, these women in this post dealt with a lot of the same body-shaming and judgmental comments that we did...even being of a celebrity status.

So, we're going to dig a little deeper into what happened and how these celeb moms responded. Let's see how much you adore these celebs and see if you even noticed their extra weight.

Here we go!

15 Alyssa Milano

Alyssa Milano is one of the millions of women who aren't in any rush to lose their baby weight. She gave birth to her second child and says she giving herself 18 months to hit what she is calling her "happy weight."

Her happy weight is basically the weight where she feels happy about herself being healthy and attractive. She's not aiming to get back to her pre-pregnancy weight. Having babies at 43 years old gets a little rough, so she's got bigger goals that to look how she did before kids.

Unlike many other celebrities have claimed. Milano said that the pressure to lose all the baby weight in a rush actually didn't come from the industry. She put it on herself when she saw all the other celebrities lose their weight in a split-second. The happy mama said that kind of weight-loss just isn't in her genes. Slow and steady is her chosen route and we're all just going to have to deal with it!

14 Kelly Clarkson

The American Idol winner and mommy of daughter River Rose and son Remy has endured oodles and gobs of fat-shaming comments from just about everyone. Apparently, none of the haters have heard her song Stronger, have they?

One thing can be said of Kelly Clarkson, fat-shaming just DOES NOT work on her! Not only is she comfortable in her own skin, she shuts down the haters like the pro that she is.

Yes indeed, she is definitely still working on shedding her baby weight, but she's all good with her pace and her body.

One hater comeback from this mighty mama was, "That's because she doesn't know me. I'm awesome! It doesn't bother me. It's a free world. Say what you will. I've just never cared what people think. It's more if I'm happy and I'm confident and feeling good, that's always been my thing. And more so now, since having a family -- I don't seek out any other acceptance."

13 Pink

Are you surprised to find this feisty rocker on the list? Of course not! She's what we all want to be - confident, fearless, gorgeous, and ferociously putting all haters in their place when she feels like it.

Pink now has too kiddos with her hubby Carey Hart. Nope, she's not lost all her baby weight either. She still dresses like a hottie and goes full force supporting causes about which she's passionate.

After some haters critiqued her deep-V neck black gown, she had this to say, "You're referring to the pictures of me from last night's (Saturday) cancer benefit that I attended to support my dear friend Dr. Maggie DiNome," she responded. "She was given the Duke Award for her tireless efforts and stellar contributions to the eradication of cancer. But unfortunately, my weight seems much more important to some of you."

She added, "In fact, I feel beautiful. So, my good and concerned peoples, please don't worry about me. I'm not worried about me. And I'm not worried about you either. I am perfectly fine, perfectly happy, and my healthy, voluptuous and crazy strong body is having some much deserved time off."

12 Jennifer Garner

Jennifer Garner is Ben Affleck's ex-better half and one of my all time favorite celebrity moms. First off, Affleck is an idiot for ditching her like he did, but that's for another post. Secondly, I love that she is a really active in her kids life kind of mom.

In the world of a thousand nannies, both parents seem to be very hands-on (well, one of their hands was on the nanny...ugh, I can't get over it).

Anyway, after getting either asked or congratulated about a 4th baby, Garner was getting a little confused. She went on to find out that she had a "baby bump" and admitted to it on television.

Garner immediately clarified: "I am not pregnant, but I have had three kids and there is a bump. From now on ladies, I will have a bump. And it will be my baby bump. And let's just all settle in and get used to it. It's not going anywhere. I have a bump. Its name is Violet, Sam, Sera."

11 Drew Barrymore

She's everyone's favorite free-spirited Bohemiam. She's mother to young daughters Olive and Frankie. One of the celebrities who has been honest about her experience with postpartum depression, Drew Barrymore is still struggling to get her baby weight off.

Well, struggling might not exactly be the right word. She's letting her body take its time. She says, "It took nine months to build [each baby]. It should take nine months to get off." Postpartum, she added, "I wanted fettuccini alfredo. I didn't want a barbell."

She also said, "After making two babies, holy cow, does your body do some crazy stuff! It's hard to stay positive and love yourself. You feel like a kangaroo with a giant pouch; everything's saggy and weird. But you think about how beautiful it is that you're able to make children."

What does she do when she begins to worry about getting her figure back? "When I lose sight of [the important things], I exercise, read Dr. Seuss's Oh, the Places You'll Go!, and spend time with my kids. Then I start to see things that are bigger than myself."

10 Kristen Bell

Kristen Bell is another one of my favorite celebrity moms. The reason I'm so crazy about her is that she and husband Dax Shepard are pretty down-to-earth for being celebrities.

I mean, they went to marriage counseling before getting married so they didn't end up like most of their peers. They hate the paparazzi all up in their kids' business and fight it like crazy. Plus, they're just uber cool about goofy things like ugly Christmas sweaters and normal things like that.

Another great thing about Bell is that she's a Spanx wearer. Yep, her post-baby muffin top was all under control with a good pair of Spanx! She even admitted to it.

She also said that she is trying to lose her baby weight, but it's not keeping her up at night or becoming "the narrative of my life for the next year."

Another great comment from Bell, "Look, I'm like any other woman. All this evolved b.s. that I'm telling you is my mantra: It's not something I practice naturally. I had to surrender to not worrying about the way I looked, how much I weighed, because that's just part of the journey of having a baby. I am not a woman whose self-worth comes from her dress size."

9 Kourtney Kardashian

You know I can't write a celebrity list without including at least one Kardashian on it. So, this time it's one of my favorite Kardashians - Kourtney.

She may be spoiled and have different priorities than most people, but she's a mom at heart, even in the midst of all the Kardashian drama.

There as a situation where Kourtney was being photographed for a magazine cover just days after giving birth. They photoshopped her like crazy and she called them out for it.

"They doctored and Photoshopped my body to make it look like I have already lost all the weight, which I have not," she said. Then she tweeted, "And I gained 40 pounds while pregs, not 26...But thanks!"

As far as I can tell, she's looking pretty much like her pre-pregnancy self, but she definitely did not hide the fact that it took time.

8 Robyn Lawley

Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Robyn Lawley is not okay with people thinking a woman should have to "bounce back" right away after having a baby.

She defended her stance, "The expectation of coming back to who you were before within moments or months is just not going to happen unless you are a freak of nature. It does not happen like that. Your muscles have to come back together—my stomach muscles were separated and took nine months to come back."

She admitted to some nerve-wracking emotions about getting back in front of the camera after giving birth. Her priorities are straight. She works out with a trainer when she can, but otherwise she chooses to spend time with her young daughter. In fact, she says she's come to the point where her body might be different forever and that's fine with her.

7 Alanna Masterson

The Walking Dead star Alanna Masterson isn't just fighting zombies. She's fighting social media trolls, too. Some ill-advised shamers lashed out at her for her post-baby and breastfeeding body.

Bad idea! She'd had enough of the vitriol and struck back,  "Before you decide to make a comment about my chest being 'too large' or how 'fat' I've become, just know that this little girl got the best start to life."

She called the trolls "judgmental bullies" and explained, "I would've gladly continued to eat enough calories to produce milk for her little bones to grow."

She went on to write on a social media post, "P.S. I would LOVE to see any man or woman give birth to a baby, nurse the baby, and then work 17 hour days and NAIL their own stunts."

6 Anne Hathaway

The Oscar-winning beauty is on a winning streak! And I'm thinking it all started with having a really positive attitude about everything before the wins started coming in. This great attitude has sort of stuck around along with the baby weight, too.

A favorite social media post from Hathaway, "There is no shame in finally breaking down and making your own jean shorts because last summer’s are just too dang short for this summer’s thighs,” she wrote, adding, “Bodies change. Bodies grow. Bodies shrink. It’s all love (don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.)”

Hathaway also said, "I think shape is an ongoing thing in everybody's life. So, I'm not trying to recapture something that was. I'm going with what it is now. Some things I guess are the same as they were, and other things are a little bit different. I'm just so proud of what the changes signify. So, there's no rush to do anything. I'm so happy being here."

5 Eva Mendes

Eva Mendes seems to have it all - including some extra chub from her two baby girls. I bet no one has even noticed. With a good-looking partner like Ryan Gosling, an amazing career, and beauty beyond words, she doesn't exactly seem to be preoccupied with the extra weight.

She refused to fall to the pressures to snap back into shape post-baby. She said,  “I try to take care of myself as far as eating right and things like that, but especially so soon after a baby, I’m like, ‘It’s okay, I don’t need to fit into my jeans for a while, I’m all right.’’

She just made us all feel better and normal about not fitting into our pre-pregnancy jeans when she said, "Maybe if I never fit into my original jeans, it’s fine. It’s all good.”

Sometimes, there are just more important things than fitting in the "right" clothes...thanks for the reminder Eva!

4 Liv Tyler

Of course, the daughter of a rockstar isn't going to take any flack from Hollywood! Liv Tyler is Steven Tyler's (of Aerosmith) daughter. The Demon of Screamin' imparted some of his "stand up for yourself" attitude into this young lady.

She's known as being a very kind person and she practices self-kindness as well. In fact, this was her strategy of getting back into shape after the birth of her daughter. She said, "Just be kind to yourself. Everyone is different. Everyone's body is different, everyone's birth experience is different. Some people's body type is that they totally look normal right after [birth], and [for] others, it takes many months.”

I love that she really supports NOT worrying about getting back into shape the first few months after giving birth. Instead, she encourages women to focus on their health, and that of your baby, and bonding. The rest will follow.

3 Zooey Deschanel

New Girl star Zooey Deschanel has shared some refreshing thoughts about post-baby bodies since welcoming her first child with her husband Jacob Pechenik.

"To expect someone to look like her pre-baby self immediately is odd because you just grew a human and then birthed that human — there's a lot that needs to go back to where it was. All your organs move around, for Christ's sake!"

She always did have a way of putting things into perspective didn't she?

So many people want to see women, regular and celebrities alike have flat tummies right after giving birth. It's just not natural, sorry!

She's not exactly worried about getting back into her pre-pregnancy body. I don't blame her. Her big blue eyes and quirky personality can do the trick!

2 Zoe Saldana

Zoe Saldana is used to people chattering all about her weight. For a while, she was known (because of a magazine cover) as the actress who was "115 pounds of grit and heartache."

When she was pregnant with her twin boys, Saldana gained 70 pounds. She's been fairly open about her journey on social media. Revealing in a post that "bouncing back feel impossible," she sort of gave us all hope that NOT bouncing back was okay.

Here's her take on the whole "bouncing back" business.

"In some cases more than others, your body experiences a kind of trauma through childbirth that is difficult to explain unless you've had that experience. My case was like that, everything from my thyroid to my platelets crashed...Thank God, we are all doing great now, but my body was really bent out of shape after the boys were born. I am determined to get my energy back and find balance for my body before these little guys start walking, and before I go back to work."

1 Patricia Arquette

Medium star Patricia Arquette has already proven she is a very voluptuous and sexy women. Also, she's quite the feminist and frequently stands up for the rights of women in the United States.

When she was pregnant with her daughter, naturally she gained weight. As you know, that's sort of what happens when you grow another human. Well, her producers gave her a hard time over her body and suggested getting rid of any leftover baby chub before filming.

As you can imagine, she pitched a fit, "One of the producers said, 'Honey, you gotta do something about your weight' I said, 'Why? This [character] is a mother-of-three'. I'm sick of that image everywhere."
