Aging as a celebrity woman can be a tough pill to swallow. The struggle of getting longer in the tooth in Hollywood was portrayed recently in a spot-on skit on The Amy Schumer Show. The skit speaks to how women have a much quicker expiration date in terms of being able to qualify for leading roles in film and TV than their male counterparts, and how they can just give up trying once they've reached their last sexually attractive day.

Balancing the responsibilities of a mother, trying to set the right example in terms of body image and a healthy attitude towards aging would be like walking a tight rope as a celeb mom. It would likely come down to a 'do as I say, not as I do' approach to parenting, which is problematic at best.

While knowledge of male body image and anti-aging obsession is on the rise, the pressure remains overwhelming for a woman in the biz to keep both her face and her body tight. Many of these women have decided to take the reins in terms of remaining ageless in the hope that the fountain of youth that is plastic surgery will help keep them sought after and relevant. These are 15 celebrity moms who have spent much more than a pretty penny on changing their faces.

15 Courtney Cox

Courtney Cox has been in the spotlight for decades, particularly after landing her life changing role as the neurotic but lovable Monica Geller. Ever on the small screen, and faced with the pressures of high definition photography, Cox decided that facial enhancement was her best bet, and began loading up on syringe after syringe of facial fillers, for years which generally cost around $500-$600 each. Unfortunately, she went overboard, and people haven't been kind about the results of her facial fillers. Cox has said, “I think I was trying to keep up with getting older, trying to chase that … it's something you can't keep up with. I have done things that I regret, and luckily they're things that dissolve and go away. So, um, that's good, because it's not always been my best look.”

14 Tori Spelling

While Tori Spelling has been an open book when it comes to her breast implants, and how she regretted that decision, she's been quiet about other work over the years. The mother of five may be trying to set a body positive example for her kids, but the press has been fast to call her out on her changing face. Some speculated that the star turned to plastic surgery to help boost her esteem after her husband was unfaithful. Fans and surgeons have surmised that Spelling has gone under the knife for a nose job as well as several face lifts, and fillers. In 2016, she posted (and quickly deleted) a photo to social media with her and a well-known plastic surgeon which led people to figure she was at it again.

13 Kate Gosselin

The best plastic surgeons don't leave a trace. Kate Gosselin fervently denies that she's had any surgery beyond a tummy tuck, although it was repeatedly reported that she'd had a breast enhancement in 2009. Gosselin who has notable money issues says, "I am probably one of the rare few who de-age." She has denied using Botox but a dermatologist told US Weekly that he suspects surgery and some botched Botox giving her, "a devilish appearance…This is likely a bad injection technique with poor placement." Many say her skin looks tighter than it did a few years ago with people suggesting a repeated combination of Botox and face lifts, and a nose job, have stretched the skin. A mini facial lift alone would cost 10 to 30 thousand dollars a pop, $7,500 for rhinoplasty, and thousands for bi-annual Botox.

12 Pamela Anderson

Pam is open about her feelings on surgical enhancement saying, ”I'm not against plastic surgery, what I've had done will stay with me and that's fine, but I don't want anything else.", but people don't think this means she has stopped. Recently it was noted that the star seemingly had all of her wrinkles erased overnight. Plastic Surgeon Dr. Joffily has said, "After looking at pictures of Pamela, I can see many signs of surgery she's possibly had done. Looking at the side of her face, there were fine lines and creases beforehand but nothing now. This could suggest a mini facelift procedure." He also suggested she'd had some volumisation, which can run 2-4K for fat transfer to the cheeks at around 20K a year.

11 Sharon Osbourne

Sharon Osbourne is happy to boldly provide an itemized list and cost for all of the work she's had completed over the years. Sharon has told The Daily Mail that there's very little on her body that hasn't been, "tweaked, stretched, peeled, lasered, veneered, enhanced or removed altogether." It's been reported that the outspoken talk show host and wife of aging rocker Ozzy Osbourne has spent close to $200K in plastic surgery to date. In 2013, Sharon said that she was putting pause on surgical procedures for a little while, however, she could be persuaded to do it again. We wonder if Ozzy's public infidelity with his hair stylist might have been enough to tip that scale over the edge.

10 Joan Rivers

After her death, Melisa Rivers, Joan Rivers' daughter went public on just how often her mother turned to surgery. In the memoir, The Book of Joan: Tales of Mirth, Mischief and Manipulation, Melissa revealed that Rivers went under the knife 348 times and shared her mom was never happy with her looks. Melissa is aware that her mother's death could have happened to anyone going under the knife, but unprofessionalism in the business was a factor. Dr. Mayer is a surgeon who says he doesn't want to be known as one of those doctors who will operate on anyone saying, “I have to be careful how I advertise, and so I turn people down. Of course, someone like Michael Jackson will always get someone to operate on him.”

9 Meg Ryan

Meg Ryan was once the queen of feel-good Rom-coms and an American Sweetheart with her appealing 'pretty girl next door looks'. But time passed, and she stepped out of the public's eye and began to focus her time on raising a family. Because of her absence for some time, people were shocked when Meg Ryan showed up on the red carpet in 2013 looking very different. It was apparent that it wasn't time that had changed Ryan, it was surgery. People commented how smooth and line-free her skin looked at 51 years old, and began to snicker about the larger than life lips that were suspected to be caused by an allergic reaction to implants (where generally each lip costs around 3K).

8 Janet Jackson

Michael Jackson was the most famous in the family for his love of plastic surgery. Sister Janet isn't far behind her brother in terms of her keenness to change her looks through surgery. In 2014, Jackson was spotted with a much smaller nose. Plastic Surgeon Dr. Schulman gave an opinion on the recent changes to the singer's nose saying, "It appears that there is some nasal collapse and some retraction of the nostrils. This may be the result of multiple previous surgical procedures that has caused injury to the underlying cartilage support of the nose.” Jackson had her first nose job at 16 and hasn't denied the idea of going under the knife again. Now that she's a mom, she might be looking for a surgical solution to the impact sleepless nights have on a parent's skin.

7 Demi Moore

Demi Moore has been praised for her beauty for a long time, starting her career when she was in her teens.  When she was dating Ashton Kutcher, people often commented on their age difference.  This along with the pressures to stay young and beautiful have clearly been impactful to the Hollywood mother.  It's been reported that Moore has had a ton of work done on her face in addition to breast implants, liposuction, and work to correct knees that she felt were sagging and that this work has cost around $400,000.  This amount is especially pricey considering Moore hasn't even been working much in recent years.  When was the last time she was in a blockbuster movie?  Let's hope she's saving at least some of her money.

6 Madonna

Madonna works hard to stay fit and look great decade after decade. Clean eating and yoga isn't the only thing responsible for her smooth and wrinkle free skin. A Facial Aesthetic Doctor, Dr. Douglas suspects Madonna has been using Botox saying, “Her frown, forehead and crows’ feet appear suspiciously smooth and she is without any of the lines you would naturally expect in a 52-year-old woman. She also shows signs of having had a face lift with some volume restoration at the same time, perhaps using collagen replacer or fat transfer." While clearly all of these procedures would have cost a lot of money, and Madge denies them, stars like Sharon Osbourne have accused her of having "pillow face" from overdoing the fat injections.

5 Cher

Cher will only admit to having gone under the knife for breast augmentation and a nose job, but experts believe that Cher is a big fan of cosmetic surgery - how else could she look so amazing year after year? It's almost laughable that she still won't admit it. Many estimate that mom to grown children Chaz and Elijah has spent as much as $750,000 on keeping young. Cher has said of fame, becoming old and becoming extinct are one and the same thing.” Cher is now 71 years old and doesn't look a day over 50. Our guess is that she continues to protect her investment very closely and plans to continue to do so well into her octogenarian years.

4 Lil Kim

Rapper Lil' Kim looks so different from when she first became famous in the 1990's that most people wouldn't even recognize her. Many fans have gone so far as to share with Lil' Kim that they wish she'd stop with the endless plastic surgery. You have to wonder what she tells her own daughter, Royal Reign, about being your own self, beauty and aging. It's been reported that "Lady Marmalade" has spent around 20K on procedures including skin bleaching, nose jobs, and changes to the appearance of her cheekbones. Others worry that Nicki Minaj, who is following in Kim's footsteps for the next generation of female rappers, is also spending her money on similar enhancements and procedures.

3 Goldie Hawn

Goldie Hawn is a beautiful woman. There's no doubting that. Her children are also some of the most beautiful stars in Hollywood. Goldie Hawn is one of the more honest celebs when it comes to getting work done and has never outright denied anything. Many suspect that Hawn had some recent work in 2017 to enhance her youthful glow. Plastic Surgeon Dr. Hamway has shared his thoughts on the matter saying, "Goldie appears like she may have had a face lift and fillers. Her flawless skin is probably due to regular maintenance with laser or chemical peels." Another Surgeon Dr. Miller said, "She has certainly had fillers in her cheeks and under her eyes. She probably has had at least a mini face lift at some point, and that was performed well."

2 Melanie Griffith

Melanie Griffith has been fairly outspoken about some of her regrets. Too much plastic surgery is one of the items she feels she enjoyed in excess. The star has gone on record saying, "No, I didn't (realize I'd had too much work done) until people started saying. ’Oh my god, what has she done?! I was so hurt I went to a different doctor and he started dissolving all of this s--t that this other woman doctor had put in." Griffith hopes that today she's looking more normal and like herself now that she's embracing a more natural look. The mother of three, including actor daughter Dakota Johnson, is now 59 and seems to have a healthier attitude about her looks and past addiction issues.

1 Kris Jenner

The Queen Bee of the Kardashian family knows how important branding and image is. No wonder she's suspected of being one of the most spend-happy moms when it comes to her plastic surgery habits. Jenner has had a facelift, had fillers placed, and had breast augmentation. There is a huge discrepancy between what some people are reporting Jenner has spent on these procedures, with many reporting approximately 70K, while her own sister told UK's Daily Mail that the bill for these procedures is closer to the million dollar mark. We have to wonder if the entire family uses the same doctors, and whether or not they're able to claim a group discount since so many of them are having work done.
