Often times we assume that the rich and famous live a life of excess and wealth that we mortals can only dream of. How many times have we heard about little Blue Ivy's kicking wardrobe or the mini closet that belongs to the stylish Kardashian kids? The answer is a lot. Hanging out with Kristen Bell while browsing the clearance racks at Target is now our new dream.

15 Jennie Garth

On television, actress Jennie Garth is best known for portraying the wealthy California girl, Kelly Taylor, on the mega-popular show Beverly Hills 90210, but her roots are very country and very modest. Jennie was raised on a Midwestern farm in Illinois, far from the sunny shores of California. While she did move out west to peruse her dream of acting, her small town mentality has always stayed with her and steered her path. This mother of three daughters revealed in an Access Hollywood interview that when a new school year rolls around, she doesn't simply go out and throw down tons of cash on her kids' wardrobe. Basketball hot shot LeBron James will be the first to admit that he is a complete and utter spendthrift. LeBron is worth around one BILLION dollars. Not million...billion with a "B." The guy could practically buy a gold-plated rocket ship if he wanted to, but considering how he likes to save his dough we are guessing that won't be happening anytime soon. He refuses to use his cell phone if the WIFI isn't connected and won't take the chance of being charged for roaming service. Furthermore, he refuses to buy any upgraded apps. The guy still uses the Pandora app with the commercials included.  He won't pay the extra five bucks a month to listen to his jams without interruptions. Even I will spring for that. Commercials are the worst.

This flamboyant and talented musician has certainly adopted an all-new perspective on life after becoming a family man and father to sons Elijah and Zachary. While the Benny and the Jets singer won't be leaving his honking four hundred million dollar fortune to the boys, he will make sure they are financially stable, whatever that means. Just because you are rubbing elbows with a multimillionaire doesn't mean that you will be getting tipsy on his dollar apparently.

In Hollywood one never quite knows when the gravy train is going to come to a screeching halt, so Deschanel is always careful not to squander her earnings. For a starlet who is worth fifteen million smack-a-roos, she certainly doesn't live like a millionaire, not by a long shot. For starters, Zooey has three credit cards to her name, but you won't find a balance on them. She makes sure to pay them off monthly. She spends roughly two grand on clothes, three hundred bucks on internet and phone services and eight hundred bucks on utilities. That's downright cheap by Hollywood standards.

Sarah Jessica Parker comes from humble, if not impoverished, Midwestern beginnings and we wonder if her past is a contributing factor to her penny-pinching ways. Parker's childhood was a tough one and her family struggled to make ends meet. In fact, they spent some time on welfare just to survive. Now that Parker is worth a whopping ninety million dollars you would think she could put those hard knocks behind her and enjoy a bit of luxury, but that isn't so. Bell is one of the leading voices behind Disney's most successful animated film, but the Frozen star isn't burning through her hard earned cash, not even close. While Kristen could easily sport any designer look she wanted down the runway, this straightforward mama rocked the red carpet in a frock that she bought from good old Target. Seriously, this girl is everything. Bell also once spotted a used mattress on the side of the road and snagged it up. One person's trash was Kristen's treasure.
