When it comes to a pregnant woman and her cravings nothing is a surprise. From pickles to ice-cream or fried eggs garnished with mint sauce, these are just some of the strange foods craved by expectant moms.

As mothers to be, we’ve all been there. We experienced it first hand. The wacky, weird, and not always healthy pregnancy cravings. I have heard of some of the strangest cravings a pregnant woman could have. My friends craved tuna mixed with banana, and fried potatoes dipped in ice-cream. And there are pregnant women who experience these cravings even at the most unexpected times of the night. I remember I just wanted strawberries, and soda drinks. And this happened sometimes at almost midnight when the nearest stores were closed. But my husband always figured out a solution to help my desires.

I know I’m not alone in this pregnancy cravings journey. There are so many of us, mothers to be, that have these strange food desires. And among us there are also some other expectant mothers that experience these food-related pregnancy symptoms. I’m talking about the pregnant celebrities. The A-listers are also lusting after the same weird dishes we do, and they are just like us. Here are what famous Hollywood mothers craved for during their pregnancies.

15 The Classic New York Bagel

When I talk about the eldest of the Kardashian sisters, I don’t even know where to begin. She has three kids, so we’re talking about a lot of pregnancy cravings here.

When she was pregnant with her first child, Mason, she confessed of craving waffles with butter and syrup, and a relish and mayo sandwich. Now, that’s a weird combination.

While pregnant with son Reign Aston, the reality star had a craving almost every day for New York bagels. The bagels were on her plate almost every dinner, together with cream cheese and jelly. She also confessed that the bagels were good to eat when she was nauseous. That a good tip for a pregnant lady.

She also craved for cookies, cheese and pickle sandwiches, and spicy dips. I also had some of these cravings.

14 Home Cooked Cure

Double the kids, double the cravings, right? Her needs to indulge on cherry-flavored Slurpees made her hubby, Nick Cannon, become a 7-Eleven regular customer while she was pregnant with twins, Moroccan and Monroe.

The singer had also midnight cravings for candied apples, and as they couldn’t find any open stores at 2 a.m., they made them at home. Actually, during her pregnancy, delicious home-cooked meals were a regular thing for Mariah. From pork chops, to collard greens, or pecan pie, Mariah was cooking in the kitchen all that she craved for. Nick must have been so happy to be treated this way almost every day. He confessed that after cooking all the tasty meals the one that ends up eating them is him, instead of Mariah. After she cooks them, the cravings seem to go away. Lucky you, Mariah!

13 Italian Decadence

For Amal and George Clooney the clock is ticking. They are expecting twins, one boy and one girl, and they only have one more month before meeting their children.

Amal is due to give birth this summer and she too is experiencing some pregnancy cravings. She’s been craving pasta and risotto with white truffles, and her husband was seen with her at restaurants indulging right along with her. I love Italian food, but mostly pasta, so I would also indulge some pasta along with her. And I also heard that white truffle risotto is simply divine. It’s a good idea for a family dinner. Only when I think about it I start to have some cravings. Which makes me wonder, ‘Am I pregnant?’ I should get a pregnancy test, just to be sure.

12 Served Cold Please

Adam Levine, Behati’s husband, told the audience on The Tonight Show what his wife craves for while being pregnant. Behati has a healthy craving, in fact. She has a special desire of eating watermelons. And not just a piece or a slice, but a lot of watermelons. For breakfast, lunch and dinner.

If you think about it, it’s not such a bad and strange craving. Watermelons are so healthy for our bodies and have so many beneficial properties. It helps you stay hydrated, it boosts the body’s immune system, and soothes morning sickness. It’s actually the perfect craving. I think all of us should indulge in such cravings from time to time, even if we’re not pregnant.

Adam revealed that the model also had desires for ice-cream, and that he doesn’t let her indulge on her cravings all by herself.

11 With Some Sugar On Top

When the duchess was pregnant in 2015 she craved anything sweet. From biscuits, and cupcakes to raspberry ice cream, the royal kitchen had to have them all. It’s like, when you’re in a candy store, you have to take them all.

Apparently she gets this sweet craving from her mother, Carole, who, when she was pregnant with Kate and her sister, she indulged in every sweet she could find.

The duchess also had another pregnancy craving, and that is vegetarian curry. A combination of something sweet and something hot. Strange combination. But that just means she’s just like us. Haven’t you ever indulged in a mix of sweet and hot foods when you were pregnant? A lot of soon to be mamas crave for ice cream with ketchup. Being pregnant it’s not odd at all.

10 The Stereotype

I remember the days when I did nothing else but just relax on the sofa, and watch my favorite TV-show, Gossip Girl. Yes, that was the time when I was pregnant, and had enough time to chill. My favorite character was Serena. I was seeing myself in her then, and now I see myself in the actress Blake Lively, who just like me, had weird pregnancy cravings: pickles and ice cream.

But the A-list actress didn’t crave any pickles or any type of ice cream. Apparently hubby Ryan Reynolds had to buy for her, in the middle of the night, organic hand-churned pumpkin-flavored ice cream and small-batch pickles. I bet he had to search through some stores to make her happy.

I think some of you can relate to Blake’s cravings. Didn’t you desire the same sweet and salty kind of mix?

9 Sweet And Savoury All At Once

Saldana gave birth to beautiful twin boys, Cy Aridio and Bowie Ezio, on November 27, 2014. But while pregnant with the twins she had some strange food cravings, and you’re never gonna guess what. Or maybe you will, because you’ve had the same cravings. She loved eating baked goods and preserved meats. And not just like that, but together as a complete meal.

She confessed that pregnancy was her excuse to indulge in whatever she wanted. And even if normally she wouldn’t put her mouth on a burger, while pregnant she indulged in all she could possibly want. Pickles, donuts, burgers, you name it.

Even if Zoe looks so out-of-our-world on the red carpet, when at home and pregnant she’s just like us. She had the same pregnancy symptoms as we all do. Isn’t that cool?

8 Roasted... Fruit?

The famous singer, Alicia Keys, had some different cravings while being pregnant with her second child, son Genesis Ali Dean, born on December 27, 2014. She confessed that she craved some weird foods, like roasted fruits.

You’re probably wondering what is that, and how do you prepare a roasted fruit? Well, Alicia has got it all figured out. You take the cherries or a banana, and you put it on a panini grill. The fruit sits there until is well roasted on each side, and voila. It’s done. It’s super easy and tasty. Maybe I should try it, too.

Alicia had another odd thing she craved, and that is a root beer float. Even if she never had a root beer float, she craved for it, so that was completely weird.

7 Just Put Ketchup On It

Beyonce is now pregnant with twins, and she already has a beautiful little girl, Blue Ivy. While she was pregnant for the first time she badly wanted to eat everything with tomato ketchup. And I mean everything. She had even eaten bananas with ketchup, and ice cream with ketchup. She loved the sweetness of the ice cream combined with the sweetness and saltiness of tomatoes.

Another craving Beyonce had during her first pregnancy was croissants with melted Dime bars inside, snacks covered in hot chili sauce, and ginger beer. So her pregnancy isn’t unlike any other moms-to-be.

Being pregnant with twins is completely different than her pregnancy with Blue Ivy. This means she could double her cravings. What will this celebrity crave? I bet she will crave for ketchup again, maybe some sweet potatoes and some jalapenos, based on her favorite foods and previous cravings.

6 Bringin' It Back To Childhood

Do you remember that episode on her Newlyweds TV-show when she confused tuna with chicken? I would’ve expected that tuna was one of her desired foods during her pregnancy with daughter Maxwell Drew. But no.

Jessica’s cravings were cantaloupe, salt, and Pop Tarts with butter on top. Indulging in her favorite childhood foods was one of the best things of pregnancy for this star. She also craved for macaroni and cheese and Cap'n Crunch cereal. Everything filled with sugar worked for this mama to be. She also used pregnancy as an excuse to indulge in sweets.

We did all see how those cravings affected her body, but she dropped all the extra baby weight in no time, sticking to her weight-loss plan after giving birth. Good for you, girl!

5 This One's Not Even A Food

Victoria Beckham is another A-lister who had so many pregnancies, that we think she indulged in so many foods.

After already having three boys, during her fourth pregnancy, one of her cravings was eating layers and layers of marmalade on toast and drinking a lot of English breakfast tea. This is what I eat every morning, and I don’t have to be pregnant.

She did have some weird cravings while being pregnant with her kids, and they weren’t related to food. For some reason, she had a need for a pet. She talked with David about having a cat, but he didn’t agree. He did agree though to a new dog, Scarlett.

The celebrity did also have some normal cravings during her previous pregnancies, like smoked salmon, pickled onions, and energy drinks.

4 The One Thing She Couldn't Have

When you’ve been through many pregnancies, you’re expected to have experienced a lot of cravings. Some of your cravings may be normal, and some not.

During Tori’s pregnancy with her second child, Stella, she craved rocky road ice cream and avocados. A sweet craving and a healthy craving. Not bad.

Throughout her third pregnancy, she craved something tasty that you’re not allowed to eat while being pregnant, sushi. Do you know how hard it is to crave something and know you just can’t eat it? I know how it is, because I also craved strawberries while breastfeeding my baby, and it’s one of the foods to avoid while breastfeeding. Tori couldn’t wait to indulge in a plate full of sushi once she gave birth.

During her fifth pregnancy she craved donuts, especially buttermilk donuts. Ladies, who wants a donut?

3 Just Anything

During her pregnancy with her first child, Sadie, Christina confessed her cravings. Wondering what they are? Pizza and avocados. But not just simple avocados. The actress used to eat them with salt, and a drizzle of good olive oil. A lot of women crave avocados during pregnancy because it is a fruit with a lot of fat, which our bodies need, especially when carrying a life inside.

She also said she had a craving for food in general, any food. Another craving she felt during her pregnancy was pancakes with ketchup. Does it sound familiar? I am sure there are a lot of mamas-to-be that crave sweet desserts topped with ketchup, just like Christina does.

The Samantha Who? actress has been having these craving at unconventional hours since she found out she was expecting.

2 Different Pregnancies, Different Cravings

When Jennifer was pregnant with little Seraphina she had all types of cravings. Most of the time she didn’t have any new pregnancy-related cravings. She confessed she loves chocolate and ice cream whether she is pregnant or not, but during her pregnancy she wanted them even more. Her hubby, Ben Affleck, had to get her these sweets day and night. She did have some other cravings, such as donuts and pineapple.

While expecting her third baby, Jennifer had a different set of cravings, like tasty junk food treats, cookies, cheeseburgers and cheese puffs. These are all something a normal pregnant woman would be indulging on, which just shows us how normal Jennifer is. I’m sure that if you’d be pregnant you would want to indulge in a tasty junk food treat right now, or maybe in a crispy doughnut.

1 Mixin' It Up

Have you ever tried to eat onion rings dunked in mustard? Well, this is what Angelina Jolie was craving during her pregnancy with twins Knox and Vivienne in 2008. And she was not eating just that. She would eat the onion rings together with a box of chocolate. All on the same plate, combining the two different flavors. Now, that seems like a weird pregnancy craving, but I think it’s not. It’s pretty common actually.

She also loved dark chocolate and cinnamon mixed with Mexican chilies. It’s all about mixing the flavors when you’re pregnant, isn’t it? The instant need of something sweet mixed with something chili and hot, or salty. Do you see yourself in this? I bet you had the same types of cravings at some point of your pregnancy, just like Angelina did.
