Pregnancy is no walk in the park. Let's face it, growing a human being is a very taxing affair, and while it can affect an entire family, it affects the mom the most!

While some very luck women have pregnancies that have no side effects, there are definitely others who have a rough go almost from the minute the test comes back positive.

Women who are pregnant have to deal with everything from morning sickness to swelling to various aches and pains that we wouldn't wish on our worst enemy. There's food aversions and sleeping issues and constipation too to help round out all the really fun things pregnant women need to endure.

We may think that celebrities have it easy when they get pregnant simply because they have the money to afford the best treatment, but that isn't the case. Celebrities really are just like us when it comes to having babies, and some of them have a harder time than others.

Here are 15 celebs who are definitely having a rough time already this year with their pregnancies.

14 Khloe Kardashian Has To Take Supplements

Khloe Kardashian recently opened up about her struggles with her pregnancy, especially during her first trimester.

The reality star admitted she was dealing with low levels of progesterone and had to take supplements daily, causing her a lot of discomfort in the vulva area!

"Literally, I can’t walk," Khloe explained to her sisters during an episode of their reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians. "I just feel sick every night. I feel gross."

Thankfully her progestone levels are no longer an issue, but the mom to-be recently reacted to the news that she was having a girl, not a boy as she felt she was, with a serious lack of excitement.

“When you have your mind made up as to what you’re having… everyone told me you’re going to feel what you’re having and you’ll just kind of know,” Khloé said on her show. “And then when you find out it’s the complete opposite, it’s just a shock.”

“I just was convinced that I was having a boy, so to be having a girl it’s just like, ‘Okay that wasn’t what I thought was going on,’ ” she added.

Fortunately for Khloe she seems to be healthy and excited to be welcoming a daughter!

13 Jessie James Decker's Non-Stop Bladder

Country singer Decker is currently expecting her third child with husband Eric Decker and this time around she's expecting a boy. The singer has had no problem revealing her pregnancy issues with her fans and followers on Instagram, proving that pregnancy definitely comes with its share of challenges.

"30 weeks today!! So excited to meet this little boy. My belly is so low this time and sleeping is getting very uncomfortable. I have to pee every 30 minutes no joke!! " she wrote in one update.

"36 weeks and some change... and beyond uncomfortable! This baby feels so low and my bladder has about had enough! Ha! Sleeping is just not even a thing anymore lol," she wrote in her most recent update.

We can all relate to you Jessie, and hopefully you're able to get some sleep in these last few weeks!

12 Kate Middleton Struggles With Morning Sickness

The Duchess of Cornwall may be royalty but that doesn't mean she isn't suffering while she's pregnant. Kate Middleton has famously experienced hyperemesis gravidarum, a medical condition characterized by severe nausea, vomiting, weight loss and dehydration.

To make matters worse, this is the third time Middleton has had to endure this condition. Unfortunately for Middleton she can't simply sit at home and watch Bravo shows all day either, which is what most of us would prefer to do. Like thousands of other women who suffer from the extreme sickness, Middleton has work to do. Sadly her work is often in the public eye and doesn't allow for a lot of sick time.

Thankfully Middleton seems to prioritize her health and has taken time from her Royal engagements when she needs a break.

11 Ayesha Curry Is Always Tired

Ayesha Curry is already the mom to two little girls and recently she revealed she and NBA star husband Steph Curry would be welcoming a third child to the family. Unfortunately for the celebrity chef and cookbook author, it seems this third pregnancy is her hardest as she revealed in a blog post that she is suffering from hyeremesis gradium.

“While I’m sure this could change any day now I️ really feel no different than I️ did in my first trimester,” writes Curry, “I still have nausea, can’t sleep, pee every five seconds and am just so darn tired.”

“I️ have what docs call Hyperemesis. This basically means the nausea, incessant sickness and exhaustion probably won’t go away.” she wrote.

“This is my third pregnancy and I’ve gotta tell ya, this one has topped the cake when it comes to being tough and exhausting. I️ simply cannot wait to have this baby and feel like ‘myself again.’ ”

Here's hoping that the rest of the pregnancy isn't quite so rough for Curry.

10 Chrissy Teigen's Baby Is 'Taking Her Health'

Model Chrissy Teigen has been open in the past about her struggles with fertility and how she and husband John Legend used IVF to conceive daughter Luna and the son they're currently expecting. And it seems this pregnancy hasn't been easy on the model either.

Teigen, showcasing her trademark humor, took to Twitter to rant about how her unborn baby is literally 'sucking the life' out of her, and anyone who has ever been pregnant could relate.

“This baby is sucking the life from me. Drinking my water, making me dry. Eating my food, making me hungry. Taking my health, making me sick,” before joking, “Why do we create these monsters they want us dead?”

Thankfully Teigen's husband, John Legend is there to step up when Teigen isn't feeling her best. She told US Weekly her husband has been 'so good'

to her. “I’m not necessarily in the mood to cook these elaborate dinners right now … I’m kind of tired and pregnant … he really loves to cook, like, he really takes over.”

Here's hoping the rest of Teigen's pregnancy is smooth sailing!

9 Joanna Gaines Has Her Hands Full

Chip and Joanna Gaines are some of our most favourite couples from television, but anyone who has ever watched Fixer Upper knows that Joanna needs to have the patience of a saint with husband Chip sometimes.

The couple, who are already parents to four kids are expecting baby #5 this year, and they chose to end their hit HGTV show to focus more on their family.

"We were doing this before the show, and... we really care that it feels authentic, that when you see it, it's truly that we do what we love. And I think with our kids getting older and time going away -- where is the time going? -- I think a year longer, maybe we would've lost some of that passion," she told Entertainment Tonight. "And I never want to show up and act. We really want to truly love it and be passionate about it. But if we know our kids are at home going. 'Hey, we really want this or that,' I think that would be hard for us to stomach."

And while Joanna seemed to want to keep their pregnancy plans a secret, Chip was the opposite. He was constantly dropping hints that the couple was looking to expand their family while Joanna would dismiss his statements as 'hopes and dreams.'

Looks like Joanna has her hands full not only with her four kids but also her husband during this pregnancy.

We seriously hope they return to television after their baby is born so we can get more of their awesome home design and renovation inspiration.

8 Ali Fedotowsky - Eating For 2

Former Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky has had a rough second pregnancy. The reality star, who is already mom to 1 year old daughter Molly, is expecting a boy with husband Kevin Manno, but her pregnancy hasn't been easy.

She suffered some pretty scary pregnancy complications at 26 weeks caused by severe dehydration, and although that is no longer an issue, she's still experiencing a rough go.

"No, I'm not ready at all. I'm in a lot of pain this time." Fedotowsky told Entertainment Tonight during an interview. She also told Yahoo that her doctors are telling her she may just be eating too much, which is not what any pregnant woman wants to hear!

"Yeah, it's different this time. The doctor legit told me to stop eating so much. I'm not even kidding you. The doctor was like, 'How much weight have you gained?' I was like, '25 pounds.' I was 27 weeks, this was just a week ago. And she's like, 'So maybe you shouldn't eat quite as much as you've been eating.'"

Ouch! That's rough!

7 Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson And Lauren Hashian

Dwayne Johnson and his longtime love Lauren Hasian announced the happy news they would be welcoming another daughter to their family just before Christmas. While Hashian has been quiet about her pregnancy, life with a toddler tends to throw you some curve balls sometimes.

The couple are parents to two year old daughter Jasmine and recently they dealt with a health scare that sent little Jasmine to the hospital.

“This past Saturday night something happened to me and my family that I would never want to happen to any of your guys out there,” he said. “Of course, emergencies do happen. We were up all night in the emergency room, we had something scary that happened to our little baby girl Jasmine — she’s okay now! — thank God,” Johnson posted on his Instagram.

That's a lot of stress for any parent, but worse when you're pregnant! Hashian joked when she was pregnant with Jasmine that she feared for how big her baby was going to be, hashtagging her announcement picture, #LetsJustHopeBigDaddyDoesnt=20lbBaby"

Let's also hope the rest of Hashian's pregnancy is stress free!

6 Amber Portwood's Struggle With Medication

Teen Mom OG star Amber Portwood caused many jaws to drop when she revealed that she was pregnant with her very new boyfriend Andrew Glennon. It seemed that Portwood had met Glennon just a hot minute after she and long time boyfriend Matt Baier broke up, but that wasn't what concerned a lot of people.

Portwood had previously stated she wouldn't have any more children because of the medication she is on for her bipolar disorder. She spoke to one of her producers on Teen Mom OG about her concerns.

“I just got re-diagnosed for borderline personality and bipolar disorder, and I’ve been taking three medications now that I need to take for the rest of my life,” she said. “I can’t, I can’t get pregnant on this medication.”

She went on to say that while she could conceive, her medication “would mess up the fetus.” “If I do not have medication, I will not be normal,” she said. “I would have … crazy mood swings.”

Fortunately Portwood seems to be happy and healthy during her pregnancy and we all can't wait to see her little guy when he arrives.

5 Catherine Lowe's Unplanned Pregnancy

Catherine Lowe, one of those rare Bachelor success stories, is currently expecting baby #2 with her husband Sean Lowe. The couple share 16 month old son Samuel and the reality star admits her second pregnancy, like her first was unplanned. In fact, Lowe has been working really hard on her fitness and admits her post baby body looked 'so good'.

Lowe spoke to Entertainment Tonight about her surprise pregnancy.

"I mean, I looked really good right before Samuel was born, and we were both looking good, so, you know, what happens, happens," she confessed. "There was no planning involved [for our second child], so [that's] probably exactly what had happened."

"It's probably good that it was a surprise, because I probably would have been like, 'I don't know, my body looks so good.'"

Something tells me she'll be able to get her amazing body back after this baby too!

4 Meghan King Edmonds Fought Hard To Have Kids

Former reality star Meghan King Edmonds has made no secret of her fertility struggles and her journey with IVF to conceive. The former Real Housewives of Orange County star is mom to a daughter named Aspen, who was conceived using IVF and recently revealed that she and husband Jim Edmonds are now expecting twin sons.

While Edmonds admits that this current round of IVF and her current pregnancy are easier, she did quit the RHOC due to the stress and pressure of filming. Now she is happily expecting twin boys and admits that while she isn't feeling the greatest, it will all be worth it. Best of luck Edmonds, we can't wait to meet your twins.

3 Katy Mixon - The Big Surprise

Katy Mixon not only plays our favourite housewife on television in the hit ABC show American Housewife, but she's been quickly getting real life practice about being a mom now that she's pregnant with baby #2!

Mixon and her fiance just welcomed their first child, a son, in May 2017 and just 6 months later she announced that she was pregnant again, this time with a daughter.

The actress revealed to Access Hollywood the pregnancy was a bit of a surprise.

“This happened...just the quickest situation ever,” Mixon said. She says she discovered she was pregnant again because she was nursing and her milk suddenly "dried up."

“I couldn’t be more shocked,” she added. “Didn’t know it was possible. But me and my fiancé, we are welcoming it.”

She also revealed that her daughter is due just days after her son's first birthday. We all know that the first year of being a first time parent is rough, and being pregnant is rough too, and poor Katy is combining them both!

2 Luisana Lopilato - Focusing On Their Son's Health

Luisana Lopilato and husband Michael Buble are reportedly expanding their family. The couple are parents to sons Noah, four, and Elias, two and have had a rough time over the few years.

The couple's son Noah was diagnosed with cancer in November of 2016, and the couple admit that it was a very tense time for the whole family. Both Lopilato and Buble stepped away from their work commitments to focus on their son's health. Now that the worst is behind them with regards to Noah's health, rumour has it the couple are expanding their family.

I'm sure it was such a scary situation to be in with their son that they are crossing their fingers daily for a healthy pregnancy, as we all are.

1 Seth Myers And Alexi Ashe

When your husband is a comedian with his own talk show, it's understandable that sometimes personal stories will be made public.

Alexi Ashe is a human rights lawyer and the wife of talk show host and comedian Seth Myers. Alexi and Myers are parents to two year old son Ashe, and during an episode of Seth's talk show he revealed they were having another boy. It was at this time he explained that his father had a name of choice when it comes to their new son.

"We've had five sheepdogs, and they've all been named Albert," the patriarch of the Meyers family said. "And I really love the dog and I always wonder what it would sound like if it could talk. So I figure, if they name the kid Albert, eventually he'll start to talk and I'll say, 'Ah, yeah that's it.'"

Fortunately for Alexi, her husband seemed pretty set against naming their child after the family's five dogs, but it still sounds like this could get rough, at least until he has an official name!
