Long before the days of MTV's Teen Mom, women, including celebrities, were married and had babies younger than they do today. Getting married as a teenager this century is definitely not the norm anymore. Today, the average age to tie the knot for women is 27.1. That's up 5 years from 30 years ago. Women are waiting longer than they ever have to get married and start a family.

Though the statistics are drastically changing, there are still women out there who prefer to get their family life started earlier. We've put together a list of some high profile celebrity mamas who made their vows in their teens. Some kept them and some did not, but they were teen brides non-the-less.

As the famous old saying goes, "First comes love, than comes marriage, then comes a baby in the baby carriage." Though, not all of these celebrities did things in that order, nor did they all have babies in their teen years, they all did one thing in common.

All of the celebrities on our list were teen brides. Some married because of a pregnancy, some married then naturally pregnancy followed as it often does with marriage. Some of these marriages have survived the test of time, while others didn't make it.  These famous teen brides might have found it a little too difficult to juggle their careers and a family. Something had to give. It most cases it was their teen marriages.
