Taylor Swift is the queen at knowing how to treat fans. She pays surprise visits to their homes, invites them over to her home, and even checks in with them on Twitter when they're having a bad day. All in all, she’s pretty great, but on the opposite end of the spectrum are celebs who treat their fans like total garbage and it doesn’t even matter if you’re a cute little kid.

Thanks to smart phones, there are videos and Twitter feeds of celebrities being less than nice to their young fans. Some fans are ignored even after traveling exclusively to meet and wait in the cold to meet their favorite star while others probably wish that they had been ignored after the rude comments some stars have made to them.

Unfortunately for celebrities, the internet is right there to capture all of the stories about their bad behavior. We’ve picked out some of the worst stories about fans trashing young fans.

Some celebs, you’ll notice have a list of offences while others made one bad misstep that maybe we can blame on having a bad day. Either way, maybe they should take a cue or lessons from Taylor Swift about how to treat fans, because let’s face it, fame isn’t sure to last forever and you kinda need your fans to maintain it.

15 Robert Pattinson Calls Fans “Group Of Craziees”

There’s no British sense of humor when it comes this teen hearthrob Robert Pattinson, only blunt remarks that make his young fans cry. He’s referenced his fans as a ‘crap group of crazies’ and in an interview with the German version of ‘Interview Magazine’, Pattinson said he wondered, “what these masses of people do all day.” He was talking about his fans of course, whom he couldn’t understand why they were so interested in Twilight (you know the movie that made him famous).

The British actor has never hid his disdain for the film, the books, and the character that he played in the franchise. And, he doesn’t hide his disdain for fans, even when cameras are rolling. He was captured pushing a female fan earlier this year when he was out with his ex, musician F.K.A Twigs.

14 Ariana Grande Said “I hope They Die!”

The story first broke in the ‘New York Daily News’ about an industry insider who overheard Ariana Grande saying, “I hope they all f*&$ing die.” It was after a meet and greet where she had to sign photographs and smile for the people who made her famous (and rich). Yet, apparently the incident was too much for little Ariana, because as soon as the elevator doors closed, the petite songstress expressed her true feelings.

Naturally, she took to Twitter to slam the rumors as lies with LMAO emojis. Yet one has to wonder if there is truth to it considering that one fan took to Twitter in 2014 about how she had to wait 4 hours to meet the songstress after she won an MTV contest to meet her. The wait and Ariana’s rude behavior made her cry.

13 Justin Bieber - ‘Won’t Take Photos’

Justin Beiber making this list comes as no real surprsie considering that he has a history of poor behavior when it comes to interacting with his fans. Honestly, we’re not sure how he even manages to still have fans. TMZ captured a video of Beiber slamming a car door in some of his fans faces when they tried to get a picture with him.

The group of young girls waited for hours to catch a glimpse and take a selfie with the young musician. However, rather than politely stop to take a pic or politely decline, Bieber snapped at the girls. “Hey, I’m talking to somebody,” he said before slamming the car door in their faces. One girl remarked that it was rude and mean. Way to make someone feel worthless.

12 Kylie Jenner ‘Yells At Fans’

Kylie Jenner had to remind her pre-teen fans that she’s a girl who likes her space. When she was out for dinner in West Hollywood one night, she was swarmed by a group of ‘super fans’. In particular when a young girl hassled and grabbed the reality TV star for photos, Kylie wasn’t shy about snapping, “Stop touching me!”

Older sister Kendall was much nicer about the incident. The eldest Jenner and supermodel stopped for the young girls and took time to take photos. She not only posed for selfies, but she even took time to look at the photos. The mini fans burst into tears of joy that at least one of the famous Jenner sisters was willing to take 5 minutes out of their day to give back a little love to fans.

11 Britney Spears - ‘Fans Paid $2,500 For 3-Seconds’

If you pay $2,500 to meet Britney Spears, make sure that you keep the receipt just in case you need a refund. In 2014, fans paid for a VIP Meet & Greet with the star during her Las Vegas residency. Just what does $2,500 buy you when it comes to meeting BritBrit? Well, for starters, fans weren’t allowed to bring gifts, hug her, or even touch her. Then, when it came to meeting the Grammy nominated musician, they had 3-seconds to smile, take a photo, and say ‘goodbye’.

Sure, they also got front row seats and a bag of Britney themed merchandise. Yet, in case you’re wondering, a front row seat package for her Vegas show cost $525. So, that’s about $1,500 that fans paid for a 3 second selfie.

10 Demi Lovato ‘Bullies Fans About Their Weight’

In 2014, a fan named Madison took to Twitter claiming that Demi bullied her because of her weight. It was an ironic statement considering that Demi is vocal about anti-fat-shaming. However, the fan stated that Lovato bullied her with comments like ‘I’m going to speak whale to you’ and refused to take a photo with her fan during a meet and greet.

It’s halfway believable considering that there are rumors floating around from Demi’s old high school classmates claiming that she was a bully back in the day. There are also her less than praiseworthy meet and greets, the time she punched a backup dancer, and her continuous ‘beefs’ with celebs including ex-bestie Selena Gomez. Oh, and let’s not forget the time she body-shamed Taylor’s girlsquad for being too skinny.

9 Christian Bale ‘Believes Fans Should Be Eliminated’

Christian Bale hasn’t been winning points lately for his behavior off the silver screen. And, his former publicist, Harrison Cheung spilled all of the ‘Dark Knight’ star’s dirty little secrets. Apparently, when fans approached Bale, he became angry and lectured them about manners. During one of these lectures about being too invasive, a fan burst into tears before her parents finally tugged her away.

Considering this is the actor who reportedly assaulted his mother, he was arrested for assault, and verbally assaulted a director during the filming of ‘Terminator’, it’s easy to believe that he would be rude to fans, even if they were young girls. Cheung also wrote that Bale once said that a fan who sent him a letter should be ‘eliminated’ with a ’screwdriver thrust through the eyeball’. It sounds like he might be less of a superhero and more like his ‘American Psycho’ character.

8 Rihanna 'The CyberBully’

If you go to prom in a dress similar to that of your favorite pop star, make sure that it isn’t Rihanna. The singer is known for her hit songs as much as she is for her scathing tongue. In 2014 she used her tongue on Twitter to cyberbully a 16-year-old girl who paid tribute to her idol with her prom outfit. Imagine, it’s your prom and you’re proud to show off your ensemble modeled off of your favorite musician.

Unfortunately, the only thing the Grammy-winning musician had to offer was a caption of the Tweet, ‘Real Life’ followed by a sad face to her 35 million followers. Well, she did also create the hashtag #PromBat as well, just in case her young fan didn’t feel bullied enough. Yet, what can we expect from a woman who once hit a fan on the head with a microphone?

7 Bruce Willis Says “Don’t Touch Me!”

Bruce Willis already has a reputation for being ‘tough to work with’. He also has a ‘mean guy’ reputation when it comes to fans as well. One story floating around is when a few kids noticed him at a food court at the mall. They pointed at him, because they recognized the star. However, this set Bruce Willis off who stared down at the kids and scolded them. That’s right, he didn’t offer an autograph or even a ‘hello’. Instead, he yelled at the boys for simply recognizing him and pointing.

Granted pointing is rude, but it isn’t something to loose your head about. And, this isn’t the first time as another fan talked about a time when he tried to get an autograph and instead was scolded for touching the actor. “Don’t you ever touch me again, understand!”

6 Ashton Kutcher ‘Don’t Even Try To Take His Pic’

So, this wasn’t all just Ashton, Demi Moore was around too who was his beau at the time, (and is currently both Ashton and Bruce’s ex). The couple were out with other celebs in Las Vegas one night. One of the other celebs included wrestler Stacy Keibler who stopped to pose with fans. However, one fan only had one thing to say about Ashton. He was rude! “It’s disappointing when you meet your favorite celebrities and they are so rude.”

Ashton and beau Demi covered their faces and tried to block having photos being taken of them. Another rude incident with Ashton involved him (and Demi) at the Super Bowl in 2011. At a party, the couple were on the stairway and asked to move, because it was a fire hazard. Demi apologized, but Ashton gave that classic line, “Do you know who I am?”

5 Madonna ‘Arrives To Performances 3 Hours Late’

Let’s begin by saying that going to a Madonna concert is going to put a dent in your wallet for several hundreds of dollars. Also, if you have to be responsible and go to work the day following her Wednesday night performance, you might want to take the day off.

Last year Madonna made a string of offences to her fans when she continuously showed up hours late to performances. For one show in Nashville, Madonna was 3 hours late, stepping on stage at 11pm. Not long after, fans took to Twitter discussing their disapproval of her inconsiderate attitude. Even country music star Reba McEntire was unimpressed, posting her own photos of the performance to Instagram that showed an empty arena after many people had to head home early after they waited hours to see their favorite pop star.

4 Scarlett Johansson The 'Diva'

If you’re a young fan waiting for Scarlett to give you an autograph after waiting for her in New York in the middle of February, don’t hold your breath. After a performance of her Broadway debut in ‘A View From The Bridge’ a fan waited for the actress. The other stars from the performance greeted fans.

However, Scarlett was a total diva and was the last to come out. To add insult to waiting fans, the ‘Ghost in the Shell’ actress ignored everyone, even her young fans that waited for her. “I completely crushed me, she was my favorite celebrity and this was my only chance to ever see her. Pretty much everyone who waited 45+ minutes beside me had the same sentiments.” She could have at least given a ‘hello’ or ‘thank you’ for supporting my career.

3 Jared Leto ‘Gross Jokes To Underage Girls’

Just Googling Jared Leto’s name will bring up a slew of results about why he’s a jerk. The ‘Suicide Squad’ actor also has a band called ‘Thirty Seconds to Mars’. After one concert he flat out told a fan to ‘f*ck off’ when they asked for an autograph and told him that he had a great show. Another fan alleged that he ‘joked’ with a 17-year old girl about going down on him and even did the hand motion in front of her and her friend.

Then, one night when his band was performing in Brazil there was the time he went off at a concert goer, because she didn’t know the lyrics to one of his songs. Apparently, he forgot that in Brazil they speak Portuguese and how to not be a douchebag.

2 Megan Fox ‘Scared Of Children’

When a young boy brought a rose as a gift for his favorite actress, Megan Fox, she ignored him and his gift. Apparently, she wasn’t trying to be mean, she was just scared. You see, random little kids carry diseases and that rose was most likely laced with something like foot-in-mouth disease. Well, couldn’t she at least have blown him a kiss? After all, this is the actress who receives so little love from Hollywood, critics, Rotten Tomatoes, and even fans of the films that she stars in.

She should really try to make friends where she can. Then again, Fox doesn’t seem to really care whether she’s loved or hated. In an interview with MTV she stated, “I don’t care. Let them hate. They’re still going to see the movie!”

1 Lea Michele ‘Makes Children Cry’

Be careful not to snub your fans, because they could turn out to be in Hollywood one day nabbing a SAG and Academy Award nomination. That’s the case with Lea Michele who made a young Hailee Steinfeld cry when she was 14 years old. Apparently, the young actress was coming back from a casting for the film that would eventually put in the limelight, ‘True Grit’ when she spotted her idol, ‘Glee’ star Lea Michele. So, what did the young starlet do? She asked for an autograph.

Unfortunately for Hailee, it was not the right time for Lea as a representative, as the actress told her. Meanwhile, Lea walked on by. The snub brought Hailee to tears, “I was so sad! I was practically crying on the way home.” We guess the saying goes, ‘if you see me walking down the street and I start to cry, walk on by’.
