Today, probably more than ever, moms have a ridiculous amount of pressure on them when it comes to their pregnancy, birth and child-rearing are concerned. Celebrities are not immune to that pressure in the least. Some moms succumb to it and do exactly what they feel pressure to, while others choose their own path. Some moms just want to appear to have done things a certain way, even if it means telling a few little white lies.

Having a baby naturally is a big trend right now, and there's a ton of pressure to do it that way. When I was pregnant with my first baby, I asked my doctor what he thought about getting an epidural. He asked, "Would you have an appendectomy without any medication? You could, but you wouldn't." I chose the epidural, twice, and I am so very glad I did.

Some of the celebrities on this list talked the talk, but when the big day comes, they back out, which is nothing to be ashamed of. There are so many moms who have had to change their birth plan to do whatever is best for themselves and the baby. When their plans changed, though, they lied about it. Some of them lied about how the entire event went altogether.

15 Kate Winslet Lied About Her C-Section

Kate Winslet has always had a pretty impeccable public image. She is definitely a woman of grace and class. When it came to the pressure of giving birth vaginally, however, she felt that her public image might be marred a little too much.

When Kate had her daughter, Mia, she claimed that she had her vaginally and everything went very smoothly. It wasn't until the birth of her son, Joe, four years later, that she admitted that she had to have an emergency cesarean with Mia.

Kate stated in The Daily Mail, "'I just said that I had a natural birth because I was so completely traumatized by the fact that I hadn't given birth. I felt like a complete failure." Props to her for finally getting that off her chest and coming clean!

14 Blac Chyna Staged Her Birth

All the world is definitely a stage for the Kardashian clan, and that is no different for Rob Kardashian's baby mama, Blac Chyna, who actually had a completely different birth than pictured here.

Blac Chyna was scheduled for a planned C- section the week before her due date. The date and cesarean were announced and reported with all of the details, including which hospital she was having the surgery.

However, if you missed the news, the mannequin challenge was going on during that time. Rob and mother, Kris, were in the background standing and watching, like mannequins. While Blac Chyna staged a natural birth, which didn't actually happen.

13 Coco Austin Was Accused Of Using A Surrogate

Coco Austin has taken some serious heat over the birth of her baby girl. First, the media had a field day because the voluptuous Instagram user had only gained 12 pounds when she was pregnant. It is recommended that 25-35 pounds be gained when during pregnancy. Twelve is barely enough for the baby and placenta alone.

The second this that Coco was accused of was actually having a surrogate. There was a suspicious post on Instagram that her husband, Ice T, had posted of the new baby before Coco had even given birth.

The post was deleted and a new picture of the family of three took its place. Coco even bragged that the baby was out in just three pushes. The baby, Chanel, was also three weeks early and Coco had lost her 12 pounds within days of having birth. Fans were immediately suspicious and accusing her of having a surrogate and not even giving birth at all.

12 Ashlee Simpson Has A Quick Change Of Heart

Childbirth is absolutely terrifying! Whether it's your first of fifth, each time brings different fears, but the fear of pushing that baby out of your lady parts never changes. That fear was a little too much for Ashlee Simpson to handle.

Ashlee Simpson was one of those pregnant women who claimed they were going to do everything the all natural route. She fed everyone with all of her all natural ideals and attended natural birthing classes when she was expecting. However, after some of these classes, when she was expecting her son, Bronx Mowgli, she changed her mind.

She went so far from the all natural bandwagon as to actually request a c-section. She stopped commenting about childbirth completely and omitted the birth story when interviewed. Hopefully, with baby number two, she won't make promises she can't keep!

11 Beyonce's Pregnancy Conspiracies

As if her maternity pictures weren't bizarre enough, her entire 2011 pregnancy is also raising some eyebrows. Tons of fans have been calling her entire delivery a lie. They even think her entire pregnancy was a fake.

As far as the birth of Blue Ivy, questions have arisen like Why did she only release a few pictures of her baby bump to document the pregnancy? She is, after all, completely into self promotion. She also somehow managed to give birth in a Manhattan hospital without any information about the event itself leaked. None at all. Her due date also changed a few times.

Theorists think she might have faked a pregnancy because of fertility issues, which she has addressed in some of her songs. She may have just wanted her privacy during such a special and personal time. I guess we'll never know!

10 Jessica Simpson's Follows In Her Sister's Footsteps

Fear of childbirth is a natural thing. I don't think there has ever been a mama who wasn't at least a little scared of the thought of delivering a baby. When it comes down to it, most suck it up and do what they have to do. Jessica Simpson, however, opted for major surgery instead.

Just like baby sister Ashlee, Jessica jumped on the all natural bandwagon at first too. Their stories are pretty similar, but Jessica's was a little more elaborate. She had a pretty detailed natural birthing plan that she threw out the door.

This extremely meticulous all natural birthing plan of hers even included a live in nurse and a 24/7 on call doctor stationed at her Beverly Hills mansion, as well as a $500,000 birthing suit.

9 Adrienne Maloof Has Someone Else Do All The Work

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills', Adrienna Maloof couldn't hide her surrogacy scandal forever. When fellow cast member, Brandi Glanville, outed her secret, the media immediately pounced on the truth about the birth of Adrienne's two sons.

Adrienne had her two sons via rent-a-uterus, while claiming that she had them naturally. Brandi blurted out her secret while filming the show, but was edited out. Viewers were left with an ongoing cat fight that they didn't understand until Adrienne came clean. Adrienne's sons, like everyone else, didn't know the truth about their birth. She claimed that she planned to tell them when they were older.

Adrienne was able to carry her first son, though the pregnancy was complicated, and chose the surrogacy route with her younger two. Surrogacy has become a more common option these days, but why lie about it? They're still her kids!

8 Kim Kardashian Blurs The Lines

The term "natural" when referring to childbirth has been slightly misconstrued, and Kim Kardashian has used it incorrectly when referring to her first two children. After her first two birthing experiences, she claimed that they were all natural, meaning that she delivered vaginally. All natural means without medication or interventions, which Kim did end up having.

We completely understand the misrepresentation, and to Kim's credit, she had preclampsia with her first and her second breech, but she still had both vaginally! That is an amazing accomplishment and she should definitely be proud!

It's never been confirmed whether she had an epidural, but she had medications when she had to be induced with North and had an external cephalic version to turn Saint. The term "natural" is commonly misconstrued, as it was in this mama's case.

7 Zoe Saldana's Big Secret

The pregnancy birth story of Zoe Saldana's twin boys was never completely voiced by her until 2016. She hadn't even announced her pregnancy except vaguely through an ALS Icebucket challenge video. Brittany Spears actually accidentally spilled the beans for her.

The birth of her twin boys wasn't even announced until a month after they were born. While she was pregnant, Zoe never claimed to be leaning in a certain direction as far as childbirth goes, but she did withhold the truth about how her children's births went.

Zoe didn't give the full story of her boys' births until 2016, when she said that she was admitted for an emergency C-section. Sadly, she also had to have general anesthesia and wasn't able to see her babies until a day after they were born!

6 Janet Jackson's Mysterious Delivery

The birth of Janet's daughter, Eissa, is under major speculation. Not the actual event of childbirth, but the conception of her daughter has been under serious questioning by the media. She has managed to keep the baby's birth story pretty private, but at age 49, the conception of Eissa can definitely be questioned.

Janet conceived Eissa when she was 49 and had her when she was 50. Most women are in menopause by that age and conceiving a baby would be difficult, not to mention all of the complications that could be faced. Janet has kept relatively quiet about the entire process, so we can't technically call her a liar.

All we know is that it's pretty safe to assume that some medical assistance was most likely needed for bringing Eissa into the world.

5 Shakira's Hips Didn't Lie... But Her Baby Daddy Did

Shakira's  man lied on social media about the birth of their son, and we aren't quite sure to what end. Baby daddy and soccer star, Gerard Pique, made a few confusing posts that fans still don't understand.

In December in 2012 he posted that his first son had arrived, but in reality it wasn't until after the new year that the baby was born. The entire story is even more confusing because Shakira had a planned C-section, so the date was already set. The news was heard all over the world, but little did we know in the U.S. that his posts were all a joke.

Have you ever heard of Innocent's Day? Me neither. This is the Spanish version of April Fool's Day. Countries who don't celebrate the holiday were just a little confused after his son was actually born almost a month later.

4 Gisele Bundchen Raises Eyebrows

Supermodel, Gisele Bundchen has just annoyed mamas everywhere, or at least those in the real world. Gisele gained virtually no weight during her pregnancy, and when I say no weight, I mean she didn't even have to wear maternity clothes.

Her weight gain, however, is not the worst part. It's the lie that she told when she said her all natural, non-medicated childbirth "didn't hurt in the slightest." Gisele chose to give birth at home in a bathtub. She stated she "wanted to be very aware and present during the birth." This, we can totally understand, however, when she says it didn't hurt at all, we don't buy it.

Childbirth hurts. Contractions hurt. Pushing is extremely uncomfortable. Even with an epidural it's extremely uncomfortable. Contractions hurt. It wouldn't be labor and delivery if it didn't. Whoever says otherwise is lying.

3 Madonna - Just A Little White Lie

With the power of the media right at their fingertips, celebrities often do things in jest, but for us, we sometimes don't know. In the case of the birth of Madonna's baby, Lourde, we think her funny little lie was all in good fun, but again, can't be too sure.

Madonna had, of course, like so many mamas, had planned for and hoped for an all natural medication free birth. Sometimes, plans change though, and in Madonna's case they needed to. She had been in labor for 12 hours when it was decided that it was best for mom and baby to have an emergency C-section.

As she was being wheeled into surgery, she shouted, we think in jest, “Goodbye, everyone. I’m going to get my nose job now." Her last words while entering the operating room don't match up with someone who wants things the all natural route.

2 Alicia Silverstone Calls Childbirth 'Sexy'

Can childbirth be "sexy?" Alicia Silverstone seemed to think so, but I'm calling her bluff. "The first 14 hours were almost sexy. The [natural hormone] oxytocin was doing all this magic and it felt amazing," she said. If you're in labor for 14 hours, it's anything but sexy.

Labor and delivery is anything but glamorous, especially if you choose the all natural route and get to feel absolutely everything. Alicia was in labor for 27 hours! She went on Live! With Kelly and Michael and described her sultry experience to the world.

Alicia has been known for her controversial statements, but this one might take the cake. She did fess up that the last half of her labor lost its sultriness, but we can guess that the experience was probably never super sexy.

1 Megan Fox Couldn't Be Honest With Herself

We love what the gorgeous, Megan Fox, said about having a baby when she said, "it was horrific." We feel like this is an honest and realistic reaction to having birth. It wasn't those words that we're calling her out on.

When she found out she was pregnant with baby Noah, she thought, yes, it would hurt, but she could power through it. She basically underestimated just what exactly labor would be like. I guess she thought she was a little tougher than she actually is, because, on the contrary, she could barely even make it through one contraction.

She told post baby interviewers that, "I thought I was gonna be really tough and make it, I was going to labor to eight centimeters … but the first contraction I got was horrific." At least she admitted it though!
