Most parents have their fair share of “bad” parenting moments. No one is perfect, but since a parent is responsible for taking care of a little life, it’s easy for them to come under fire with even a seemingly small mistake. And, it seems that parents are more willing to criticize one another than ever before, from bashing moms who choose to formula feed to critiquing the way a dad buckles his baby into the car seat.

Celebrities are right there in the spotlight, though. It seems that they can’t really escape the constant judging eye of other parents because there are always cameras and witnesses. With that being said, at least the celeb parents on this list have openly admitted their faults and the worst parenting moments that they regret. Some of these bad parenting moments are truly scary, so it’s good that these celebs can at least admit they were wrong.

Still, who is any other parent to judge? Moms and dads do things every day that probably aren’t considered perfect parenting, yet life goes on. Live and learn and move along right? That’s what these celebs have done, and they should at least get some credit for that.

15 Britney Spears' Dangerous Driving

Britney Spears fans watched her totally crazy meltdown unfold back in 2007, but even before all the chaos ensued, she was still doing some odd and dangerous things that left fans scratching their heads and wondering where their beloved Brit-Brit went. Like during this moment, when Britney was caught by several photographers driving a car with her baby in her lap. Yikes!

It became one of the most infamous Britney moments overnight. Britney swears she felt her life was in danger because of paparazzi, so to keep them both safe, she took off quickly with her baby. According to Today, Britney said “I instinctively took measures to get my baby and me out of harm’s way, but the paparazzi continued to stalk us. I love my child and would do anything to protect him.” She’s never openly admitted to regretting her choice, but she has maintained that she did what she felt she needed to do.

14 Brad Pitt's Little Bribe

In 2012, Brad admitted he’s not the perfect parent to CBS’s Sunday Morning. In fact, he’s said he has times when he needs to bribe the kids to get them motivated to get moving in the morning. “I admit there's times like, 'We gotta get up. Get up! Here's your shoes. Here's your shoes. Drink this Coke. Drink this Coca-Cola. Drink it all. Right now! Drink it! Drink it! Drink it!' Just so we could get 'em up and going.”

Oh, Brad. We’ve all been there. If moms and dads are entitled to a caffeine boost in the morning, why not the kids, right? It seems logical. But, no, it’s probably not the healthiest choice for the kiddos. Brad hasn’t totally admitted that this move may be a bad choice, but if that’s the worst that’s gone wrong with his parenting, we would say he’s doing a pretty good job.

13 Mila Kunis' Strapping Mistake

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher try to stay out of the spotlight as much as possible, especially when it comes to their kids. Although their bad parenting moments never get caught on camera, Mila isn’t above admitting where they’ve gone wrong to prove to other parents that it’s possible for anyone to have a bad parenting day.

Like the day she totally forgot to strap her daughter, Wyatt, into her infant car seat when she was on a road trip to visit Ashton at work. She looked back in the mirror and noticed baby Wyatt wasn’t strapped in at all, leading to a total panic. Fortunately, she safely pulled over the car and buckled Wyatt in so they could continue their trip safely. Although she regrets what happened, of course, it’s a totally honest mistake any parent could make.

12 Jennifer Garner Has How Many Kids?

Once you have more than one or two children, things seem a little blurry, right? Jennifer Garner – seemingly one of Hollywood’s most perfect moms – has openly admitted to not only forgetting her kids’ names (hey, pretty much every parent has done that now and then) to forgetting where she left her 3^rd child, or forgetting that he exists at all.

During an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Garner said, “I don't know if it's because he's a boy ... I don't know if it's because he's my third and I forget that I have him ... you know, you're dealing with two, and then you think ‘Oh I put a baby down...I swear I put a baby down’...and you walk through the house and there he is ... just happy as can be!”

11 David Hasselhoff Caught On Video

It’s one thing to do something incredibly embarrassing and ridiculous as a parent. It’s a whole other ball game when your own child has to record you doing said stupid thing just to have proof of it to show you later. That’s what happened with David Hasselhoff’s most cringeworthy moment, when he was drunk and attempting to eat a hamburger on the floor while his daughter videotaped him to show him how ridiculous he was being.

It happened back in 2007, and Hasselhoff still looks to that moment with regret. But, more importantly, it has become a turning point in his life and the deciding factor that made him get help for his alcohol addiction. It’s sad that his daughters had to witness this incident, but we’re so glad he got the help he needed from the situation.

10 Hulk Hogan's Creepy Relationship

Hulk Hogan never seemed to think that his relationship with his daughter, Brooke Hogan, was creepy at all. But, it seemed that he regrets some things after the backlash they created on the internet. Like this time that he rubbed sunscreen on his daughter’s booty and upper thighs. Um, majorly weird, right?

But, that’s just one of the things Hogan has come under fire for, making people question the relationship he has with Brooke. After this photo was taken, Hogan also received a ton of backlash for a photo of Brooke’s legs that he posted on Twitter. The photo showed her wearing a short dress with most of her legs showing. Dear old Dad captioned it, “Brooke’s legs”. Hm, okay. He insisted he was just proud of his super-fit daughter, but thankfully, he’s since toned down the creepiness factor.

9 Pink's Potty Mouth

We probably all know a mom or dad who makes us cringe when we hear their potty mouths going off without a filter in front of their kids. But, Pink (and her hubby Carey Hart) is notorious for her foul language. She never seems to regret anything she says – and we love her for that! – but she does admit to taking it a little too far and finding it difficult to control her language in front of her kids.

In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres in 2014, Pink talked about her then-3-year-old daughter, Willow, spewing out some choice cuss words that she learned from mom and dad. Pink jokes about it, calling her daughter an “adorable little sailor,” but she’s said in other interviews that she’s trying to tone down her language, and even getting a “cuss jar” to try to curb the habit.

8 Alec Baldwin's Naughty Name-Calling

Back in 2007, Alec Baldwin came under fire when a voicemail to his then-11-year-old daughter, Ireland, went viral. In the voicemail, he hurled insults at his daughter and her mother, with whom Baldwin was in the midst of a custody battle over their daughter. He called Ireland a “rude, thoughtless pig” and screamed over the phone for about three minutes of an angry, hurtful voicemail.

In a more recent interview from April, Baldwin has admitted that the moment was one of his biggest regrets in life because he sees how it hurt his daughter, who’s now 21. Although Ireland has made amends with her father, it took the past decade to do it, and Baldwin knows that his words have likely scarred her forever. It seems to be a forgive, but not forget, situation.

7 Leah Messer's Reckless Driving

Leah Messer, one of the stars of Teen Mom 2, hasn’t had the best driving record. She’s been caught on a few occasions looking especially sleepy while driving, but fans were especially concerned to see her on a 2016 episode texting and driving while she was already distracted by a feud with her twin daughters. The incident happened after Messer picked up her daughters from their dad’s house. As she talked to them, she grabbed her phone and appeared to be texting. Yikes. And it isn’t the first time her dash cam has caught her doing it.

Fortunately, over the past year, Leah seems to have totally cleaned up her act after a stint in rehab. She’s more focused than ever on her daughters and being a good mom, which is evident in the more recent Teen Mom 2 episodes and in her relationship with the twins’ father, Corey.

6 Kim K's Spray Tan Fail

We all know Kim Kardashian sure loves her spray tans. Well, many celebs do, so we can’t necessarily fault her for that. But, celeb kids don’t need one, too, and that’s where Kim’s major mishap came into place. Kim sat down with Chrissy Teigen for an interview on Teigen’s website. That’s when Kim admitted that she had once covered baby North’s whole face in her spray tan when North was breastfeeding. She didn’t think anything of her unfortunate tanning mishap until North pulled away and Kim noticed her face.

Granted, she’s not the only woman in the world who has done this, but perhaps it’s time to keep better track of her spray tan schedule to make sure it doesn’t coincide with breastfeeding? Fortunately, no harm came upon the little beauty and Kim has learned her lesson.

5 Where’s Halle Berry's Kid?

Halle Berry confesses to having one of the scariest moments any mom can dream of happen to her with her daughter, Nahla, when she was younger. Halle and Nahla were browsing a store when, suddenly, Halle couldn’t find Nahla anywhere. After what seemed like an eternity of panic, Nahla poked her head around a corner and let Mama know where she was. Fortunately, that moment kicked Halle into gear and made her realize something scary like that can happen at any time.

So, she worked on teaching Nahla her name: “So that night, I said, ‘What’s your mommy’s name?’ And she looked at me like, You idiot. Why are you asking me what your name is? I asked her again: ‘Nahla? What is mommy’s name?‘ She thought about it for a second, and finally she said, ‘Halle Blueberries!’ Blueberries are her favorite fruit. I’m just glad she didn’t say ‘Halle Blackberry.’”

4 Farrah Abraham's Plucking Story

Farrah Abraham, one of the original Teen Moms, has made plenty of parenting mistakes in her mommyhood years, it seems. But, one of the most disturbing, perhaps, is the time she told her then-3-year-old daughter, Sophia, that her eyebrows were getting a bit out of control. In fact, she was growing a unibrow. So, what did Farrah decide to do? Wax them, of course.

We aren’t sure what makes her think a 3-year-old needs her eyebrows done, but here’s what Farrah said on her blog: “I showed her how I waxed mine off, so I tried to wax her. Sophia was freaking out, so I had to act like it was a cool science project to get the wax off. PLOT TO END THIS: Sophia fell a sleep, I got my tweezers and Pluck-pluck-pluck...” Since then, though, Sophia has grown and her eyebrows look the same as always, so we’re assuming Farrah has re-thought her decision to wax and pluck.

3 Anna Nicole Smith's Daddy Mix Up

Remember back in 2006 when Anna Nicole Smith had baby Dannielynn? Unfortunately, Smith’s world spiraled out of control when her older son, Daniel, passed away three days later. Anna Nicole then passed away only 5 months later, many assuming it had much to do with a broken heart. After her passing, what ensued was a custody battle over Danielynn. Anna Nicole had apparently put the wrong guy’s name on the birth certificate – on purpose, it seems – because she was currently in a relationship with him.

The media was all over the battle between Larry Birkhead, who turned out to be the real dad, and Howard K. Stern, Anna Nicole’s boyfriend. Many alleged Stern only continued to fight for Danielynn so he could inherit Smith’s estate. Birkhead, once determined the father, went all out in the media, glorifying his win. It seemed that three parents were in the wrong in this odd celeb triangle.

2 Kim K Dealing With An Awkward Meltdown

Yes, poor Kim’s on here twice. It doesn’t make her a bad mom; she just has a lot of moments caught on camera because she’s always in the public eye. This time, in particular, Kim decided it would be a great idea to bring baby North to New York Fashion Week in 2015. Of course, as a toddler, North wasn’t at all interested in what was going down, so she threw a typical toddler tantrum. Unfortunately, it was right in the front row, sitting next to the editor of US Vogue and Beyonce, of course.

Kim’s intentions were good, since they were there to support daddy’s (Kanye West) line for Adidas. But, we think the look on everyone’s faces – even Kim’s – says it all. Perhaps it wasn’t the best place for little North to be, and Kim ended up removing her from the show.

1 Amber And Gary's Witness To Violence

Any Teen Mom fan likely saw Amber and Gary’s tumultuous relationship unfold on the show. But, on one episode, we saw Amber turn scary when she was caught on camera hitting Gary – all in front of their baby girl, Leah. The poor kid saw her share of fighting between her parents, but witnessing Mommy hitting Daddy was surely a scary thing.

Amber ended up in jail months later for the incident and was sentenced to probation after leaving jail. It took her awhile to clean up her act after that, but it seems that she’s come a long way and regrets many of her past choices, especially this one that spiraled her life out of control. Fortunately, Leah is turning into a happy, healthy, and smart little girl, despite everything that’s happened with her Mama.
