Dwayne Johnson is a loving a devoted daddy. He inspires us with his commitment to both of his daughters Jasmine and Simone.
A few weeks ago, he shared with his Instagram fans some wonderful goals he has for little Jazzy who’s about a year and a half old.
“By 5, you'll be looking people in the eye when you firmly shake their hand.
By 8, you'll know how to fish, drive daddy's pick up truck and do cardio.
And by 10, you'll be able to directly say to people, "Great job, I like it a lot, but let's see how we can make it better". Helluva plan right sweetheart?”
A little young for the talk, her response is, “Buh!" as she points out a bug creeping by.
He’ll instill these values in time. But for now, bugs have her attention.
14 Skin-To-Skin Bonding With His Daughter
The Rock shares this special moment of his first skin-to-skin bonding with baby Jasmine. Taken just minutes after she was born, he’s clearly smitten.
But he does more than just take this time to bask in his happiness. He uses it as a teachable moment to reach out to his fans and encourage them to be there for their ladies.
“To all you young men out there who will be fathers one day, the goal of "being better" will never steer you wrong. Trust me I've been down this road. Something else that'll never steer you wrong is "walking thru the fire" with your baby's mama.”
His main prayer in this precious moment with his second daughter? “Give me the strength to be a better man today than I was yesterday. If I can accomplish that, then I'd have a good shot at being a great father.”
13 Dressed As His Daughter's Favorite Character
The Rock decided to surprise his daughter with her favorite character Pikachu.
He did it four months prior but didn’t account for her new developmental stage. She had him running all over the place and wouldn’t let him stop.
“Well, Pikachu didn't account for the fact that now Jazzy RUNS and for 2hrs straight she wants to play her new favorite game, "I run away and you chase me Pikachu. And you're not allowed to take a break until I go night night".”
But being the great dad he is, he doesn’t disappoint. He meets her tiny demands and has a blast doing it. If you’re looking for a Daddy Goal, this one takes gumption but it is what makes you a great dad at the end of the day.
“I'm tired, today's my only day off, it's 118 degrees in this costume and Hobbs keep trying to p*ss on my leg.

12 He Changes Diapers!
Is there anything more wonderful than a man changing the baby’s diaper? Well…maybe The Rock changing the baby’s diaper. Yes please!
Dwayne Johnson let his fans know that he’s always up for a diaper change if little Jazzy needs it.
On Instagram he reports, “Regardless of where we're at.. when #2 happens with my baby girl.. I'm the #1 man for the job.”
I love it when my husband changes our sons diaper on our private jet. I mean….in our coach seats on a plane….or in our minivan…

11 Loves The Women In His Life
A great daddy begins by being a great partner. Dwayne Johnson understands this.
In an Instagram post, he gushes about all the great women in his life. His mom, daughters and partner all make the list.
“Not a day goes by where I don't think about the women in my life, shake my head and consider myself the luckiest SOB on earth. I come from a family of beautiful, strong, diverse and intelligent women.”
For his daughters, he sets the bar high as an example of how a man should treat women. He goes on to explain that the wonderful women in his life,
“They inspire and challenge me daily to become a better man, father and role model. My love and respect for them is boundless. The world's a better place because of you and I'm a very grateful man to be by your sides. “
10 Daddy Daughter Work Day
Any parent who’s tried to tip toe through the house in the morning to get anything done without waking the littles knows just how difficult that can be. Maybe you set your alarm early to get a little extra time in the morning. That can all be undone in a minute as a little one wakes up and neeeeds you.
This happened to The Rock as he tried to get a little extra work in on Moana. Did he get upset and tell Jasmine to get back in bed? Nope, instead he decided to seize the moment and enjoy the time with his daughter.
He explains that“…this lil' tiger wakes up, wanders in and wants to watch "Mo".. her way of saying Moana. And aaaaall daddy's work comes to a screeching halt.”

9 Not Letting Go
Getting ready for the NAACP Awards, The Rock admits he’s not ready to let little Jasmine go.
On Instagram, he explains, “Dressed like a G and daddy's gotta go to work, but someone ain't lettin' go. Me, not her.”
It’s adorable that he cherishes his time with his daughter so much. He could have kept her off with someone else as he prepared for the awards show. Instead, he snuck in a little time with her before he had to tend to his other duties.
As an exemplar daddy, he makes time for his daughters even though he lives a crazy busy life. He doesn’t let old excuses like work make him miss precious moments with is daughter. As one of the hardest working men in Hollywood, he still finds time for his girls.

Here he posed with a group of moms with their babies after he finished filming Jumanji for the day. At least nine moms and more than 7 babies were awaiting this baby loving daddy.
He raved about what a great crowd of fans it was to meet, especially the babies. He had a shout out for the 6 week old baby who came out to meet him.
More than just his average fans who usually hang around until he finishes filming each day, this group stuck out to him.

7 He's Goofy With His Daughter
Here the Rock poses with his daughter Simone. A dad of a 15 year old needs to know how to have a little fun. He’s not afraid to embarrass her a little bit to joke around.
Making time for his daughter in his super busy life, Dwayne Johnson took Simone to Joe Weider’s Olympia Body Building Contest where he won the Icon Award. Take your daughter to work day just got a little more interesting.
He could be jet-setting around the country by himself. Instead, the Rock decides to bring his daughter along whenever he can. He’s had fun bringing her as his plus-one to other awards shows like the MTV Movie Awards, Golden Globes and the People’s Choice Awards.
6 Teaches His Daughter About Hard Work
Dwayne Johnson took last Labor Day as an opportunity to talk to little Jasmine about the importance of hard work.
His words of wisdom included, "Baby girl when you grow up, you get out there and dent the universe thru hard work and sweat. And always make sure you do it in a positive way with class, dignity and respect".
Being just a bit too young to grasp the conversation, The Rock told fans “She responded by poo'ing on me in this moment as she plays her favorite game, "Drum time on daddy's big head".”
He’s starting early with the message. Eventually she’ll get it. But more than any conversation, she’ll understand his dedication to hard work through his actions. The Rock understands that the best daddies teach by example and he’s great at doing that.
5 Preparing For Daddy Daughter Talks
The Rock is a family man who takes time for family meals with his young daughter. He’s also looking forward to the day he can teach her about their cultures.
As she check’s out his large tattoo, he reflects “Can't wait to one day explain to her what all this means.”
More than just simple body art, his tattoo represents many ancient ideas that are a part of their history and heritage.
Being the involved father he is, he’s ready to explain her rich Samoan, Armenian, African American and Italian heritage. On Instagram he tells fans, “Yuuuuup, we gonna have some good daddy/daughter chats. Until then she'll continue to use daddy's tattoos as a place to scratch, drool and spit up.”
4 Snuggle Time Before Gym Time
Does anything feel better than having your child run into your arms and joyously yelling your name? It makes you feel like the luckiest person alive (really every time you experience it you are the luckiest person alive.).
The Rock was gifted such an incredible moment on his birthday. As he was getting ready to head out to the gym he explains, “This lil' mama surprised me by runnin' into my arms and yelling "Daaaahdeeeeee".
To be the sun in someone’s world is absolutely incredible. This isn’t lost on Dwayne Johnson. He told fans that he interpreted it as Jasmine saying, "Happy birthday daddy! You're the coolest daddy on the planet and the sexiest man alive, now go crush your workout and keep stayin' woke".

3 He Keeps His Family Close
It’s clear that family is important to The Rock. Here he shares a photo of him and his daughter with her mom and grandparents.
He was paying homage to his girlfriend’s father who passed away. Great dads realize that it takes a village to raise a child. Dwayne Johnson has made sure that his daughter’s village is loving and supportive.
