We are sure almost everyone has at least one cringe-worthy photo of themselves that they are unwilling to share. It might be that ultra-embarrassing picture of you talking with your mouth full of food, or the one of you bending over in a very unflattering pose. Fortunately, most of the time we can hide the photo away or discard it completely.
Like us, celebrities also have their share of unfortunate moments caught on film. The difference between them and us though, is that their embarrassing moments are documented for the world to see. They usually don’t have the choice to destroy the evidence of their mishaps, and the proof is out there for anyone to search for at any time.
Celebrities have the added pressure of appearing to be perfect at every moment, for they can never be too sure when the paparazzi will be lurking in the shadow. The truth is, though, nobody can be perfect 24/7 and even celebrities are bound to show a weakness at some point. To be a celebrity means you need to be able to handle the backlash of poor decisions and malfunctioning wardrobes with dignity and class. If they choose to handle it any other way, it only magnifies the situation.

16 Fergie Wets Her Pants
The infamous Fergie has a huge fan base of women of all ages who idolize her. On stage, she always appears to be strong and confident. It’s likely what drives thousands of fans to each of her concerts. The lead singer of the Black Eyed Peas also has a rocking solo career, and she is used to being in the public spotlight. However, at one Black Eyed Peas concert, she might have wished for that spotlight to be a little dimmer.
Arriving late to the concert because of traffic, Fergie had no time to make a bathroom break before heading on stage. She admits that with a rush of adrenaline, and jumping up and down on the stage, the unthinkable happened. She wet her pants. She was left standing in front of an entire crowd of people, with a pee stain on her pants. It’s definitely a photo opportunity she probably wishes people would have ignored. But it's something she could relate to her son with as he had accidents while he potty-trained.
15 Katherine Heigl Almost Bares All
The star of 27 Dresses almost lost her own dress at an awards ceremony in Las Vegas. Clad in a beautiful red dress, Katherine Heigl was onstage giving an acceptance speech, when one of the straps of her dress came undone, almost exposing her breast. She kept her cool, however, holding the dress up until the show’s host, Billy Bush, came to her aid. She was later able to locate a pin backstage, secured the top, and was able to continue posing for photographs.
Once the star of the hit T.V. show Grey’s Anatomy, Heigl was on the fast track to being one of the highest paid female actresses in the industry. She nabbed starring roles in romantic comedies such as The Naked Truth and Knocked Up. As of late, she hasn’t been seen in much of anything besides television commercials. The dwindling offer of roles could possibly be related to the rumors of her being a star with bad behavior and high demands on set.

If you think all movie stars are perfect 24/7, think again. Even stars that once graced the cover of People’s Most Beautiful Women, like Halle Berry, have their moments of awkwardness.
While on the red carpet of a Revlon event in New York City, the star posed for pictures, pit stains and all. Berry was either unaware of the fashion faux pas, or chose to ignore the stains that were quite visible on the gold clingy material of her dress.
Excessive underarm sweating in an embarrassing problem for many people besides Halle Berry. The issue can lead to body odor and stained clothing along with social anxiety. Wearing deodorant is helpful, but we found some other ideas to try if that doesn’t help. Check your deodorant bottle to make sure it contains an antiperspirant in addition to a deodorant. Deodorants help control the odor, but do not reduce the sweating. Antiperspirants temporally block the sweat glands in the armpits. You could also talk to your doctor about using prescription strength antiperspirants. Dust cornstarch or talcum powder under your arms, as they both can absorb excess sweat. Wear clothing such as cotton or silk to allow air to circulate and keep your skin dry. Also, be sure to bathe every day with an antibacterial soap to control the bacteria that causes body odor.
13 Christina Aguilera's Mysterious Leakage
While singing at her idol Etta James’ funeral, Christina Aguilera had women cringing everywhere as they witnessed some brownish-red streaks running down her legs. Several people were quick to speculate that the mystery fluid might have been menstrual blood, thinking Aguilera unexpectedly got her period. However, an insider claimed that the liquid was in fact, from a spray tan. Aguilera had apparently had a spray tan prior to the funeral service, and her sweat caused the tan to streak, leaving the undesirable tell-tale tracks running down her legs. The incident did not seem to phase Aguilera however, as she continued to give an amazing performance to the artist she claimed inspired her and her career.

12 Heather Locklear Goes Loco
Heather Locklear has a long history of drug and alcohol issues. She most likely has a lot of pictures she wishes you would never see. She has been in and out of rehab over the past several years, trying to kick the bad habits.
Heather Locklear is best known for her role as Amanda Woodward on the hit television series Melrose Place. It even earned her four Golden Globe nominations for Best Actress on a Television Series Drama. She also starred in shows such as Dynasty and Spin City. She’s been married twice to two famous band members: Tommy Lee of Motley Crue, and Richie Sambora of Bon Jovi. Both marriages ended in divorce.
Locklear has had a run of bad luck over the last few years. She checked into a mental facility in 2008, was charged with reckless driving in 2009, and was taken to the hospital in 2012 when her sister called 911, believing that Locklear had taken a dangerous combination of drugs and alcohol.
11 Kim Kardashian Turns Red
While vacationing in Mexico, Kim Kardashian, from Keeping Up With the Kardashians, fell asleep in the sun before applying any sunscreen. Wearing her huge Prada sunglasses, Kardashian suffered a sunburn that left her with a complexion that reminds us a little of a raccoon.
Getting a sunburn increases your risk of developing skin cancer, called melanoma. Each year, hundreds of thousands of people are diagnosed with skin cancer. If you are prone to getting sunburned, you can burn in less than 15 minutes of exposure to the sun. You can also burn on cloudy days, and not just when the sun is shining. UV Rays can penetrate through the clouds, so make sure you are applying sunscreen at least 30 minutes prior to going outside each day.
If you do find yourself with a sunburn, you can find relief by liberally applying cool whip and miracle mayonnaise. Schedule yearly checkups with a dermatologist to check over any moles or spots to detect any cancer quickly.

It doesn’t seem like it was that long ago that Britney Spears was routinely caught in the middle of disgusting habits like picking her nose. She has had her share of bad manners, bad relationships, and bad decisions in years past. During a low point in her career, Spears was often witnessed at her concerts looking unbathed and unkempt. She suffered a mental breakdown as her life was spiraling out of control. Odd behavior such as shaving her head, attacking paparazzi with an umbrella, and reckless driving were all witnessed by the public.
Fortunately, Spears has made a comeback, now appearing cool, calm, and collected. In 2015 she announced that she had signed a 2-year, $35 million deal to continue her show at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, NV. She has made television guest spots, and regularly posts adorable photos of her sons on Instagram. She is once again in great physical shape, and recently released her ninth album, Glory.
9 Mel B Reaches High
Former Spice Girl, Mel B (Brown), had to make an impromptu dressing room in the back seat of a car. The woman known as Scary Spice was able to fully change, but had to rearrange her underwear, and as a result ended up flashing her behind to onlookers. However, it didn’t seem to bother the star much to have her beautifully toned booty hanging out.
Mel B is an English singer and songwriter who made her claim to fame as a member of the all-girl group, the Spice Girls. After the group had broken up, Brown began a solo career and watched her songs climb the top of the charts in UK.
Mel B has also spent time on non-singing projects such as becoming a celebrity dancer on the reality show, Dancing With The Stars. She has spent some time as a judge for the Australian version of the X Factor. She is currently working on the Broadway musical Chicago.
8 Tori Spelling's Facial Mess
After exiting a spa in Calabasas, California on a sunny Sunday, Tori Spelling was seen with a red, spotty, and inflamed looking face. She had reportedly had three procedures done tht day. A chemical peel in which a solution is applied to the skin that causes it to exfoliate and peel. She also had a microdermabrasion facial which is a non-invasive procedure. Microcrystals are sprayed on the skin to exfoliate it, leaving younger healthier-looking skin in its place. It addition to the two procedures, she had her eyebrows waxed. After all of this, it’s normal for the face to look irritated at first, but it often settles down within a few hours. It’s important to stay out of the sun following these sessions since the skin is extra sensitive.
Spelling posted pictures of herself at a spa on Instagram. She received a lot of heat for the photos thee supposedly cash-strapped star’s husband Dean McDermott allegedly owes his ex-wife over five months of child support.
Just a few days later, Tori was spotted looking beautiful with no signs of a red, blotchy face.
7 Patricia Arquette's Saggy Bottoms
Actress Patricia Arquette was spotted with her pants unbuttoned and practically falling off of her while she exited her car in Beverly Hills, California. The star of the television series Medium had wisely tied a sweater around her waist to maintain a little modesty, and prevent to cameras from snapping a picture of her booty. Unfortunately, it did not help to hide her underwear that was on view to all. Arquette’s skinny jeans were sagging dangerously low, and she had her hands full of items which prevented her from yanking them back up. Her daughter, Harlow, joined her, but seemed unconcerned with her mom’s slipping pants.
The photo was snapped just days after Arquette took home an Oscar for best supporting actress for her twelve-year role in Richard Linklater’s Boyhood. She used her acceptance speech to share her views about wage equality and equal rights for women in the United States.

Victoria Beckham is too posh to actually pee her pants. Celebrating her London store’s anniversary party, she was seen exiting the building sporting a mysterious wet stain “down there”. Despite what it may have looked like, the explanation was a simple accident. She had unfortunately spilled some wine onto her lap while sitting down.

As often as Kate Middleton has to face cameras, it’s no surprise when the photographers are sometimes able to capture some rather unflattering pictures of her. Usually clad in dresses, it appears to be a common occurrence for Middleton to inadvertently flash her bum as blusters of wind caused her dress to fly up on numerous occasions. Perhaps longer dresses, or weighted material would be a solution to her unfortunate problem.

4 Reese Witherspoon's Angry Outburst
There is a photograph of Reese Witherspoon floating around the internet, that she wishes never existed. It is a picture of her mug shot. Much different than her red carpet look, Witherspoon’s booking photo shows her with her eyes cast downward.
Witherspoon and her husband Jim Toth were pulled over in 2013 for suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Toth, the driver, admitted to having a drink before driving and was arrested for DUI. Witherspoon became upset during the traffic stop, and earned a disorderly conduct charge by refusing to return to the vehicle after being told to by police several times. She also played the celebrity card, asking the officer if he knew who she was. She pleaded no contest to the charge.
The award-winning actress releases a statement f0llowing the arrest, apologizing for her actions to the police. Witherspoon states she was “deeply embarrassed” for how she spoke to the officers.
3 Angelina Jolie Shines Brightly
While attending the premiere of an HBO drama, Angelina Jolie arrived on the red carpet looking stunning as usual in a black strapless dress. However, all attention was focused on her flawed face, and not on her beautiful attire. Angelina had a white powder smeared across much of her face.
Jolie was likely unaware that there was anything wrong with her makeup at all. From the looks of it, her makeup just wasn’t blended in properly, and the harsh lights of the flashing cameras made the translucent powder appear white. Jolie most likely left her home looking perfect, and didn’t realize the problem until after the photographs were taken.
Jolie is not the only celebrity to fall victim to an incident such as this. Miley Cyrus, Melissa Joan Hart, Nicole Kidman, and many other stars have also suffered the results of spotty white complexions due to silica powder not being properly blended in.
2 Janet Jackson's Nipplegate
Perhaps the most famous embarrassing photo of a celebrity is that of Janet Jackson during the 2004 Superbowl. Performing at the half time show, which was broadcast live, Janet Jackson’s breast was bared by Justin Timberlake. The incident, which revealed a nipple shield on Jackson, only lasted for about half a second, and was called a “wardrobe malfunction.” The Federal Communications Commission hit CBS with a $550,000 fine, and the famous Super Bowl moment became controversial as many felt it was planned.
Because of the incident, a five-second broadcast delay was implemented for all performances on live television. The act itself gave fodder to late night talk shows for weeks following. The nip slip is said to be the most controversial T.V. and media event to occur within pop culture. Janet Jackson became the most searched term in internet history. It’s almost impossible to talk about any halftime show without remembering back to this one.
1 Behai Prinsloo Nip Slip
Another not so famous slip of the nipple happened to Adam Levine’s wife, Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo. While attending the Vanity Fair Oscar After Party in Beverly Hills, California, the model accidentally flashed her nipple when her gorgeous silky gown slipped off to the side. Her handsome husband saved the day though as he quickly reacted and intervened to shield his wife’s exposed breast. He jokingly chided he paparazzi, and the couple laughed it off as he adjusted her dress.
Prinsloo and Levine were married in 2014 after two years of dating. The couple met while Levine, lead vocalist of the band Maroon, was dating another Victoria’s Secret model. After that relationship ended, they began dating and were married a few short years later. Prinsloo gave birth to their only child, daughter Dusty Rose, in September 2016. Over the last couple of months, rumors of divorce have been circulating, but nothing has been confirmed.
