Out of over 82 women who have come forward, at least 33 are mothers, a number that should undeniably be higher. The torrent of allegations against Harvey Weinstein may have subsided recently, but more are sure to follow soon enough.

With the catalog of his actions spanning from as early as the 1980s all the way to recent years and including any woman who may have come into contact with the shamed producer, it's almost certain that Rose McGowan hit the nail on the head with her estimate: "I would probably estimate there's got to be over 1,000 [victims], maybe 2,000."

We know that at least 33 of his victims are mothers, but there simply isn't enough information available on the web about the many actresses and models whose names were rising to prominence in the 80's and 90's but whose career squashed by the unscrupulous monster.

The worst part of all is the resounding thought shared by all of his victims: everybody knew. For decades, everyone in Hollywood enabled Weinstein, scared of the wrath that might befall them if they ever spoke up about the powerful producer.

Luckily time's are changing and it's Time's Up.

17 Rosanna Arquette

Although she was supposed to meet Weinstein for dinner to pick up a script for a new film, Rosanna Arquette instead found herself ushered up to his hotel room. In similar fashion to the countless women both before and after her, she arrived to find him wearing nothing but a bathrobe and asking for a massage. After she replied that she knew a good masseuse, he grabbed her hand and put it on his neck. She yanked it away, only to have him grab it again and this time direct it towards his crotch. “My heart was really racing. I was in a fight-or-flight moment,” she said. She told Weinstein, “I will never do that.”

As per his usual, he told her that she was making a big mistake rejecting him to which she responded: “I’ll never be that girl”. Unfortunately, although she was able to get some small roles, her career did indeed suffer. She has explained that her silence over the years was due to his reputation for vindictiveness. Even more shockingly is that in 2015, her daughter Zoe Bleu, who was 20 years old at the time, came forward revealing that she had been assaulted as a child.

16 Kate Beckinsale

Although Kate Beckinsale was lucky enough to escape his devilish clutches, it is still an encounter that she will likely never forget. She recalled that she was invited to meet Harvey Weinstein at the Savoy Hotel when she was just 17 years, but she was caught completely off-guard when he greeted her in nothing but a bathrobe. She said: "I was incredibly naive and young and it did not cross my mind that this older, unattractive man would expect me to have any sexual interest in him.

"After declining alcohol and announcing that I had school in the morning I left, uneasy but unscathed. A few years later he asked me if he had tried anything with me in that first meeting. I realized he couldn't remember if he had assaulted me or not."

The years that followed were filled with more advances, but the mom of one managed to say “no to him professionally many times”, certain that her refusals undoubtedly hurt her career.

15 Salma Hayek

In an article published in The New York Times entitled “Harvey Weinstein Is My Monster Too”, Salma Hayek detailed the harrowing events that she went through with the abusive producer. In particular, she started off her essay saying: “I had brainwashed myself into thinking that it was over and that I had survived; I hid from the responsibility to speak out with the excuse that enough people were already involved in shining a light on my monster. I didn’t consider my voice important, nor did I think it would make a difference.” Feeling that she wouldn’t make a difference is the exact same way that all of Weinstein’s victims have felt over the decades.

She went on to describe the countless times that she had to refuse his advances, with everything from saying "no" to taking a shower with him, all the way to saying "no" to his infamous massages, demands for threesome and just relations in general. “And with every refusal came Harvey’s Machiavellian rage,” even going so far as to saying “I will kill you, don’t think I can’t.

14 Lena Headey

Sharing her story on Twitter, mom of two and Games of Thrones star Lena Headey described that the first time she met Weinstein, he made a “suggestive comment” while they took a walk by the water. She wrote: “I just laughed it off, I was genuinely shocked, I remember thinking, it's got to be a joke, I said something like … oh come on mate?! It'd be like kissing my dad!

Years later in L.A., she recounted that after talking about “films, film making”, the energy shifted as he invited her up to his room where he apparently wanted to show her a new script. ”The lift was going up and I said to Harvey, I'm not interested in anything other than work, please don't think I got in here with you for any other reason, nothing is going to happen I said. I don't know what possessed me to speak out at that moment, only that I had such a strong sense of don't come near me”.

His hand was on my back, he was marching me forward, not a word, I felt completely powerless, he tried his key card and it didn't work, then he got really angry,” she remembered. As with a few others, she was fortunately able to escape his clutches unscathed physically, but forever marred psychologically.

13 Lysette Anthony

In 1982, when was just 19 years old, Lysette Anthony, now a mom of two, described that Weinstein’s advances came completely out of the blue: “The next thing I knew he was half undressed and he grabbed me. It was the last thing I expected and I fled. I blamed it on myself because I was tired, a bit drunk and therefore so completely off my guard. He was a so-called friend I'd known for years and the clumsy fumble was the last thing I saw coming”. Nothing happened during that encounter, but she was powerless against him when she opened her door to find him standing at her home: “He pushed me inside and rammed me up against the coat rack in my tiny hall and started fumbling at my gown. He was trying to kiss me and shove inside me. It was disgusting."

"Finally I just gave up. At least I was able to stop him kissing me. As he ground himself against me, I kept my eyes shut tight, held my breath, just let him get on with it. He came over my leg like a dog and then left. It was pathetic, revolting. I remember lying in the bath later and crying." That wasn’t the first or even the last time though as she felt pressure to continue accepting meetings with him.

12 Uma Thurman

When asked to weigh in about her experience with sexual harassment and misconduct during an interview with Access Hollywood in November 2017, Uma Thurman initially struggled to formulate her thoughts, answering: “I don't have a tidy soundbite for you because I have learned -- I am not a child -- and I have learned that when I've spoken in anger I usually regret the way I express myself."

It wasn’t until the beginning of February 2018 that she finally elaborated on her experience with the scoundrel, saying that prior to his attack, he was her “champion” and would “spend hours talking to [her] about material and complimenting [her] mind and validating [her].

But everything changed during an incident in a Paris hotel room when, wearing nothing but a bathrobe, he asked her to follow her into a steam room. “I followed him through a door and it was a steam room,” she said. “And I was standing there in my full black leather outfit – boots, pants, jacket. And it was so hot and I said, ‘This is ridiculous, what are you doing?’ And he was getting very flustered and mad and he jumped up and ran out.” Later, he attempted to force himself again, this time at the Savoy Hotel in London. She described his behaviors “like an animal wriggling away, like a lizard.”

I am one of the reasons that a young girl would walk into his room alone, the way I did,” Thurman said. “Quentin used Harvey as the executive producer of Kill Bill, a movie that symbolizes female empowerment. And all these lambs walked into slaughter because they were convinced nobody rises to such a position who would do something illegal to you, but they do.

11 Julianna Margulies

Although Julianna Margulies narrowly avoided the Weinstein horror, it is actually because of a previous incident with another actor that led her to be more careful about hotel room meetings. After being told that co-star Steven Seagal wanted to go over a scene with her, she made her way over to his hotel room, only to be faced with a scary situation: “I got to the hotel around 10:40, and she wasn’t there. And he was alone and he made sure that I saw his gun, which I had never seen a gun in real life,” she continued. “I got out of there unscathed…I never was raped, and I never was harmed. I don’t know how I got out of that hotel room.

Unscathed, she was better prepared when Weinstein invited her over up to his hotel room later. But when she insisted that the assistant come up with her: “I saw him stare at her, daggers. And I turned to see what she had done to deserve that, and I caught her in a shrug, like ‘What could I do?'” Margulies said. “He looked at me, furious, and he took the door and he said, ‘Just wanted to say great audition.’ And he slammed the door. Of course I didn’t get the part.

She further elaborated: “It’s not always the men that are awful…We have to start holding these people accountable.”

10 Asia Argento

When she was just 21 years old, Asia Argento was seemingly invited to a party, but when she arrived, it turned out to be a party of just two, with Harvey Weinstein excusing himself to change into his usual bathrobe. Holding a bottle of lotion, he asked her to give him a massage and though she replied that she wasn’t a fool, the mom of two has now reminisced: “But, looking back, I am a fucking fool. And I am still trying to come to grips with what happened”.

While she gave him a massage, her forced her legs apart and performed oral sex on her, but although she repeatedly told him to stop, he didn’t. She explained that Weinstein “terrified [her], and he was so big […] It wouldn’t stop. It was a nightmare.”

Although decades have passed since the incident, the damage is still lingering: “I’ve been damaged,” she told me. “Just talking to you about it, my whole body is shaking.” But the abuse wasn’t confined to that one incident and she felt “obliged” to submit to more of his advances, especially during a time when she struggled with finances as a single mother.

9 Léa Seydoux

Although French actress Léa Seydoux tried to come forward with her story when it first happened, her agent at the time actually advised the Spectre and first-time mom to “stay far [away from him] and be polite”. Seydoux herself has explained: “It was hard to say no because he’s so powerful. I’m an actress and he’s a producer.

She has also insisted that everyone in the entertainment business was aware of Weinstein’s behavior but no one said anything. Unlike many others before her, Seydoux was luckily able to escape his clutches. “We were talking on the sofa when he suddenly jumped on me and tried to kiss me. I had to defend myself. He’s big and fat, so I had to be forceful to resist him,” she said.

She also added: “He tried more than once... I pushed him physically. I think he respected me because I resisted him.”

8 Claire Forlani

Although her experience is slightly different only in that she managed to avoid his advances multiple times, Claire Forlani’s account still follows all the same trends that Weinstein has set out for his victims over the years. The mom of one explained: “You see, nothing happened to me with Harvey — by that I mean, I escaped 5 times”.

She continued: “I had two Peninsula Hotel meetings in the evening with Harvey and all I remember was I ducked, dived and ultimately got out of there without getting slobbered over, well just a bit. Yes, massage was suggested. The three dinners with Harvey I don’t really remember the time period, I was 25. I remember him telling me all the actresses who had slept with him and what he had done for them. I wasn’t drinking the cool aid [sic], I knew Harvey was a master manipulator.”

7 Anne Heche

Speaking out about the disgraced producer, Anne Heche has revealed that she was fired from a Miramax film project after refusing to involve herself with him sexually when he showed her his private parts. Weinstein has of course denied any of this, but Heche added that: “The repercussions of standing up for yourself were as deep and targeted as some of the scars of the women who actually got more physically, unfortunately, involved.

Although she hasn’t provided any more names, she also added: “If I wasn’t sexually abused as a child, I don’t know if I would have had the strength to stand up to Harvey and many others. It was not just Harvey, and I will say that. The callousness I had towards anybody trying to take advantage of me was huge.”

She also added: “There is no bigger monster [than Weinstein] and it’s great that’s he’s being taken down.”

6 Gwyneth Paltrow

When Gwyneth Paltrow was just 22 years old, she was hired by Weinstein to play the lead role in a Jane Austen adaptation of “Emma”. Like many women before and after her, she was invited up to Weinstein’s suite for a “work meeting”. But for Weinstein, a “work meeting” actually signified something entirely different and when she arrived, he placed his hands on her shoulders and suggested that they go to the bedroom for massages. Although she refused, she explained that she had seen him as a mentor and an uncle: “I was a kid, I was signed up, I was petrified.”

Unlike other women who weren’t as lucky, she was fortunately able to escape his monstrous clutches. Brad Pitt, who she was dating at the time, actually confronted Weinstein about his advances, but all that did was leave Paltrow fearful for the fate of her career as he warned her never to tell anyone else. Even more horrifyingly is that Paltrow has now discovered that Weinstein had been lying about sleeping with her for years, coercing countless women telling them that it would be “the best thing [they] could do for [their] career”. Disgusting.

5 Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie recently revealed: “I had a bad experience with Harvey Weinstein in my youth, and as a result, chose never to work with him again and warn others when they did”. “This behavior towards women in any field, any country is unacceptable,” she added.

As with Paltrow before her, Jolie also discussed the situation with Brad Pitt, but this time under different circumstances. Whereas Paltrow was implored to keep quiet on the matter a couple of decades ago, Jolie discussed coming forward with her allegations this time around. A source explained: “Angie discussed the situation with Brad before deciding to come forward and open up about what happened between her and Harvey, because it impacts on them as a family and she’s sensitive enough to know that communication matters.

Jolie hasn’t elaborated more yet on the details of her encounter with Weinstein, but she probably will soon enough.

4 Natassia Malthe

Although on the fence about coming forward, actress Natassia Malthe ultimately also added her experience in an effort to take down Weinstein. She shared the painful memory that although she refused his advances multiple times, he eventually resorted to simply showing up at her hotel room in 2008, demanding to be let in while pounding on the door. He then forced himself on her while implying that she would get a role in the upcoming movie “Nine” if she obliged.

"I was completely grossed out. I believe that I disassociated during the time that he was having sex with me. I laid still and closed my eyes and just wanted it to end. I was like a dead person. Afterwards I lay there in complete disgust," she said. Ultimately, the role went to someone else, especially since she refused to have a threesome with him soon after.

Malthe, who now has a three-year-old son, also added: “I had experienced sexual harassment from other powerful men in Hollywood, but my experiences with Harvey were the worst.”

3 Mira Sorvino

Blacklisted from Hollywood for a long time now, Mira Sorvino shared that when she was in Toronto to promote her 1995 movie Might Aphrodite, Weinstein made a move on her: "He started massaging my shoulders, which made me very uncomfortable, and then tried to get more physical, sort of chasing me around." Although she struggled to get him to back off, she resorted to saying that it was against her religion to date married men and managed to escape the room.

After a few weeks went by, Weinstein randomly showed up at her apartment claiming to want to discuss new marketing ideas for the film. She revealed: "I opened the door terrified, brandishing my 20-pound Chihuahua mix in front of me, as though that would do any good." He only left when she said that her boyfriend was on the way. The “boyfriend” was actually just a friend she had desperately called minutes before to come save her. Feeling afraid and intimidated, she chose not to come forward with her allegations, especially since she felt her initial success was partly thanks to him: “I have great respect for Harvey as an artist, and owe him and his brother a debt of gratitude for the early success in my career, including the Oscar.

2 Sean Young

“Blade Runner” star and mom of two Sean Young has come forward detailing her own experience with the monstrous producer. She recalled that during the production of her 1992 film “Love Crimes”, he exposed himself to her, to which she basically replied: “You know, Harvey, I don’t really think you should be pulling that thing out, it’s not very pretty”. She managed to leave the room, but thereafter received a bad reputation in Hollywood for saying no. “The minute you actually stand up for yourself in Hollywood, you’re the crazy one,” she said.

Even more surprisingly is that although she had spoken up about Weinstein’s actions, she was instead ostracized by the community with Barbara Streisand allegedly telling her that her speaking up about it to the press was “disgusting”. Years later and now that Weinstein has been taken down, Streisand apparently has no memory of ever saying that though.

1 Connie Nielsen

One of the lucky ones to avoid Weinstein’s infamous hotel room meetings, Connie Nielsen instead had to dismayingly fight Weinstein off in public. Warned not to go up to his room for drinks, she avoided him like the plague but was absolutely shocked when he took her hand during the opening night of “Great Raid”, where both her boyfriend and brother were present as well. She recalled: “I grabbed his hand and squeezed it violently to hurt him and proceeded to hold it in place on his own thigh. I steered clear of him as soon as I could for the rest of the evening but soon forgot about it, until the New York Times and New Yorker pieces set off a landslide.”
