Some of these stars' fame has since dwindled, while others have become A-list Oscar winners who are still turning heads everywhere they go.

20 Rider Strong - Bestfriend On Boy Meets World 

Rider Strong is best known for playing Shawn Hunter on the hit 90s sitcom Boy Meets World. The way his chestnut hair hung perfectly just around his alluring eyes made more than a few young girls weak in the knees. He was suave, cool, collected and charming.

Today, Strong is just as effortlessly up-to-the-minute and debonair. After his stint on 90s television, he spent some time out of the spotlight, but has since had success directing, producing and screenwriting. He also recently reprised his role as Shawn Hunter on the Boy Meets World spinoff, Girl Meets World.

When asked in 2011 by Vanity Fair magazine if being a former child star has made it easier for him to break into filmmaking, he responded, "I think it's easier for me to get my foot in the door, but it's harder to be taken seriously once I'm there. They go, 'Oh, he's actually legitimized in some ways. He's part of the industry.' But once I meet with [them] and they know the show, I'm just a child actor trying to do something else. So I have to prove myself against that."

19 Leonardo DiCaprio - Angelic Look From Romeo + Juliet 

 

 

 

Where do we start with this gem of a man? Leonardo DiCaprio first made girls everywhere sigh when he appeared on Growing Pains, and, like a fine wine, he just gets better as he ages. His angelic, beautiful face, azure eyes and killer smile were perfection when he played Romeo in the 1996 film Romeo + Juliet. Anyone still unaware of Leo's captivating powers definitely fell under his spell after watching him portray the carefree character Jack Dawson in 1997's Titanic.

Sure, the now 43-year-old DiCaprio has put on a few pounds, and is a bit rougher around the edges than he used to be, but this doesn't stop him from traipsing around the globe with a harem of hot young models. The actor recently won his first Oscar for his breathtaking performance in The Revenant. He is also an outspoken environmental activist.

18 Dustin Diamond - Screech From Saved By The Bell 

Dustin Diamond is best known for his role as Screech, the nerdy-yet-adorable best friend of troublemaker Zack Morris on the television series Saved by the Bell, which aired from 1989 until 1993. While Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Mario Lopez played the two characters on the show who got all the ladies, Diamond had a vulnerable charm about him that had many of his fans majorly crushing on him.

Diamond has stayed mostly out of the spotlight since his days spent playing Bayside High's biggest goofball, but he has done a few things that have brought him some attention. He is most known these days for his appearance in a sex tape that was released online, and his stint on Celebrity Fit Club. Diamond has also written a memoir entitled Behind the Bell about his experience being a child star.

Diamond once shared, "I'm a shepherd, not a sheep, and I've always prided myself on being a leader and not a follower."

17 Jodi Sweetin - Stephanie Tanner From Full House 

Actress Jodi Sweetin became a major star after she was cast as Stephanie Tanner on the hit series Full House when she was just 5 years old. As she grew up in front of the camera, her fans couldn’t help but fall for her adorable smile and precocious nature. It wasn’t long before guys everywhere had crushes on the fictional character. When Sweetin was 13, Full House was canceled. The child star took the break up of her of her television family pretty hard, and she blames the ending of the show on the beginning of her addictions to drugs and alcohol.

After going through some dark times, making a few guest appearances on television shows, making a few B-list films, writing a memoir and enduring two painful divorces, Sweetin has come out of her hardships smelling like roses. She currently stars in a reboot of the show that made her a star, Fuller House, alongside many of her former castmates. She is the mother of two beautiful daughters: Zoie and Beatrix.

Sweetin once wisely mused, “Life isn’t like a Full House episode.”

16 Taylor Lautner - From Sharkboy To Werewolf 

Taylor Lautner first gained fame when he appeared in movie The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl, but he became a bona fide heartthrob when he took on the role of Jacob Black in the film Twilight in 2008. He was named one of People magazine's "100 Most Beautiful People" in 2009. His washboard abs may have helped him gain some major attention, but his acting chops aren't bad either. Girls everywhere were green with envy when he and Taylor Swift got hot and heavy for a few months, only adding to his appeal.

During the years Lautner starred in Twilight, he also appeared in the films Valentines Day and Abduction. His last big role was in Adam Sandler’s 2013 comedy Grown Ups 2, but the star has kept a pretty low profile ever since. Where has he been? Maybe he really is a werewolf and he’s currently hunting shirtless in the mountains. Hey, a girl can dream.

Lautner once admitted, “I get nervous before everything...dates, filming, award shows. I just don’t want to say something stupid. But as soon as I step out on that stage, or as soon as I show up to a date, it all goes away, and I just have a great time with whoever I’m with.”

15 Devon Sawa - Casper The "Studly" Ghost 

Devon Sawa was all-the-rage in the 90s. He appeared in the now-iconic film The Sandlot, but got his real big break when he starred alongside Christina Ricci and Bill Pullman in the film Casper. Young girls everywhere most definitely swooned when the friendly ghost turned from cartoon to totally hot human manboy. Hubba hubba. Sawa also had roles in the 90s films Now and Then, Night of the Twisters and SLC Punk!.

Speaking about his experience being a star while also attempting to complete high school, Sawa has shared, "I spent most of my high school years on movie sets and I’d have like one teacher, which was really bad."

Devon is no longer a major star, but did have a recurring role on the series Nikita from 2010 to 2013, and has since become a family man. He married Dawni Sahanovitch in 2010 and the he and his lady love have two children together: a son, Hudson and a daughter, Scarlett.

14 Emma Watson - Little Hermione 

Emma Watson won the world over after landing her first major role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films. She grew up in front of Potterheads everywhere, and many fell in love with her right along with Ron Weasley.

Watson has since grown into a beautiful, strong woman. She became certified to teach yoga and meditation in 2013, and graduated from Brown University with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature in May of 2014. The actress’s roles during and since Harry Potter have included Nicki Moore in The Bling Ring in 2013, Ila in Noah in 2014, and, most notably, Belle in Beauty and the Beast in 2017. She is an outspoken activist for feminism and women’s rights and was appointed to be a UN women Goodwill ambassador in 2014.

Watson has said, “I’m going to do what I want to do. I’m going to be who I really am. I’m going to figure out what that is.”

13 Zac Efron - Disney Channel Heartthrob 

Zac Efron had a normal middle class childhood, but quickly gained notice after his drama teacher introduced him to an agent in Los Angeles. Efron first appeared in guest roles on a variety of different television shows including ER, The Guardian and Summerland. However, his major mainstream success followed the premier of the made-for-TV movie High School Musical on the Disney channel in 2006, in which Efron played the leading male role of Troy Bolton.

His baby blues, velvet voice, killer dance moves and come-hither smile had ladies from age 5 to 95 crushing on him as soon as they viewed the hit film that inspired two sequels. Since making it big, Efron has starred in a long list of major motion pictures including 17 Again, The Lucky One, NeighborsDirty Grandpa and Baywatch. What's next for this hottie? He stars alongside veteran actor Hugh Jackman in the upcoming film The Greatest Showman.

Zac's humility makes him even more of a lovely human being. He once stated, “I might not be the greatest actor, but I walk into every project willing to work hard.” Sigh.

12 Mark Paul Gosselaar - Remember Him? 

Mark-Paul Gosselaar is best known for his role as the scheming, flirting star of Saved by the Bell. He had a sweet side, a sneaky side and propensity for getting himself into and out of sticky situations. He also had girls everywhere wishing they went to Bayside High.

Gosselaar once shared, “I have a hard time watching the shows now. It is like opening up a yearbook when you were in junior high. I think everybody looks back at their photos and cringe, and I get to experience it with everybody else in the world looking at mine.” We beg to differ. He’s simply adorable in every scene of the syndicated show.

Today, Gosselaar has many acting projects under his belt including playing John Clark on NYPD Blue and Peter Bash in Franklin & Bash. He is also busy raising his four children, two of whom he shares with his ex-wife, Lisa Ann Russell, and the two he has with his current wife, Catriona McGinn. Mr. Belding would be proud. 

11 Tiffani Thiessen - Beverly Hills Babe 

Tiffani Thiessen is best known for her television roles as Kelly Kapowski on Saved by the Bell and as Valerie Malone on Beverly Hills, 90210. While Kelly was sweet and good natured, Valerie had a more sultry, sinister side. Both characters drove fans everywhere wild.

Thiessen once joked,“My mom always taught me to be sweet and polite and cross my legs because it’s what the guys like. Actually, they like a raunchy girl once in awhile.” It seems it didn't matter if Thiessen was playing a demure valley girl or a vivacious vixen, her admirers loved both. Thiessen has also admitted, “People expect me to be thin and perfect...I’m not.”

Since her days spent as a teen heartthrob, the actress has starred in a plethora of movies and television shows. She has been married to actor Brady Smith since 2005, and she and her man have two adorable children, Harper and Holt, together. 

10 Adam Brody - Perfect Boyfriend Seth Cohen 

Adam Brody became the most desired nerd in Hollywood in the early 2000s thanks to his role as Seth Cohen on The O.C.. The actor once joked, "And in a world without heroes, as the movie trailer voice-over guy might say, the slightly awkward can be slightly cool.” Slightly cool is an understatement. Ask any O.C. fan what they think of Seth's character. It's most likely the answer will be, "He's hot, hot, hot!" 

Speaking about his time spent playing America's favorite comic book lover, Brody has said, “I’m super proud to have a sort of famous character in my background that if you’re a certain age, he was probably a part of you youth. I think that’s pretty cool.”

Since The O.C.'s end, Brody has appeared in many major motion pictures. Some of his most recent films include Lovelace, Life Partners and Sleeping with Other People. He married actress Leighton Meester in 2014, and the two have an adorable daughter together named Arlo Day.

9 Andrew Keegan - Kissable Lips 

Those dimples! That thick, curly hair! Those kissable lips! Andrew Keegan was undoubtedly one of the most beloved teen stars of the 90s. His breakout role was as bad boy Zack Dell in the film Camp Nowhere. He then landed a part in the smash hit Independence Day. He later became a television darling, and starred in the wildly popular shows Party of Five and 7th Heaven. Many also remember his wonderful performance in the beloved 1999 film 10 Things I Hate About You.

At the height of his popularity, Keegan was one well-loved guy. He once shared, "I used to get, like, 2,000 letters a week at one point." He has also admitted, "I did have a literal shed of fan mail once. It was literally filled with, like, 25 of those giant mail cartons." We get it, Andrew. You had a lot of fans, and we can't say we blame them for bombarding you with snail mail.

Keegan and his girlfriend, Arista Ilona, welcomed a baby girl named Aiya Rose to the world in 2016. He told People magazine soon after his daughter's arrival, "I'm like an electric blanket...When she lays on my, she falls asleep."

8 Mischa Barton - The O.C. Starlette

Mischa Barton appeared in the films Notting Hill and The Sixth Sense before becoming a household name after landing the role of Marissa Cooper on television series The O.C.. Her bronzed skin, sunkissed locks and deep, troubled eyes drove fans wild, and she was named "It Girl" by Entertainment Weekly soon after the show became a success. 

Barton once mused, “It kind of irritates me that I’m seen as this pretty face. People also say I’m too thin. The truth is, pretty people aren’t as accepted as other people. It comes with all these stigmas...It’s like, ‘She’s pretty and thin and she’s got to have problems. She’s messed up.'”

Since catapulting into the spotlight, Barton has faced her share of struggles. She  was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and possession of marijuana in 2007. After cleaning up her act, Barton appeared on Dancing with the Stars in 2016, and starred in the film Deserted, which was released in June of 2016. In January of 2017, she was found in her backyard screaming and was taken to the hospital for a mental health evaluation. She spoke up about the incident on the Dr. Phil show in April of 2017 and shared that her breakdown was a result of exhaustion and anxiety brought on by a hectic work schedule.

7 Joshua Jackson - Dawson's Creek 

Joshua Jackson got his start in a Keebler potato chips commercial, then went on to star as Charlie Conway in the 1992 Disney film The Mighty Ducks and its two sequels. The actor once joked, "Nobody criticizes the Mighty Ducks trilogy and gets away with it. Nobody!" Fans who loved Jackson in the film were in for a treat when he landed the role of Pacey Witter on the television series Dawson's Creek, which premiered in 1998.

Jackson has gone on to star in a variety of different television and film roles. He currently stars as the brooding Cole Lockhart on the hit Showtime drama, The Affair, and those who grew up crushing on him are in for plenty of steamy scenes on the series.

He recently split from longtime girlfriend Diane Kruger. The ruggedly handsome actor once stated, "If I only dated actresses, I'd be a very lonely man." Hear that, single ladies? If you've always harbored the hope of being Jackson's main squeeze one day, your future with him may yet be bright. Never say never.

6 Joseph Gordon Levitt - Angels In The Outfield

Joseph Gordon Levitt became a household name after landing a role in the 90s sitcom 3rd Rock From The Sun. He went on to star in Angels In The Outfield and Ten Things I Hate About You, two roles that undoubtedly solidified his stance as a teen heartthrob. His squinty smile and deep brown eyes are as alluring as they are adorable.

Gordon has since proven he's much more than just a pretty face. Some of his most notable films from the last decade include 500 Days of Summer, The Dark Knight Rises, Don Jon, Looper and Snowden.

Leavitt married his wife Tasha McCauley in a hush-hush ceremony. He has since shared, "You know, we kept our wedding a secret. It wasn't that difficult because we didn't tell many people about it." He recently told Playboy, "I'm reluctant to talk about being married because I'm married to a woman who doesn't like strangers being privy to her life and relationships." 5 Lindsay Lohan - Young And Talented

Lindsay Lohan burst onto the acting scene after playing twins in Disney's remake of The Parent Trap. Her talent was apparent right from the beginning. Her smattering of freckles and auburn hair gave her a unique edge, and helped to set her apart from other child stars of the day. Lohan quickly became a Hollywood "It Girl," and went on to star in many well-loved films including Freaky Friday, Mean Girls and Herbie: Fully Loaded.

Sadly, it didn't take long for Lohan's meteoric rise to fame to take a toll on her health and well-being. She has battled addictions to drugs and alcohol since her teenage years, a problem that eventually caused her career to take a nosedive. She has sought help in the form of rehabilitation clinics. During a sting in rehab in 2007, Lohan told People magazine, "I have made a proactive decision to take care of my personal health. I appreciate your well wishes and ask that you please respect my privacy at this time.”

Today, Lohan is working hard to mend her troubled past. She was recently spotted out and about with a copy of the Koran in her arms, and many have speculated that she has converted to Islam. Her most recent film project is the 2017 film The Shadow Within in which she plays Patricia, a private investigator who is secretly a werewolf.

4 Hanson - The Perfect Blond Boy Band 

The Hanson brothers Isaac, Taylor and Zac were a beloved threesome back in the 90s. Their chart-topping song, "MMMBop," was the most well-loved track on their 1997 debut album Middle of Nowhere, and became an instant hit. Fans have been singing their praises ever since.

The middle brother and lead singer, Taylor, once mused, "You can say we’re trying too hard or that we didn’t try hard enough, but we’re just doing what we do...Hanson has rapid female fans, which I’m completely proud of, but a lot of fans are a contingent that have grown up with us really...our peers. There’s younger fans. More and more guys are Hanson fans, musicians or kind of guys who were into a Beatles record.”

Isaac married a woman named Nicole Dufrense after he spotted her in the audience during one of the band's 2003 concerts. They now have three children together. Taylor wed Natalie Anne Bryant in 2002, and the lovebirds have five children together. Zac has four children with his wife, Kate Tucker, whom he married in 2006. Hanson most recently released a Christmas album entitled Finally It's Christmas in October of 2017.

3 Ben Savage - Cute Kid Cory Matthews 

Actor Ben Savage is best known for his role as Cory Matthews on the hit ABC sitcom, Boy Meets World. He starred in the series from 1993 until the year 2000, when the show saw its end. His boyish grin, curly dark locks and goofy personality gained him a plethora of female fans.

After Boy Meets World ended, Savage appeared in a variety of different film and television productions. He graduated from Stanford University in 2004 with a degree in Political Science. Savage’s fans around the world rejoiced when he tweeted the news that he would be reprising his role as Cory Matthews on a Disney Channel spinoff of his formerly successful show called Girl Meets World. In the series, Matthews is now married to his high school sweetheart, Topanga, and the couple have two children together. 2 Alyssa Milano - 90s Babe

Alyssa Milano got her start on the small screen and became a household name after she was cast as Samantha in one of the most popular sitcoms of the 90s, Who's the Boss. She grew from an adorable little girl into a beautiful woman in front of America's eyes. She went on to play Phoebe on the series Charmed, another role that garnered the star a long list of loyal fans, many of whom were majorly crushing on her.

Milano is now a mother of two, and an outspoken activist for women's rights. She is currently the host of Project Runway All-stars, and is also working on a variety of other acting projects. The successful celebrity has a clothing line called Touch by Alyssa Milano that allows women to look their best while dressing to support their favorite NBA and NFL teams.

Milano is pretty open and unfiltered, and has spoken about her love of physical intimacy. She once stated, "I think we’re in a time when everyone’s afraid to have sex. But I was raised being beautiful and healthy." She has also said, "I feel a lot healthier when I’m having sex." 

1 Jonathan Taylor Thomas - Home Improvement 

Jonathan Taylor Thomas was considered to be all that and a bag of chips by girls who grew up in the 90s. He is best known for his role as Randy Taylor on the sitcom Home Improvement. He also voiced the character young Simba in Disney’s 1994 film The Lion King. If you grew up in the 90s and didn’t have a JTT poster on your wall, you were definitely in the minority. His baby blues, charming smile, tanned skin and perfect profile were just a few of the reasons he had fans everywhere declaring their undying love for him.

Since his days in the spotlight, Thomas has gone on to do some pretty impressive stuff. He studied philosophy and history at Harvard University before studying abroad at Scotland’s St. Andrews University. The actor graduated from the Columbia University School of General Studies in 2010. He has appeared in various television and big screen roles over the years, most recently reprising his role of Randy Taylor in a guest appearance on the sitcom Last Man Standing which stars his former TV father, Tim Allen.
