20 Jewel Brought Us Pieces Of You

Jewel had huge success in the '90s. Her first studio album was Pieces of You which was released in 1995 and by 1998 she was singing "The National Anthem" at the Superbowl.

These days Jewel is still making music but just not on the level that she used to and that’s a personal choice. She has stated that fame didn’t make her very happy. "Fame happens sometimes at a pace that causes a lot of psychological problems," she told CNN. "So my mission, number one, was to be a happy, whole human, and number two was to be a musician. And that's what I've been doing my whole [adult life], and that's where I am today." She has a seven-year-old son, who lives in Nashville with her.

19 Shania Twain Moved to England

Shania Twain only had one son Eja throughout the years but it could have a lot to do with her job being stalled and the health issues that she faced. She was at the peak of her adult life in the late '90s when she lost her voice. Many people wondered what happened to her. “I did want a break. But, of course, I would have never stayed away 15 years.” She told The Guardian. “I was too embarrassed to tell anybody that I couldn’t sing. For a long time, I didn’t even know why I couldn’t sing.”

18 Scary Spice Now Has Her Own Little Girl Group

We knew Mel B as Scary Spice in the popular pop band Spice Girls. The five girls look better now than they ever did and they have all moved on from the band to have a family. She had three children by three different men and says that she wouldn’t have it any other way. “I’ve got three daughters by three different men, three different solid relationships. I would never want to talk bad about any of their fathers,” Brown said to People. “We made beautiful babies together and all three babies were made with a lot of love,” she explained.

Geri Halliwell gave birth to her first daughter, Bluebell, in 2006 with then-boyfriend Sacha Gervasi. Her daughter, Natasha is 18 years old now and is the spitting image of her mother. “My mother would say, ‘Until you’re a mom, you won’t understand love.’ I’d roll my eyes when I heard that, but you and I know she’s right,” she said to People. “When [I wrote] ‘Winter’ I was imagining my father and my grandfather. Now the ‘film’ is watching my daughter with her dad. Both of the films live when I’m performing and hearing that ‘Winter’ now.”
