Whether someone is a parent or not, most people will agree that taking care of a household is no easy task. The bigger the house, the more there is to clean. Imagine how luxurious it would be to never have to make your own bed, do your own laundry, and especially wash the dishes after cooking. Considering that most celebrities can afford an army of staff to do their dirty work, we can’t imagine their homes looking anything less than perfect… but there are some celebs who surprise us!
Just because a star can afford to hire help, it doesn’t mean that their home is always spotless. Specifically, if the celebrity is known to be messy, then chances are their mansions reflect that. We imagine that Queen Bey has an army of staff that helps her keep her home spick and span. And it sounds like the pop star needs it, since she’s self-admittedly not a very tidy person! Back in 2009, the singer told Ebony magazine that she’s definitely not the neatest person.
“I’m a little messy!” she said. “[At home] I don’t have any shoes on. No makeup. My shoes are left at the door. My purse is in the kitchen. I’m relaxed!” Beyoncé added that it tends to drive her husband, Jay-Z, a bit crazy! “I think that is the most difficult thing for [him],” she said. “He’s very, very organized.”

With his wild reputation - and tendency to throw even wilder parties - no one thought that Kardashian baby daddy Scott Disick would be the cleanest person in the world. And our thoughts were confirmed when a former employee of the reality star came forward to say that Scott is, in fact, a pretty messy celebrity.
“[Scott was] a complete and utter mess,” Scott’s former housekeeper dished to In Touch, implying that Scott’s party hard habits were to blame for the state of his home. “[He was] constantly [in a certain state] and would leave empty bottles [all over] the place.”

Britney Spears is another celebrity who’s so wealthy that we can’t imagine she doesn’t have an army of staff to clean up after her. But that doesn’t mean she makes their job easy! A few years ago, a former employee of the pop star revealed to Star magazine that the singer is anything but clean.
The former housekeeper admitted to finding half-eaten food under Brit Brit’s bed, including a moldy burger, fries, and unfinished cookies. She added that Britney’s bedroom floor is always covered in clothes and that she makes no effort to hide items many would care to keep private on her nightstand.

17 Jessica Simpson
Jessica Simpson proved on her ill-fated reality show Newlyweds that she’s anything but a traditional wife. So no one expects her to be worrying about how spick and span her household is. But evidently the celebrity is really lax when it comes to the cleanliness of her home- at least that’s what a former employee once said about the star.
Speaking to Star magazine, the ex-employee said that Jessica’s home was always covered in hair from her extensions. “It looks like an animal has been shedding all over her house,” they said. They also added that they once thought they saw a massive spider in the corner… but it turned out to just be Jessica’s old eyelash!

Kate Hudson has always prided herself on being a free-spirit, and it looks like she takes a pretty relaxed approach when it comes to keeping up with her household. The celebrity once surprised fans when she uploaded an uber-messy selfie to social media, revealing she doesn’t care if the world knows she’s a bit (or a lot) messy.
The selfie featured Kate in a matching red and white polka dot bikini. Her assistant could be seen in the background holding an assortment of clothes as she tried to navigate the mess on the ground. It appeared that Kate was likely packing for an upcoming trip if the assortment of clothes and accessories sprawled out on the floor were any hint.
15 Jessa Duggar
Jessa sparked controversy when she posted a series of photos of her home that featured sheets stained with vomit, a dusty side table, a mirror filled with fingerprints, dirty diapers, dirty dishes, and also a food-stained oven. However, the reality star said she was trying to make a point with her post.
“We all try to put our best foot forward and are most comfortable posting our ‘highlight reel’ for people on social media to see,” the mom-of-two wrote in the post. “I could’ve waited 24hrs and posted pics of everything freshly cleaned and looking beautiful […] certainly people would find no fault with that…. But many find fault with themselves. I didn’t do that for a reason: reality.

Fans have long criticized Teen Mom couple Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra for what appears like a messy home on camera. But these two take the naysayers with a grain of salt.
A few months ago, Tyler posted a video of their daughter Novalee bringing her mom breakfast in bed and their messy house was visible. Tyler followed his post up with a video of himself making funny of their disorganized home.
“Warning, this video contains a high amount of graphic injuries and complete destruction of a parents bedroom,” he wrote in the caption. “So I apologize to all of you ‘perfect’ parents that have your bedrooms clean and spotless.’

Kim Kardashian and her husband Kanye West have always seemed like polar opposites. And if their cleaning habits are any hint, then it sounds like we're right!
“He’s a neat freak, she’s a mess,” a source told Dish Nation about the famous couple. “She always just throws her clothes on the floor after taking them off, leaves puddles of water around the sink after she washes her face, and refuses to close drawers and cabinets.”
“He had to make his bed every morning before school and clean his room daily. He learned to be tidy as a young boy and its stayed with him ever since,” the insider continued. “Kim is the opposite. She never had to be super tidy, so she’s not. Kanye was stunned when she told him she didn’t even know how to clean a toilet!”

“One of the [roughest] is Leah, filthiest person I’ve met,” the source said. “When feeding the twins, she would spill a bunch of cheese puffs on the ... carpet and the girls would crawl around and suck up the cheese puffs, no hands involved. This made me cry a few times.”
The insider continued. “Dog poop on the floor ... tampons sitting in a corner for months, weeks old food everywhere.” Yikes!

Last year, Jenelle and her husband David Eason finished building their dream home on a large piece of property they’ve aptly titled ‘The Land.’ But fans were surprised to see that the home was still pretty messy, even after they moved their kids in. Post on social media showed construction materials left idly inside and outside the home.

George Clooney has always seemed like the epitome of sophistication, but his employees may beg to differ. Several years ago, a former housekeeper for the actor came forward to reveal his less-than-clean habits. The ex-employee described George as a “disgusting pig” who burped and farted purposefully in front of the help, Radar Online reports.
Even more, the former employee added that George made it very clear he didn’t trust his staff. “He has his decanters marked so he can see exactly how much is in them to make sure nobody ever secretly takes a swig,” the source dished. Sounds like a high-stress environment to work in!
1 Kirstie Alley
Actress Kirstie Alley has long made headlines for her ridiculous comments, but a few years back, it was her former housekeeper gaining attention for what she had to say. According to the former employee, Kirstie doesn’t care about the state of her house at all and prefers to let her pets have reign of the household.
The source told Star Magazine that the celeb’s assortment of cats and dogs kept making a mess of her home. “The place is often littered with what Kirstie calls ‘little surprises,’” the insider explained.
Kirstie has since complained on social media about the difficulties of finding good hired help. “The hardest jobs to fill these days are the simple ones. I hire everywhere I travel. Not kidding on housekeeping,” she wrote in 2017, which left many fans feeling disgruntled.
