20 Sephora Products She Can Still Wear While Pregnant

For many women, wearing makeup is just a part of everyday life. It's something that fills her routine, a way that she starts the day, marks the beginning of a night out, or simply just something that makes her feel a little more human. Makeup can be a wonderful extension of natural features or a vibrant and creative way to express personality, but becoming pregnant can throw all of that into question. What many moms-to-be may not know, is that there are certain chemicals she should look for and stay away from throughout her pregnancy. Since she has another tiny human growing inside her it becomes even more imperative that the products she puts on her face (that eventually become somewhat absorbed through the skin) remain natural and safe, which is why we've done the research.

Any Sephora lovers out there? Us, too! Makeup junkies know that Sephora is the be-all and end-all to what was once a fruitful paycheck and they do have some outrageous and well-worth-it products. However, many of the brands Sephora is known for are not products that fall on the safer side of pregnancy, but there's good news...There are PLENTY of products that are certified all-natural by Sephora and are just as high-quality, if not better, than what mom is already used to using. Move aside Urban Decay, we've got some natural replacements.

20 Indie Lee Brightening Cleanser

https://www.pinterest.ca/vitabotanica/s-k-i-n-c-a-r-e/?lp=true

What's the first step to having healthy, glowing skin? Finding a moisturizer that's conducive to said glow! Many facial cleansers have harsh products that are actually super drying and can potentially be harmful to the skin. When you're pregnant and have hormones that are all over the chart, a well-balanced and natural cleanser is much better for you. The Indie Lee Brightening Cleanser is perfect for all skin types (as are most of the products on this list) and excludes drying alcohol, sulfates, parabens, phthalates, and numerous other chemicals (that most of the time we can't pronounce, anyway) that can hurt your skin rather than help it. This cleanser will remove all traces of makeup while giving your face that clean, healthy glow with an overload of antioxidants, vitamin C, and plant extracts. It's so gentle that it doubles as a face mask as well for those days when you need a little extra sumthin' sumthin'.

19 Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream

http://yasminbrowne.com/origins-ginzing-refreshing-eye-cream/

We all know that pregnancy can cause a LOT of undereye darkness, whether it's from lack of sleep or just stress in general. While being in stressful situations is obviously discouraged during pregnancy, sometimes you just can't help it -- Which is where the Origins GinZing eye cream comes in. The story goes that an Ethiopian Shepard was the first person to ever discover coffee beans, and after he saw his goats dancing happily around the plant, decided to try them himself. The rest is history and, well, a part of the GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream. With the addition of magnolia extract and all-natural brighteners, it'll leave your eyes looking rested and refreshed, leaving you feeling rejuvenated, and the best part? It's safe for you and your baby.

18 Boscia Cactus Water Moisturizer

Before any kind of makeup routine, there should be some kind of moisturizing going on especially if you're prone to dry skin. During pregnancy, your hormonal imbalances can cause a serious funk within your skin cells, causing your face to be oily, dry, or even a combination of the two. Boscia created this moisturizer to combat dryness no matter what you're dealing with and they're doing it with a crazy natural formula that's really one of a kind. The Queen of the Night Cactus is responsible for this purely magical moisturizer and we promise you that your makeup routine will never be the same afterward. It's like packing a water-filled (gentle) punch to your face, filled with hydrating ingredients that will reduce dryness, dullness, and make your face feel like your soon-to-be baby's skin...Which, you know, is a good thing. While this isn't a substitute for drinking water every day, it's certainly a step in the right direction for regulating your body outside as well in.

17 Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40

http://www.tarasowlaty.com/blog/2017/12/29/spf-obsessed-supergoop

I know, this sunscreen doesn't really sound like something you'd love to slather all over your face. Supergoop is the oddly-named sunscreen that sounds funky but is seriously awesome. Not only does it protect you from the sun with an SPF of 40, but Supergoop was smart enough to include red algae which also protects you from blue light -- the light that electronics (like your phone, iPad, television) emit. Crazy, right? It also helps to hydrate skin with the addition of meadowfoam seed oil and works perfectly as a "weightless" primer before doing your makeup. It's cruelty-free, all-natural and free of harsh chemicals you can't pronounce, and will ultimately save your extra-sensitive pregnancy skin from the harmful effects of the sun. It might sound superfreaky but it's really Super-good (see what I did there?).

16 Supergoop Invincible Setting Powder SPF 45

http://www.theraeviewer.com/2018/02/best-of-supergoop-invincible-setting.html

What's going to hold all of that beautiful makeup in place, you ask? Supergoop Invincible Setting Powder, of course. The number of chemicals and ingredients that are found in powders that aren't all-natural or organic is kind of insane, which is why we were happy to find a setting powder that says "no" to all of that. With the same natural promise Supergoop gives on their other makeup products, this setting powder is no different. Don't worry, this one is safe as well...Not only is it free of unsavory ingredients, but it's offered in four different shade ranges, one of which is a translucent, color-free powder for the most flawless of applications. I'm going to go ahead and give Supergoop two thumbs up for this one, a setting powder that protects against UV rays, offers options for everyone, is made for any skin type, and gives you a satin finish? Supergoop calls their powder "next level", and we're going to have to go ahead and say "bring us up" to that.

15 rms beauty Living Luminizer

http://glittermagrocks.com/connect/2017/09/15/glow-with-rms-beauty-bronzer-and-luminizer/

Your highlight game should be strong, even while you're pregnant! If you're a fan of makeup and loving that pregnancy glow but want to bring it up just a tad, rms beauty has you covered. This natural finish, hypoallergenic, gluten-free, cruelty-free, noncomedogenic highlighter is exactly what you've been searching for your entire life. It's mess-free which we think is important because pregnancy can definitely increase the discomfort of things that never used to bother you pre-baby. It'll give you that youthful, natural, dewy finish without increasing concerns about what you're putting on your skin. The certified "clean" seal from Sephora and rms beauty can help you put your mind at ease and assure you that yes, you can absolutely embrace the glow-up.

14 Lilah B Virtuous Veil Concealer & Eye Primer

https://www.bloglovin.com/blogs/beauty-professor-3839673/a-beautifully-relaxed-approach-to-cyber-monday-6014783061

Oily skin can cause eyeshadows to slide around and crease, while dry skin makes them nearly impossible to blend out (and blending, as we all know, is life when it comes to makeup). Having an eye primer that keeps those colors stuck all day while benefitting your skin can be everything when you're looking for a frustration-free way to make your lids pop. The price of these products might seem steep but keep in mind -- Not only are you getting a product that's been certified amazing, but you're getting one that has the extra-added bonus of helping and improving the life and look of your skin. This primer doubles as a concealer and has been formulated with sea fennel which, fun fact, will deliver significant hydration, healthy radiant glow, and oxygen directly to your occasionally tired but still gorgeous eyelids.

13 Antonym Certified Organic Highlighter

http://www.makeupandbeautyblog.com/antonym-cosmetics/antonym-cosmetics-organic-certified-highlighting-blush-cheek-crush/

Antonym offers this highlight both as a general highlighter and a highlighting blush for girls who want a bit more "pretty in pink" look to their cheeks. Both are stunning and will help you radiate your confident glow from the inside out. It's amazing what a small brush of highlighter to the cheekbones can do; if you're feeling down then it's definitely worth a try...I promise you won't be disappointed when you see your gorgeous glowy face looking back at you! This highlighter is awesomely eco-friendly as well as cruelty-free which means that not only is it safe to use during your pregnancy, but you'll feel good using it. Go ahead, try on that insanely natural glow and get used to your new, radiant self.

12 Antonym Certified Organic Baked Foundation

http://twinspiration.co/antonym-cosmetics-review/

One of the most challenging all-natural products to find is probably foundation, with eyeshadow being a close second. Because foundation covers your entire face (and occasionally neck as well), it's soaked in more heavily than other makeup products and thus exposes you, completely, to whatever ingredients are used. While baked foundations might be new to you and kind of intimidating, don't even stress this one! Antonym is known for making high-quality, easy to use products. The coverage you'll get from this foundation is light which is great during pregnancy because it won't hide any natural glow (and if it does, you can just use their highlighter!), won't clog up pores, and will absorb any extra oil in the process. Its six shades lend themselves to a pretty decent range and since the coverage is so light, you won't need to worry about matching the powder color exactly.

11 Lawless Soft Matte Liquid Lipstick

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L39MbDJKkPA

Lipstick queens, I'm looking at you. Matte liquid lipstick is something that's still newly popular because apparently everyone is looking for that perfect lip that won't budge through a five-course dinner. Just kidding, liquid lipstick is awesome just because it lasts forever...Or is intended to, anyway! What makes Lawless such a great matte liquid lippie brand is the fact that these formulas are hydrating, promised not to crack, and give you some leeway when it comes to applying and reapplying. Many times with a matte liquid lipstick, they'll dry down too fast to re-layer or fix which just increases frustration and hatred for them. Lawless heard the pleas of women everywhere and created these lippies to give you a bit of extra time as well as a formula that won't budge while it's dry. Oh, yeah...Since there's a chance you might ingest it, it's completely safe, all-natural, cruelty-free, and without virtually all the products that make other liquid lipsticks a bit scary and unsafe during pregnancy. I saw WOOT to that red lip!

10 Lilah B. Divine Duo Lip & Cheek

https://www.jessoshii.com/lilah-b-lip-cheek-divine-duos/

Two-in-one products are the bomb, am I right? It's okay to not be a bold lip girl, in fact, an understated yet pretty subtle lip can go just as far. Lilah B. makes the cutest little lip & cheek-duo compacts and has a motto that we can definitely get behind: "With less, you are more." This is a beautiful way of saying that you don't need a ton of makeup, or super bold and vibrant makeup, to be simply stunning. Your natural self is perfect just the way you are and pregnancy is a beautiful thing, you wear the mark of motherhood and the statement of strength in doing so. This little duo is a nod to that and is vegan but also good for you as well with aloe, agar, and other hydrating and nourishing ingredients that are safe and natural. You can use it on the lips for a cute hint of color or on the cheeks for a subtle glow of pink.

9 Antonym Certified Organic Eyeshadow Quattro

https://thelillymintblog.com/2016/12/13/the-antonym-cosmetics-noisette-eyeshadow-quattro/

We just can't get away from Antonym products which means they're good, right? Wrong...It means they're great. The excitement was real when I realized that Antonym has a mini eyeshadow palette and it was at screech-level when I realized it comes in three different shades. With the promise that comes with all of their other all-natural, safe, products, this eyeshadow also makes very clear that it's for use on sensitive skin. You might break out at the drop of a hat when pregnant, get hives from the most random things, or just have skin that seems to stay dry for days. Antonym's eyeshadow can be easily blended, as vibrant or subtle as you like, and lends itself to a ton of various color combos and looks with only four colors to a palette. You don't have to put down the eyeshadow when you're pregnant, but you can pick up one that's safe for you. Mainly this one though, because it's gorgeous just like you are.

8 Viseart Eye Shadow Palette

https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/294282156894749278/?lp=true

Viseart, professionalism becomes you. It's a brand rarely seen outside the makeup kits of professional makeup artists, but Sephora is changing the game as far as that's concerned. Yes, the price is outrageous for some of Viseart's products but trust us, the payoff is even more outrageous. A little goes a (very, very) long way with these colors which means the palettes will last for long after your pregnancy is over, not to mention they're cruelty-free, organic, and don't contain any silicone or harsh chemicals. What you're paying for is an eyeshadow palette that opens up a world of color and provides the safety you need when you have a growing baby to worry about as well. Viseart has many palettes, but this is their standard eyeshadow line -- Did we mention there's 11 palettes to choose from with various matte and satin finishes? You're welcome.

7 Natasha Denona Eyeshadow Palette 10

http://www.kitschsnitch.com/2016/06/natasha-denona-brown-green-28-eyeshadow.html

Natasha Denona is known not just for her namesake, but also the stunning eye makeup her brand puts out. Created without any parabens, sulfates, or phthalates, this eyeshadow is safe to use while pregnant and serious packs a punch of colors. The entire palette is cool-toned and looks more like a work of art than a makeup palette, but we promise you this is worth it. With some unbelievable transition, highlight, contour, and lid colors, we're pretty sure you'll be spending plenty of that nine months of pregnancy trying to decide which color combinations you love the best. These tones would look flawless with brown or green eyes, and equally stunning with those peach shades on blue eyes. Let's not forget to mention that the palette is infused with crushed pearls for a natural shimmer...I mean, are you kidding me? Is this real life?

6 Sephora Collection Colorful Eyeshadow

http://diggylane.com/sephora-colorful-palette-review

Bang for your buck is what we like to say, and there's nothing stating that Sephora's own products can't also be safe to use during pregnancy. It's not true that you need to go out and spend "x" amount of money on a high-end brand to get superior quality, and some of Sephora's most well-known eyeshadows are safe for pregnant moms. The Sephora Collection Colorful Eyeshadow is one of the leading brands on the Restricted Substance list, excluding a full 1,400 ingredients from their products that might be unsafe during pregnancy, and in general. They've surpassed all necessary safety testing which will make you feel confident and good about using these eyeshadows, that just happen to come in 80 different colors and finishes.

5 BareMinerals Original Foundation

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bbutRffqpw

We don't need to drone on about how incredible BareMinerals is. Anyone who has seen the infomercials on the Home Shopping Network or watched makeup tutorials knows that they've got the upper hand when it comes to looking natural and using all-natural ingredients. This foundation made our list because it is the original and probably the easiest to throw on without a worry in the world about blending, and it's also totally safe for you during your pregnancy. As per safety requirements, this foundation excludes completely the addition of parabens, sulfates, and phthalates for a luxurious, flawless finish formula. It has SPF 15 to keep your skin sun-safe and is buildable, which puts it a step ahead of light coverage foundations. Not only is it great for any type of skin tone including combination, it comes in a range of 30 different shades which is truly amazing.

4 Benefit Cosmetics Hello Happy Soft Blur Foundation

https://www.finder.com.au/benefit-cosmetics-hello-happy-soft-blur-foundation

We know that powder foundation isn't everyone's bag, so a journey to find a liquid foundation that was safe, effective, and took minimal effort...Hello Happy Soft Blur Foundation was the answer to that search. Aside from the packaging which is totally adorable, this foundation is easy to work with, has a 12-shade range that's really good, gives you light-to-medium coverage, and is awesome for any skin type. Benefit Cosmetics is known for using the highest-quality ingredients and while they're not certified "Clean" by Sephora, this foundation is free of the chemicals you should stay away from while pregnant. Hello Happy helps to eliminate the look of big pores, smooths skin, and leaves a natural, soft finish that is just the look you need without feeling like you're wearing pounds of makeup.

3 rms Beauty Contour Bronzer

http://mygreenlivingdiary.com/rms-beauty-contour-vs-buriti-bronzer/

Can we just discuss for a second how gorgeous this bronzer is? It's like everything sunkissed skin has to offer, all neatly fit into a tiny compact that's ready to be used. This beauty brand already made its way onto our list but it's working its way back with for the bronze...Okay, really, for the gold in this case. You already know rms beauty is certified Sephora "Clean" but what you don't know is how ridiculous this bronzer is. It'll warm up your skin just enough to knock that pregnancy paleness right out, regardless of how sick you might have been feeling an hour prior. It's also great to contour with and sharpen up those cheekbones and jawlines that we love so much.

2 First Aid Beauty Hello FAB Mango Butter Multi Stick

https://blushingnoir.com/2018/06/first-aid-beauty-hello-fab-mango-butter-multi-stick-review-swatches/

First Aid Beauty is one of those brands that's underrated but also superior in the world of beauty. If you haven't tried anything from their line yet, pregnancy gives you a great excuse to do so. All of their products fall on the more natural side and are, of course, free of harsh chemicals. This Hello FAB Mango Butter Multi Stick has also been allergy-tested so you know it's a green light for sensitive skin. This stick of a highlighter was designed to improve the look of skin in the most natural way possible and is considered a "complexion finisher" because it's the final step in giving you that little extra boost of color and glow. It can be used all over your face anywhere you'd naturally want to show off some striking features -- cupid's bow, cheekbones, the tip of the nose, forehead, etc. Not to mention, it's formulated with mango which is a superfood.

1 Kora Organics Rose Quartz Luminizer

https://www.femalemag.com.sg/beauty/review-miranda-kerr-organic-beauty-brand/

I'm going to take a risk and say that if your beauty routine consists of nothing but a little powder and some mascara, you could probably do away with that and just use this Luminizer and be perfectly happy with the results. This product is certified "Clean" by Sephora and for good reason; obviously, it's organic, but it also does away with fragrances, artificial colors, T.E.A. and D.E.A. which are specifically noted on the pregnancy no-no list, and contains things that are actually good for you. Noni fruit extract, rose quartz, and coconut and rosehip oils help to rejuvenate, hydrate and nourish skin. It's meant to simply "melt" into the places you use it which leaves your face with nothing extra, just a natural, lovely finish. Plus, you'll probably smell like a rose-y fruit which isn't a bad thing.
