This is something that he and Kunis bought in order to be able to get a good night's sleep themselves. Of course, they will go in and make sure everything is okay if they need to, but they also wanted their kids to be able to get to sleep by themselves. Or, at least, with the help of a machine. But this didn't stop people from criticizing Kutcher and Kunis for making this choice.
