Chrissy Teigen is quickly becoming one of everyone's most favorite moms to watch on social media. The model, host, author, and mother of two has been open from the start about her journey through IVF to motherhood. She has never sugar-coated what it's like to be a mom or how she got there and we love her for it.

Having a newborn is tough, but it's even tougher when you're going through the newborn phase alone. Thankfully, Chrissy Teigen is here for you. Thanks to social media new moms can see how Teigen tackles being a mom of two-year-old daughter Luna and two month of Miles. She loves to share the day to day realities of parenting two small children with her fans and they can't help but relate.

Teigen is fully aware that she has more help than the average person and she doesn't try to hide it, which makes her posts even more relatable. It's nice to see that even the rich and famous have to deal with postpartum baby body changes, breastfeeding issues and lack of sleep like every other new mom!

Teigen's posts will make you laugh and cheer, but even better they'll let you know you're not alone. Teigen is handling the newborn phase like a boss, and here are 20 ways you can do the same.

20 Take All The Pictures

There's always someone who is going to be a Debbie Downer and criticize a new mom for posting too many pictures of their newborn, but Chrissy proves those people need to mind their own business.

The newborn phase is so short that you need to enjoy it and savor it, and part of that means capturing every moment, from a sweet bathtub pic to an adorable diaper shot.

The days with a newborn can be very long, so it's nice to have these sweet shots to share with friends and family. If people don't like how many pictures you take or post, that's too bad for them.

19 No Shame. Ever.

Every new mom knows that you won't be able to use the bathroom or even have a moments peace for a lot of years to come, so it's best if you just embrace it now. Teigen showed just how little privacy a new has when she posted a picture of herself holding a badminton racquet while sitting on the toilet.

"I was just forced to play badminton while sitting on the toilet, peeing. Kids are fun," she tweeted. It may be an adjustment to realize you'll never pee alone again, but once you embrace it like Teigen did, it almost becomes normal! It's also nice to know that even celebrities never get to pee alone, either.

18 Embrace Your Post-Pregnancy Bod

The newborn phase can wreak havoc on your body, especially if you're breastfeeding, but that shouldn't mean that you need to stay home and never have fun again!

Embracing your post-baby body like Chrissy does here on a log ride at Disney proves that just because you're breastfeeding and you may leak a bit of milk, that shouldn't stop you from having a fun night out away from the baby.

There are lots of places that offer nursing rooms so you can pump while you're out as well, so while it may be a bit of a pain to have to carry around some breastmilk, it may be worth it to enjoy a night away without the baby, like Chrissy does all the time.

17 And Don't Be Afraid To Show It Off

You grew a baby in that body and you should be proud of it! Let's face it, with the newborn phase comes a lot of body changes, most especially much larger breasts. The girls are producing milk to feed your newborn, so they're going to be bigger and much more noticeable but you shouldn't feel the need to hide them away.

Chrissy shows that you can't please everyone, so you shouldn't bother trying.

You're going to have some major cleavage for a while, especially if you're breastfeeding, and you shouldn't be afraid to show it. You need to worry about comfort and accessibility more than what people are going to say about your breast size, so don't be afraid to wear whatever you want. Also, women who typically have small breasts may enjoy going up a few sizes, even if it is temporary, so enjoy them while you have them!

16 Filters, Filters, Filters

The newborn phase is amazing, but it's also really, really tiring! Thanks to social media and their vast use of filters, you can post pics of yourself looking bright eyed and bushy tailed even if you're totally exhausted.

Chrissy isn't afraid to admit that she uses a variety of filters like she did in a picture that she captioned, "I touched up my under eyes yeah what." Yeah what indeed.

If using a filter or photo editing tool is what it takes to help you post a picture making you look a bit more awake, then go for it! There's no shame in the filter game and every mom who is going through the newborn phase should do whatever it takes to make them feel great, especially on a much deserved night out!

15 Accept Grandma's Help

Chrissy Teigen can afford all the nannies in the world, but there's nothing like having family around to help out, especially during the newborn phase. The mom of two often posts pictures on her social media page with her own mom, Vilailuck, who also happens to live with her daughter and her family.

While we may not all want our moms living with us, embracing their help is definitely one way to survive the newborn phase, and Chrissy knows it. Her mom helps her with the children and Chrissy is often posting pictures of them cooking together and just enjoying each other's company.

Not only does having grandma around to help ease the burden on an exhausted new mom, but it also helps forge closer familial relationships in the house between all family members. Sometimes, she even gets a little help from John's mom.

14 Let Dad Multitask

The newborn phase is just as amazing for new dads as it is for new moms, so you should thoroughly enjoy letting dad do his share of multitasking. Chrissy loves to post pictures of husband John Legend balancing both kids, especially in this shot of him burping baby Miles while balancing daughter Luna on his shoulders.

Moms often feel the need to handle a lot of the responsibilities during the newborn phase, but as Chrissy shows it's ok to let dad shoulder some of those needs too. Moms often need a break to just recharge and sharing the responsibilities is crucial to allowing that to happen.

13 You Do What You Have To Do

Toddlers are super adorable, but almost more adorable when they have an infant around. Chrissy showed just how cute little Luna is when she asked her to 'breastfeed' her baby doll just like she was breastfeeding little Miles. "Luna making me feed her babydoll so I guess I have twins now," she captioned the pic on her Instagram account.

Chrissy shows that sometimes you have to make the toddler happy to keep everyone happy, and she has no problems with that, even if others had issues with her picture. You can't please everyone, but you should always try to please the toddler!

12 Rock Those Mesh Undies

Moms who are currently in the newborn phase can learn a thing or two from Teigen and not be ashamed to rock those mesh underwear that are literally lifesavers after having a baby.

Teigen once again proves that there's no shame in wearing what makes you feel good and comfortable after having a baby, even if other people think you should 'cover up.'

Mesh underwear are a lifesaver for so many new moms and we rarely see celebrities showing off the not so pretty side of having a baby and what it does to a woman's body.

Moms can take some advice from Teigen here and rock that mesh underwear for as long as needed!

11 Don't Cry Over Spilled Milk

Breastfeeding mamas know that breastmilk is basically liquid gold, and spilling it is the last thing you want to happen. Literally spilling breastmilk is a breastfeeding moms worst nightmare. Chrissy showed just how much she needs every single drop she can produce when she posted a video of herself trying to salvage the breastmilk she spilled by accident.

A syringe and a scoop come in handy when trying to perform a breastmilk rescue operation, but at least the mom of two kept her sense of humor while trying to save what she can. Sometimes you just have to laugh over spilled milk.

10 Normalize Breastfeeding

It might be 2018 but there are still people around who have problems with breastfeeding mothers actually showing themselves breastfeeding. Thankfully new moms can take a page from Chrissy Teigen's book and not care what other people think about it at all.

After Teigen posted a picture of herself breastfeeding son Miles and pretending to breastfeed daughter Luna's baby doll, people felt the need to comment.

"I think its perfectly fine for women who breastfeed in public," someone replied, in a now-deleted tweet. "They are doing it because they need to. When you post on social media that you are doing it, it comes across as narcissistic though."

Chrissy didn't hold back in her response, letting the critic know that their issues with her breastfeeding are theirs alone, and she's not concerned. Thanks to Teigen for doing her part to normalize breastfeeding and never backing down when trolls attack.

9 Park Trips Like A Boss!

There's nothing like having a warm, snuggly newborn to make you want to cuddle in bed all day, but if you have other children you know that's not possible.

If you have other children you know that life doesn't stop just because you have a newborn, which is what Chrissy is now learning as well. The mom of two recently welcomed son Miles and shows that sometimes you just have to put that newborn in a sling and head to the park with your toddler.

Multitasking is a skill all moms have, and Chrissy shows just how to do it like a boss!

8 Toddlers Rule

Teigen proves that the best way to make it through the day is to play with your toddler, even if you're busy managing a newborn.

When someone posted on Twitter, "IF A BABY HANDS YOU A FAKE PHONE YOU BETTER ANSWER," Teigen couldn't help but comment that 'this is 90% of my day.'

Teigen knows that role-playing with your baby or toddler is one of the most important things you can do to ensure you have a happy baby, even if it does take up most of your free time, and even if it means pretending to call the pizza place and dry cleaners 400 times in a row.

7 Don't Let The Mommy H8ers Get You Down

No matter whether you're famous or not, the internet is full of sanctimommies and mom shamers that will come for you the minute they see something they feel they can criticize.

Chrissy has dealt with more than her fair share of internet trolls, and we love that she's almost embraced them and made fun of them. As Chrissy proves with her many breastfeeding pics, sometimes it's worth having the internet mommy shamers criticize you for how you're holding your child when you look as good as she does in her pictures.

Should I post the one where his head looks unsupported but my face looks good and Luna is over it, the one where his head is supported but my face is just okay and Luna is over it, or him crying and my face looks okay and luna is over it?” she cleverly asked.

Be like Chrissy and don't worry about what other people will say and just post the pictures that make you look amazing!

6 The Pounds Will Change... And That's OK

It's hard when you're in the newborn phase and your body is still adjusting to not being pregnant anymore, but it's nice to see that even swimsuit models face the same challenges regular women do.

Every woman who has ever had a baby nodded their head in agreement when Chrissy tweeted about how all her clothes are so much shorter now that she's got 30 pounds of baby weight on her: "one thing I've noticed now that I'm 30 pounds heavier is that everything is so much [...] shorter."

Losing baby weight is hard, but laughing about it makes it a bit easier. Knowing that even those who are rich and famous and can afford all the trainers and personal chefs are dealing with the same thing makes it a bit better.

5 Chrissy Gets Real

Childbirth is very tough on a body, but Teigen shows that it's not always the same for every person. The Lip Sync Battle host made moms everywhere nod their heads in agreement, or cringe in pain when she tweeted; “I can confirm postpartum life is 90% better when you don’t rip to your [behind]. Baby boy: 1 point. Luna: 0”

Teigen proves that new moms should never be afraid to talk about what has happened to them during the birthing process and let others know that it really is more physically demanding than running a marathon.

New moms need to have respect for all their body has been through so they can get all the help they deserve.

4 Try Everything!

Having a baby not only takes a toll on your body, but on your self esteem too. Sometimes it's nice to take a few moments for yourself and do a bit of pampering. Chrissy shows that new moms shouldn't be afraid to try trusted and new beauty regimens to make themselves feel better.

"Face mask / heat pad / [down there] steam no I don’t know if any of this works but it can’t hurt right?" the cookbook author captioned this pic on her Instagram.

Chrissy proves that sometimes you need to take a few moments out for self-care, even if you want to skip the down there steam. A face mask and maybe even a massage can make you feel like a new woman when you're in the throes of the newborn phase.

3 The Mom Look

New moms everywhere could relate when Teigen posted a video to her Twitter account drawing attention to the now visible veins in her chest.

"Help,”  she captioned the 9-second video she posted on social media. “Please look at my veins going to my milky boobs," she pleads. "What is this?

As with other parts of your body, your breasts change after you have a baby, and especially if you're nursing. The increased blood flow to the breasts sometimes results in more prominent veins. Moms who are going through the newborn phase can learn that it's ok to ask questions about the changes your body is going through because chances are you are definitely not alone.

2 Sometimes You Need To Work

Chrissy Teigen proves that just because you're in the newborn phase doesn't mean you don't have to work, especially if you're self-employed. Teigen's latest cookbook, Cravings: Hungry for More, is the follow-up to her first wildly successful cookbook, Cravings.

Even though Teigen recently welcomed son Miles, she's still working on promoting her cookbook. She has definitely taken time off to be with her son, but she also has other priorities that she has to focus on as well, and promoting her new cookbook is one of them.

If you're in the newborn phase and you have work to do, don't feel guilty about taking some time to focus on your own endeavors. Chrissy shows that balance is the key to getting through the newborn phase.

1 Let Dad Do The Heavy Lifting

It's amazing to see so many dads becoming hands-on when it comes to fatherhood, and John Legend is no different. We love that Chrissy lets John do the heavy lifting when out and about, especially in this shot where John is carrying baby Luna in a baby carrier.

Moms tend to do some much of the heavy lifting when it comes to the newborn phase, especially if they're the only one who can take any parental leave and if they're breastfeeding. It's nice to let the dad do his part when you can and give mom a break. Plus, look how adorable John looks carrying little Luna!

The newborn phase can be tough, but Chrissy shows us how to get through it with some laughs!
