If anyone can guarantee a #Statement baby name, it's a rapper. While Khloe Kardashian named her daughter True and Gwyneth Paltrow chose Apple Martin, it's the hip-hop world that comes with the "OG" on creative baby names.

In a way, it makes sense. These people weave words for a living. Whether it's Eminem breaking records or Travis Scott ushering in the new era of rap, the artist whose job it is to throw out quick-witted rhymes isn't going to be a let-down when it comes to naming that baby.

Of course, it doesn't hurt that a lot of these rappers have found themselves parenting a child with a major celebrity. Travis Scott comes as a duo with Kylie Jenner. Kim Kardashian does the same with Kanye West. While not all rappers are still an item with their baby momma (or daddy), the names will last forever.

Cardi B hardly scrimped on her 2018-born baby Kulture. Beyonce and Jay-Z have three kids (and the names are far from ordinary). The amazing thing? Normies would never be able to pull of these names. And yet, Stormi Webster, King Cairo, Cali Dream, Bamboo, and Future are working– somehow.

It's time for the biggest and best round-up of rapper baby names. This isn't just looking at the last year or two. It's going from the present day way back to the #OldSkool. Here are 25 of rap and hip-hop's most creative baby names.

25 STORMI (TRAVIS SCOTT & KYLIE JENNER)

You're looking at the world's most famous baby (although she's still too young to know it). In February 2018, Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott became parents to Stormi Webster. Webster is Travis Scott's last name. Kylie even revealed that there was a last-minute name change:

"I was just looking at nature names like weather and earth inspired. Storm as on there — just Storm. And then I was like, I kinda want '-ie' like 'me', so then I did Stormie with ‘-ie’."

24 MESSIAH YA'MAJESTY (T.I.)

T.I. is a rapper with a lot of swag. The "King of the South" is definitely one of those artists who has "made it"– what better way to celebrate the hip-hop lifestyle than giving your kids hip-hop names? T.I. is a father of seven.

Messiah Ya'Majesty is the name of T.I.'s eldest son. This kid was born with a statement name (and he seems to be leading a statement life). For his 13th birthday, Messiah was thrown a lavish birthday bash complete with an Egyptian pyramid cake.

23 NORTH WEST (KIM K & KANYE WEST)

Nobody ever thought that North West would pull off her name. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's first child is now a Vogue-approved style icon, and it's hard to believe that she's already 5.

"The way Kim explained to me was that north means highest power, and she says that north is their highest point together, " Kris Jenner told The Mirror. Given that Kim and Kanye are the Wests, this name also works out as super witty. North is now a power name considered by mothers across the world.

22 KULTURE KIARI (CARDI B)

2018 was pretty major for Cardi B. This hard-hitting loudmouth has broken global records, ushered in a new style of rap, and yes, Cardi is now a mother. At the end of 2018, Cardi announced her split from Migos' Offset. Still, this former husband and wife duo are loving parents to their first child, Kulture Kiari. Cardi keeps this baby under wraps, but she did briefly explain her naming decision to SNL:

"Anything else would've been basic," Cardi said about the name.

21 KING CAIRO (TYGA)

Tyga was back in the news in 2018 after In Style reported that he was "taking credit" for Kylie Jenner's success. While these two dated back in 2016, Kylie has moved on with Travis Scott. Tyga is a dad of two.

Tyga's first child was born when the rapper was 22– his mommy is Blac Chyna. They named their son King Cairo Stevenson. This kid has been getting the A-List treatment like there's no tomorrow. Mini Range Rovers and black matte Lamborghinis have all been gifted to this little one.

20 SNO FILMON DOT COM COZART (CHIEF KEEF)

Definitely one of the more "out there" rapper names. Chief Keef is a rapper whose stage name is snappy, but that's nothing compared to the 100% unique baby name he chose. While Keef's three other children are named Krue Karter, Kayden Kash, and Kimora Sosha, it's the fourth baby that comes with a #Statement.

Sno Filmon Dot Com Cozart made such a wave, The Independent wrote an entire article about it. If you're wondering, part of the name is after Keef's record label.

19 BLUE IVY (BEYONCE & JAY-Z)

Blue Ivy spends less time in the public eye than North West, but she's just as famous. Beyonce and Jay-Z welcomed their first daughter in style, although with these two, there's always a deep meaning.

"My favorite hue is Jay Z blue" are the lyrics. The letters in Ivy also make up the Roman numeral of four– any fan will know that these two have a thing for "4." They got married on the 4th, the album names include 4:44, and fans are now wondering if there'll be a fourth baby.

18 PERCY, MERCY, VERCY, HERCY (MASTER P)

Percy or Mercy on their own aren't particularly unusual. It's when a rapper goes full-whammy with matching names for four of his kids that people will start to notice. Master P, a.k.a. Percy Robert Miller is a rapper with $250 million to his name. The names he chose for his kids? Percy, Mercy, Vercy, and Hercy.

Master P's other kids are named Tytyana, Veno, Inty, Cymphonique, and Itali. Getting full points for creativity (after all, Itali with an "i" is pretty unique), Master P more than earns his slot here.

17 FUTURE ZAHIR (FUTURE & CIARA)

What a cutie, right? Ciara and Future didn't have to look far for inspiration when it came to naming their son. Future Zahir is his name. They join Future's three other children whose names are Jessica, Brittni, and India. What made Future choose this name, we still don't know. That said, it isn't uncommon for boys to take a version of their father's name.

While Cardi fans wondered if Kulture was named after Offset's album, Kulture, it's unlikely that Future went down this route– his 2017 album is Hndrxx.

16 ROYALTY (CHRIS BROWN)

Chris Brown's 2018 might not have made as many headlines as Travis Scott or Kanye West, but there's no denying that this rapper is a major face. With over 40 million Instagram followers, Chris is a bonafide A-Lister. Turns out his daughter has a name to match. Royalty is the name of Chris' adorable little girl.

In 2018, TMZ reported Chris and his baby momma, Nia Guzman finally "calling a truce." Together, they threw Royalty a $30,000 birthday party (definitely fit for royalty).

15 SAINT AND CHICAGO (KIMYE: ROUND II)

Kardashian babies will always be front-page news. We've just heard the news that Kim and Kanye are expecting their fourth child. Joining North West are Kim and Kanye's two other children. Their son is named Saint while their daughter is called Chicago. She's even called "Chi" for short. Kim revealed on KUWTK that Kanye "wants seven children!" She called the idea "crazy." Well, a fourth is on the way!

Kanye believes people "live up to their names." Chicago is also Kanye's hometown.

14 CALI DREAM (THE GAME)

There's a small part inside all of us that aspires to the Californian Dream. While rappers and their marbled mansions might show them living it, remember that the road there hasn't always been easy. Jayceon Terrell Taylor, a.k.a. The Dream grew up in low-income housing in gritty Compton. He made it.

In 2003, The Game became a dad to Harlem Canon. 2010 marked the real statement baby name though. The Game's daughter is named Cali Dream. This girl now comes with a lot of Louis Vuitton on Instagram.

13 DAZYNA (FLAVOR FLAV)

Well, we did say old-school included! Flavor Flav joins rappers like 50 Cent, Eminem, and Jay-Z– they all grew up in poverty. William Jonathan Drayton Jr., a.k.a. Flavor Flav is an old-school rapper who was up on the baby name thing way before Travis Scott. He has six kids, including his daughter, Dazyna. Yup, spelled exactly like that.

"If you grew up with holes in your zapatos, you'd celebrate the minute you was having dough." Flavor Flav's baby name basically echoes Jay-Z's lyrics.

12 LION (DJ KHALED)

DJ Khaled now introduces himself as "DJ Khaled: Father of Asahd." While some rappers spend hardly any time with their kids, Khaled is a dad who feels he owes his life and success to his son. Asahd means lion. The birth was live-streamed on Snapchat, although it's Khaled's words that make us melt.

"Every morning I tell Asahd I love you. I got you. But the truth is, he got me. He's what gives me hope and purpose. He's my inspiration and my motivation. He is my legacy, my love, my lion." #Wow

11 RUMI AND SIR (BEYONCE & JAY-Z: ROUND II)

With Blue Ivy as their first daughter's name, Bey and Jay weren't going to scrimp on the #Statement for their 2017-born twins. Their names are Sir and Rumi. These A-List babies are kept well away from the public, but their names have already made them legacies. Jay- Z has revealed that Rumi is named after the couple's favorite poet– a 13th-century Persian lyricist. As to Sir, Jay Z told Rap Radar:

"Sir was like, man, come out the gate. He just carries himself like that. He just came out, like, Sir."

10 KARMA BRIDGES (LUDACRIS)

Karma Bridges now comes with all kinds of uʍop-ǝpᴉsdn captions that Ariana Grande has made her trademark. Her daddy is the chart-topping rapper, Ludacris. In 2018, W Magazine wrote an entire article about Karma dancing with Kris Jenner on Instagram– well, we did say the A-list.

Karma Bridges is fairly out there, but there's a definite spirituality to this name. Ludacris is a dad of four. His other kids are named Cadence Gaelle, Cai Bella, and Shaila Scott. Here he is being a #AwesomeDad.

9 HEIRESS DIANA, PLUS MAJOR AND DEYJAH (T.I.: ROUND II)

For all the rep they get for not spending that much time with their kids, some rappers do step up to the plate. In fact, Travis Scott used those words to describe his daddy journey with Stormi. T.I. featured earlier on this list with the statement Messiah Ya'Majesty name he chose for his son.

There are six others, though. Heiress Diana is this little cutie who is all over her daddy's Instagram. T.I. is now 38 years old. His other kids are named Domani, Deyjah, Clifford, and Major.

8 MOROCCAN AND MONROE (MARIAH CAREY & NICK CANNON)

Mariah Carey doesn't do anything by half. Her hotel arrivals require 100 doves, 20 kittens, and butterfly-shaped confetti, The Daily Mail reports. The voice of an angel has earned Mariah $535 million, and every year, "All I Want For Christmas" tops charts.

Mariah was married to Nick Cannon. Together, they had twins named Moroccan and Monroe. While the Marilyn Monroe link is obvious, not many people know that Moroccan was named after the "Moroccan room" which takes up the third tier of Mariah's NYC apartment. Fancy.

7 ROCKET AYER (PHARRELL)

Only Pharrell Williams could pull off naming his kid Rocket. The Despicable Me 2 singer pens songs called "Happy," and his dapper dresser ways have seen him walk the runway for Chanel. In short, this guy is fly.

Rocket Ayer is the name of Pharrell's son. Speaking to Oprah, Pharrell revealed that his son was named after an Elton Joh track. We also learned that Despicable Me 2's "Rocket" was written in honor of Pharrell's son. This rapper has since become a dad to triplets!

6 ADONIS (DRAKE)

The hip-hop world will always come with beef. Cardi B and Nicki Minaj still don't appear to be done. After Pusha T "outed" Drake as a father in 2018, the Canadian rapper took to his Scorpion lyrics to officially announce his son. Drake's boy is named Adonis. The name has links to Greek mythology, plus it has a meaning of "God's blessing" in the Bible.

"I wasn't hiding my kid from the world/I was hiding the world from my kid." Drake revealed his son in 2018.
