Now she is going to be an amazing big sister. She will be able to tell him that she was there for him since birth... and boy was she! When Krystie Garcia went into labor, she called 911 who sent paramedics her way but they were not quick enough so her 8 year old daughter stepped in.

Jazmine, with the help of the 911 operator took over delivery. During the 8 min call, Jazmine stayed calm and relayed the instructions over to her mother. She even started to prepare the towels and other items to make sure the baby would be born safe and to secure his head.

Paramedics arrived shortly after and brought baby and mom to the hospital. Both are doing great and the baby boy was named Joseph James Snyder. "She definitely stayed calm when she needed to. I was hysterical," Garcia said.
