90 Day Fiance stars Deavan and Jihoon have confirmed that they were indeed expecting a baby but sadly lost the little one due to a miscarriage.
When a woman first discovers she's pregnant, she might well feel the urge to tell everyone she knows. To shout the good news from the rooftops. However, there's a rule of thumb that recommends you tell as few people as possible about your pregnancy until the 12-week mark. There are a number of reasons for that.
The main one is that after that three month period, the risk of miscarrying your baby drops significantly. However, although many pregnant women do indeed follow the 12-week rule, it's ultimately up to them when they tell the world about their imminent new arrival. It's the choice of the parents to spread the word when they feel ready, nobody else's.
That's why news of 90 Day Fiance star Deavan's news leaking the way that it did was not cool at all. Deavan asked in a private group whether US medical insurance would cover her pregnancy. Someone in that group then treated the news as if it were their own and leaked it out into the wide, wide world. Since then, Deavan and her partner Jihoon have been plagued with questions about whether the rumors were true, reports TV Season & Spoilers.

#linkinbio A lot of people have been asking if I am pregnant. I haven’t address this head on yet. I want to first start off by saying, thank you so much for your support and love. With heavy hearts we have to announce sad news. Last Monday we did end up losing our baby. We are heart broken and focusing on healing. I want to apologize for not telling anyone sooner. But we needed this time to heal as a family. A lot of people go through this, and we feel for so many people and wish everyone who has suffered through this same situation happiness and healing. We are healing and doing better, and want to thank everyone for your support during this very difficult time. #linkinbio Deavan, and Jihoon #90dayfiancetheotherway #90dayfiance #beforethe90days #90dayfiancehappilyeverafter.
Well, turns out the rumors were true. However, Deavan tragically lost what would have been her third baby via miscarriage. Thanks to the unknown person leaking her private news, the TV star has now had to take to Instagram and share her heartbreaking news with the world. "Last Monday we did end up losing our baby. We are heartbroken and focusing on healing," she wrote in a heart-wrenching post.
The moral of the story here is that news of someone else's pregnancy is not yours to share, not before they have broken the news themselves. Thanks to the news leaking out, Deavan and Jihoon have had to go public with their devastating news, something they could have struggled with and attempted to come to terms with in private had their wishes been respected and news of the star's pregnancy not been leaked without her say-so.
