90 Day Fiance couples are no stranger to intense drama and break-ups. But Asuelu Pulaa and Kalani Faagata have beaten the odds as one of the show's strongest couples. Need proof? Look no further than their newest bundle of joy.
The couple announced on Instagram last Thursday the successful birth of their second son, Kennedy. Faagata confirmed that their son arrived on Tuesday, May 7th at 9:11AM. Faagata endured 11 hours of labor to deliver her second child completely drug-free, much to the amazement of her fans. The entire delivery was captured in a video that has since been uploaded to YouTube.
After the contractions started, the expectant mom lasted seven hours at home before heading to the hospital. Three hours after that, her son was born. Faagata was quick to thank all of the hospital staff that helped her throughout the delivery.
Faagata was on vacation in America Samoa when she met Pulaa. Interestingly, he was actually working as an activities director at the resort she was staying it. The Orange County native told PEOPLE that she knew it could work as soon as he took his shirt off; they fell instantly in love. But when she headed back home to the United States, Faagata discovered she was pregnant. The K1 visa soon followed after. Despite the reservations of her family, the couple married and welcomed their son Oliver nine months later. Oliver, now 15 months old, was excited to become a big brother. The couple's story was originally documented on season 6 of the popular reality show.
The couple announced their second pregnancy on Instagram, although Faagata was initially worried to tell her parents. She feared that they would think she and Pulaa were an irresponsible couple. But according to reports, Kalani's family have come to accept Pulaa as one of their own, and look forward to expanding on their grandparenting duties.
Earlier this year, Faagata opened up about her struggles to her followers, admitting that she wasn't doing well "mentally or physically". Her mother rushed to her side to aide her daughter throughout the process, providing her with some much-needed support. The mom of two shared few updates throughout her pregnancy, clearly showing that she wanted to focus more on her family than social media.
While they've had their struggles, Faagata and Pulaa seem to be looking toward a happy and bright future- especially now with two gorgeous sons in tow!
