Last year, Aaron Paul appeared at Comic-Con with his baby daughter dressed in a hilarious Breaking Bad costume. Yesterday, the actor told Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest on Live with Kelly and Ryan that he had wanted to dress his daughter Story Annabelle in a Breaking Bad costume years before she was born

“I actually got that outfit the last time I was at Comic-Con five years previous to this,” Paul, 40, told Seacrest, 44, when the host asked him about her adorable hazmat get-up.

Paul said the costume had been worn by a stand-in for baby Holly — Walter White’s daughter on the hit show — but he decided to hold onto it. “I was like, ‘I’m going to keep this and put it on my baby one day,'” he said.

“Aaron, is that sending the wrong message?” Seacrest asked the El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie actor.

“Maybe, yeah,” Paul answered, eliciting laughs from the audience. However, Ripa, 49, came to the actor’s defense. “No! Can’t we have any fun anymore?” she joked.

At the 10-year reunion panel for Breaking Bad at San Diego Comic-Con last year, Paul had Story onstage with him, wearing a tiny yellow hazmat suit and mask as a mini-me version of her father’s character, Jesse Pinkman. The audience, of course, went wild. Story, now 20 months old, may soon be getting a baby brother or sister.

“God, no!” the actor, who is currently starring in HBO’s Westworld, answered when asked by Entertainment Tonight earlier this month if he and wife Lauren, who got married in 2013, were done having kids.

“You talk to my wife about that. I’m down to just keep on going,” Paul said. “My life began once I had a baby girl, my God. And watching my wife take on a role of a mother, it’s just such a joy.”

Although Story’s Breaking Bad costume was a complete success, the actor said his daughter won’t be watching the gritty Emmy-winning drama any time soon. “I don’t think it’s something that I should start playing her on her sixth birthday or anything. … Maybe when she is 12, 13,” he said in the ET interview.

The actor and his wife were recently seen at the premiere of El Camino earlier this month, where Paul admitted that fatherhood has been “wild.”

“Becoming a father is the greatest gift that anyone could ever be given,” he said. “I had that kind of assumption beforehand, but no one truly knows until it happens. It is just the greatest joy. [Story] and my wife are the greatest joys of my life. Equally, of course.”

After appearing on Live with Kelly and Ryan, the couple was spotted strolling through the streets of New York City with Story in tow. At times, the girl was held in her father’s arms, but after getting a bit tired, she was put down for a nap in a stroller.

Paul, who has become something of a fashion icon, seems to have passed on his sense of style to his daughter. The tot wore a furry pink sweater, a print dress and fringed leggings. The actor, meanwhile, wore a leather jacket, grey trousers, and suede boots. Lauren, on the other hand, wore a striped shirt, jeans, a cardigan and a pink wide-brim hat. An adorable family if there ever was one.
