Every woman deserves to feel beautiful, confident, and strong. A wonderful company in New Zealand, called Cadenshae, has worked tirelessly to provide clothing for women to make them feel like their best selves. Cadenshae began when a woman by the name of Nikki Clarke loved to work out but when she became pregnant she found that there weren't a lot of options for pregnant women in the activewear category.
Nikki set out on a mission to create comfortable, and appealing activewear that women could wear when they are pregnant and nursing. They have many different types of products now in their activewear arsenal. They have several different types of nursing bras and in a variety of patterns. They also have long sleeve shirts, tank tops, t-shirts, and even hoodies that are all nursing friendly. Each product is comfortable and can be worn while doing your workout. The amazing company also creates leggings, tights, shorts, and pants. Their leggings and shorts are specifically created with pregnant and postpartum women in mind. Their leggings and shorts have a belly band that can be folded over the growing belly and can be used as a tummy panel after the baby is born. The bands can also be folded over.
Cadenshae decided that they were not only going to provide activewear attire for women who are in different stages of motherhood. They recently came out with tights that are squat proof, amazingly comfortable (according to reviews), and also...HAVE POCKETS! Now you can work out and have your cell-phone right on your leg. I have a pair of their maternity blue leggings and I love them. My only complaint was that they didn't have pockets and so they created some with pockets and I was so excited! These tights are not targeted toward women who are in pregnancy or in postpartum. The tights are created for all women no matter if they are not a mother, recently became a mother, or have grandkids.
About 8 months ago I found the company Cadenshae. They told me that they were an activewear brand that provided comfortable work-out attire for women who are pregnant and nursing. They assured me that I would love their clothes and that I would never go back to any other workout gear. Well, I have four children and have purchased my fair share of nursing bras, and nursing clothes. I eventually gave up wearing a bra because every single one of them would either give me mastitis or would offer me no support so it wasn't even worth it. To say I was skeptical is a complete understatement. I didn't believe I would like what they had to offer but I wanted to give them a try. My biggest complaint is that I am so mad that I didn't find them earlier. I love their nursing bras! Right now I feel like it is my duty to go and share the company with others! Before you think that this is a paid advertisement or something, it isn't. I don't get anything from the company for writing this article. I just love them.
I was scrolling through my Instagram feed and I saw Cadenshae now have once again created a new product and I was so excited. I immediately wrote to them to give me all the details. First of all, these leggings are not specific to moms. These leggings can be used by any woman! I talked to their PR and Communications Manager and she said they are called Bliss Leggings. They are created with a seamless design and made from knitted fabric. The fabric is a nylon/polyester/elastane blend. They are completely squat proof and have a gorgeous detail down each leg as well as a ribbed high waistband. They are full length dark gray and come in sizes from XS-XL. I think I need these legging in my life!
So far I have been able to try quite a few different products from Cadenshae and I look forward to trying out some of their other products soon. I have tried two of their nursing bras and I love them! They are comfortable and provide amazing support. I can wear them for a long time and I have never got mastitis and that is an amazing feeling. Like I said, before, I really wish I would have had these bras with my first child. Although they have a nursing function, they are going to still be amazing after I am done nursing. They also have options for sports bras that are not for breastfeeding.
I have tried the hoodie and I love the hoodie! Easily the most comfortable hoodie I have ever owned! I am going to be wearing these hoodies even when I stop nursing. It also is such a beautiful fabric. Right now I have tried the dark blue and gray. I have also tried the light blue and gray. Both are great! Next, I want to try the green one! I have also tried a gray long sleeve shirt! It is very comfortable and flattering. It also has zippers so that I can easily breastfeed my baby without having to flash the world by pulling up my entire shirt. I would love to get a couple more of these long sleeve shirts. Then they have tank tops so that you can wear a tank while exercising when it gets a little warm outside. I have the pink and gray one which is very comfortable and so cute!
The most amazing part about Cadenshae is their sense of sisterhood. Moms sometimes find themselves trying to compete with one another as opposed to working with each other to achieve a common purpose. Cadenshae is all about togetherness, support, and loving one another. The owner, Nikki, is a strong woman who encourages women to love their bodies no matter their body style. Cadenshae is all about encouraging women to be confident and to support other women. The entire company is positive and amazing. If you are looking for activewear during your mothering journey than Candenshae is the best place!
