Former The O.C. actor, Adam Brody, is opening up about welcoming his baby boy during the pandemic with wife, Leighton Meester. Adam and Leighton are a match made in heaven, as they are both famous for having lead roles in teen dramas. Adam is known for his role as Seth Cohen on The O.C., while Leighton is known for her role as Blair Waldorf on Gossip Girl. The couple became engaged in 2013 after meeting on the set of the movie The Oranges back in 2010. They were married a year later and now share two children together.
The actor did an interview with ET Canada where he spoke about his new movie, The Kid Detective, and what it was like welcoming a child during the pandemic. Adam admitted that he and his wife are fortunate enough to have the work flexibility, which has allowed both of them to be there for their children whenever they'd like. He added that being in quarantine and having nowhere to be, has been very positive for the father of two. There are no premieres to attend or parties to go to, so the parents have had an endless amount of time to spend with their newborn. Honestly, this was probably the best time for the famous actors to have their second child.
Adam and Leighton never officially announced they were expecting until paparazzi pictures were taken of Leighton with her baby bump this past April, according to E! Online. It was later revealed by Adam while participating in Hold the Phone TV's The Fun Time Boys Game Night Spectacular that she had welcomed his baby boy. He revealed on Twitch, "I have a new kid...Since last I played I have a new kid. I have a boy. He's a dream, he's a dream boy."
