Even though many reports have said that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are looking to keep Baby Archie Harrison’s life and details of his arrival into this world private, it looks as though his birth certificate has made its way online.

According to reports, Archie was indeed born in a hospital and not at home as was initially thought. Also, his mother Meghan Markle’s official job title has managed to stir some interesting commentary online.

Even though the world will be calling him Archie or Master Archie, his official name is Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, reports CNN. And while some reports suggested that he was born near Windsor Castle, little Archie was born at Portland Hospital, which is a private hospital located in London’s West End. A spokesperson for the hospital even released a statement congratulating the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on the birth of their healthy baby boy but couldn’t provide any more information because of patient confidentiality.

While a lot of Archie’s vital stats and info look pretty common, it’s Meghan Markle’s job description that has people talking the most. On the certificate, Meghan’s job is listed as Princess of the United Kingdom. Even though Meghan’s official occupation is ‘Princess’ she can’t be called ‘Princess Meghan’ for a specific reason.

That’s because only members of the monarchy who are direct descendants of the royal bloodline are allowed to have Prince or Princess in front of their name. That’s why Queen Elizabeth gave the former Hollywood actress the title of Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex instead.

Also, it appears as though Prince Harry registered Archie’s birth 11 days after he was born. Little Archie Harrison came into the world on Monday, May 6 but his registration date on his birth certificate is listed as Friday, May 17.

So far reports indicate that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are enjoying their new life as a family of three at home at Frogmore Cottage with Archie. While Prince Harry has a few royal engagements on his calendar for the coming weeks, Meghan is expected to stay home with Archie during her three-month maternity leave.
