If there is one member of the extended Duggar family who loves to grab headlines as much as the rest of the clan does, it’s definitely Amy Duggar.
The mother-to-be recently posted a humorous social media post of her husband Dillon leaning on her growing baby bump at the beach in an optical illusion photo. The couple is expecting their first child together.
According to People Magazine, the 32-year-old reality television star shared a behind-the-scenes snap of her vacation in Florida with her husband. While there are a lot of celebrities who love to document their growing baby bumps on social media, Amy decided to take things one step further by using her belly as a clever prop for their photo.
The pic was taken at Fort Walton’s beach with Amy posing to the site and her husband Dillon standing near the water.
He has his hand in what appears to be her belly as though he was leaning on her stomach. Amy captioned the cute photo simply with, “Nailed it!” Dillon also shared the same photo on his Instagram account and wrote, “I’ll just hang here.”
Clearly, the couple is enjoying their summer vacation while documenting Amy’s pregnancy on social media with their fans. Even though they’ve had plenty of ups and downs in their relationship in the past, they’ve worked passed their issues and are now excited about the next chapter ahead of them: parenthood. The couple announced they were expecting back in June, and ever since then, Amy has been sharing her pregnancy journey with her fans.
The mother-to-be told People back in May that they are expecting a baby boy and that their little bundle of joy is due in October. And for Amy, this is great news because she says she’s always wanted to be a “boy mom.”
She told the publication, “We just can’t wait for this little ball of energy to arrive! He’s already named, so let all the embroidery begin. I am so obsessed with baby bathrobes!”
The couple also thanked their fans for all of their kind words, well wishes and support along the way. Amy and Dillon tied the knot in a country chic wedding in Bentonville, Arkansas back in 2015. And while she does try to keep in touch with her Duggar relatives, one of the reasons why she’s not as close with them is because of her more laid back, liberal lifestyle.
